Their fenced in backyard and house are set up for entertaining new dogs with comfort and safety. They were able to get our puppy to eat his meals even though he's teething and sometimes unmotivated. He loved playing with Ellie and he was so relaxed after I picked him up because he had a great night with Ana & Mitchell.”
“Steven was an absolutely wonderful pet sitter. My wife and I always have family house/pet sit when we go out of town, so leaving them with a sitter had us a bit anxious. During the meet and greet, Steven immediately put us at ease with his kindhearted and soft nature which made us confident in his ability to provide excellent care. While we were gone, steven provided updates with pictures every day, and we could see that they were happy, relaxed, and enjoying thier time with him. “We love having Catherine, Albert, and Trace take care of Walter. They treat Walter like family and share all of their toys with him. We get regular updates and never have to ask them how Walter is doing. Their backyard is absolutely beautiful and dog friendly. They take our dog on strolls around town and play fetch regularly as if he is their own. I can’t say enough about how great they are and how comfortable we are leaving Walter with them. My husband especially loves the report cards Walter gets after his stay.”

“I’m so thankful to have found Joyce and her roommate. At the beginning I was kind of nervous and even lose sleep few days prior to dropping Kiko off at Joyce’s. Once I drop her off and shortly after get an update, all my worries gone and I was able to go on vacation at ease. Joyce gave us regular updates with photos and videos. We really can tell that Kiko is happy and treated well. Kiko is now back home with our daughter while we are still on vacation. Amazing experience! My 2 dogs stayed with Jianlei for a few nights and I would definitely book another stay for them in the future. With a park right next door, my dogs were able to take frequent potty breaks and walks. Jianlei was very responsive and sent pictures/updates in the morning and evening which definitely helped with my peace of mind, especially since I have a senior dog. My dogs thoroughly enjoyed their stay. Thank you so much!
We’re grateful to have found Janice through Rover. We’ve never used this app before. We have two small dogs: a blind Maltese Poodle (10 y.o.) and an 8-year-old Maltese Terrier. They stayed with Janice and her family for five days. Pet care has never been an issue for us, but we needed a solution for our dogs during this trip. We explored pet hotels in the area but we knew it wasn’t a good idea for our senior dogs, especially the blind one. We met and greeted 3 other Rover service providers, but we felt most comfortable with Janice. She was attentive, asked about our dogs’ needs, and offered updates and photos during their stay. The best part was that Janice and her kids treated our pets as if they were their own. If you’re looking for pet care in the Pasadena, Altadena, or Arcadia area, I highly recommend Janice.
Five stars. I couldn’t be happier with the care Jonesy received. Communication was excellent the entire time, and I always felt updated on how she was doing. It’s obvious Jonesy had a great time and was very well cared for. She came home happy, tired, and even learned a few new tricks while she was there. Most importantly, I felt completely confident that she was safe and in good hands. I would absolutely trust her with Jonesy again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter.
Eva is fantastic and went above and beyond as a sitter. I had a really early flight and planned to drop off Josie in the AM, but for everyone’s convenience Eva suggested bringing Josie over the night before, which was absolutely the right move. She gave me daily updates, and made sure Josie got all her exercise needs met. Will definitely book again for services. Thanks Eva!
Outstanding experience. A few things I really appreciated: 1. Excellent communication with status updates and pictures of the dogs playing 2. The property is designed for the dogs to be safe, monitored, and low stress 3. Very quick response times 4. You can tell they’re dog people. They care and it shows. Shu Ting continues to be an amazing sitter! This last booking, our flight home was delayed and she was extremely accommodating. Our dog always looks happy and healthy in the check up photos and has the time of her life! This is our 4th time booking and will continue to use her services for as long as possible!
We hadn’t taken an overseas vacation in over five years because it’s always been so hard for us to leave our dogs, and honestly, we struggled to find someone we truly trusted. But after our meet and greet with Janelle and Alvin, I immediately felt at ease and knew our babies would be in great hands. I’m so happy to say that instinct was absolutely right. They took care of our two dogs for two days, and the entire experience was seamless. Janelle was incredible with communication! She sent updates and photos regularly without me ever needing to ask, which gave me so much peace of mind while we were away. Both Janelle and Alvin have such a calm, kind demeanor, and their home is clean, cozy, and clearly a safe space for pets. One of our dogs is usually very anxious and slow to warm up to new people, but he surprised us by opening up to them right away. That alone speaks volumes.
