“Yeti had a lot of fun during his stay visiting with other dogs. Jing was super kind and sweet. She sent updates of Yeti soon after we left to re-assure us that our puppy was adjusting well. We are really thankful.”

“We had to leave our puppy with Eric for almost 10 days and he took good care of him. He frequently sent video updates and replied to my queries right away. Eric is very good with dogs and I could see how my baby was cared for.”

“I was super hesitant leaving anyone with my fur baby, but Steven made this process so easy. He constantly sent updates and pics and in all the pics my Mac looked so happy. I will definitely be booking with Steven again if needed. Highly recommend.”

“Biscuit had an amazing time here. It was like a second home. Angelica was amazing with communication and updates. Will definitely use her in the future for all biscuit care!”

“Rika was a wonderful dogsitter. Meili felt comfortable and was happy while I was away. Rika sent frequent updates which were much appreciated. Meili has severe allergies and I felt at ease to know how well Rika watched over him.”

“Joyce is great! You can tell she has a natural connection to animals. Our dog took a liking to her right away, and gets along wonderfully with her two dogs. We plan on using her services whenever we need a sitter in the future.”

“Joe was wonderful and gave us lots of photos and updates while we were out of town. It was a relief to have peace of mind that Joe provided us while we boarded Sophie. We will definitely return to Joe again. Thanks so much, Joe!!”

“Shu Ting took great care of my dog - pitbull mix- trimmed her nails and sent me a lot of photos though out the stay. Will definitely leave my pet with her again, she has a nice backyard and my dog was able to play with other doggies which was great for her. Many thanks and great appreciation for the care that she gave my pet!”

“Excellent boarding of my little dog Dino. He had fun playing with her dog and kids. HE was well taken care of by Janice and her family. I will definitely board with her in the future.”

“We hadn’t taken an overseas vacation in over five years because it’s always been so hard for us to leave our dogs, and honestly, we struggled to find someone we truly trusted. But after our meet and greet with Janelle and Alvin, I immediately felt at ease and knew our babies would be in great hands. I’m so happy to say that instinct was absolutely right. They took care of our two dogs for two days, and the entire experience was seamless. Janelle was incredible with communication! She sent updates and photos regularly without me ever needing to ask, which gave me so much peace of mind while we were away. Both Janelle and Alvin have such a calm, kind demeanor, and their home is clean, cozy, and clearly a safe space for pets. One of our dogs is usually very anxious and slow to warm up to new people, but he surprised us by opening up to them right away. That alone speaks volumes. I can’t recommend them enough, and we will absolutely be booking with them again in the future! Thank you Janelle and Alvin for taking such good care of our babies!”

“Cathy and Andres were wonderful! I was gone for five days and they took such great care of my dog. They always kept me updated on how my dog was doing. It was a complete load off my mind. They also have a great, sweet dog who kept mine company. Overall, this was a fantastic experience.”

“It’s always been very hard for us to leave our dog, but Catherine and Albert have made it so much easier for us to travel without worry! They truly go above and beyond to make him feel like he’s just part of their family. Our dog loves playing in their amazing backyard and walking in their beautiful and safe neighborhood! They also put a lot of thought and time into making sure the pack is a good fit so everyone has fun and is comfortable! Beyond being wonderful and caring with him, they were so kind when our flight was delayed this past trip. They stepped in to watch him for an extra night without a second thought, which was such a huge relief during a stressful travel day. We’re so grateful to have found such kind, caring, reliable people who care for our pup as much as we do!”

“Ana and Mitchell and their dog Ellie were wonderful sitters for our 5 month old Labradoodle puppy. I am very glad to have found them. Their fenced in backyard and house are set up for entertaining new dogs with comfort and safety. They were able to get our puppy to eat his meals even though he's teething and sometimes unmotivated. He loved playing with Ellie and he was so relaxed after I picked him up because he had a great night with Ana & Mitchell.”

“We really appreciated Lisa (and her family’s) care for our dog Kunga! She was flexible with pick-up and drop-off times and sent updates. Kunga loved her time there. Would totally leave Kunga with Lisa again.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Rosemead
Nicholas took good care of Charlie and sent me videos daily of Charlie playing with the other dogs that he was sitting. I really appreciated seeing Charlie virtually everyday and knowing that he is safe and happy. He has a playroom for the dogs and a small fenced backyard for the dogs to play as well. I unhesitatingly recommend Nicholas to anyone looking for a great dog sitter on Rover. Thanks Nicholas, and I think Charlie misses you too!

We've left Gawain with Jing for daycare several times but yesterday was our first boarding experience. It went so well!!! She was super responsive, accommodating, and paid attention to the instructions I left her. When we picked up Gawain, he looked well-rested and almost didn't want to leave 😂 Thank you so much again Jing!!!

Haijin and Victor were extremely prompt with replies for a last minute boarding. Our puppy Casper (8mo high energy beagle mix) had a great time playing in their big yard with the other dogs. When we picked Casper up, he didn't want to leave. Will definitely book again, peace of mind and ease of arrangements made this a wonderful experience.

We are very pleased with our boarding experiece with Amelia. She was very gentle and attentive to our dog. We received sufficient updates incl. photos, videos, and how our dog interacted with other dogs. And our dog got along well with hers (we think our dog misses her buddy).

As a first time Rover user, my experience with Yifan was great. We had an initial meet and greet with Trixie, which helped put me at ease for my booking. The twice daily updates and photos were also appreciated, as I could see Trixie was well cared for and comfortable in her care.

Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
