I also spent three years volunteering with the Walk Me Home Rescue group(as a volunteer and foster parent)—walking, socializing, and supporting rescue dogs across a wide range of breeds, energy levels, and temperaments. Friendly Playmate or Private Retreat: My sweet 5-year-old Border Collie loves having friends over to play. If your pup prefers quiet solo time, I can easily provide a separate, comfortable resting area alongside private walks and yard time. Schedule
I work part-time and am home for the vast majority of the day, giving me plenty of flexible time to give your pet constant attention and supervision. Our household has a fun, active routine: we let the dogs out into our yard every 2 to 3 hours for playtime, fetch, and frisbee. In addition to yard play, I take them on 1 to 2 dedicated neighborhood walks every day to ensure they get plenty of fresh air and exercise.
