About: I used to live with my siblings and their dogs for 5 years. I have taken care of my sister’s dog very often now that we no longer live together, sometimes a whole month at a time. I have experience in assisting with daily walks, feeding, playtime, cuddles, and providing companionship. Through this experience, I learned how to recognize a dog’s routine, provide a sade and comfortable environment, and respond patiently to their individual needs. I am very comfortable being around dogs and I will treat every dog as if they’re my own. I am very excited to provide a loving and reliable care for your dogs while you’re away. I’m currently at home full time, so I have all the time in the world to care for your dogs and play with them. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live in a clean two-story home where dogs have plenty of room to relax and spend time with me. I will closely supervise pets while they are in my care and make sure they always have fresh water, regular potty breaks, and lots of attention. I do have a pool, but I don’t go to the back at all and the doors access to the pool are always closed. I understand that every pet has their own routine and personality, so I will do my best to follow your instructions. I will also provide regular photo and video updates so you can have the peace of mind.
“Joyce is an exceptional sitter. Incredibly flexible, and highly communicative, you can be assured she will take very good care of your furry family member. She sent me photos throughout my vacation and my pup was the happiest and most comfortable I’ve ever seen him outside of our family. I am very grateful for her help and will be coming back to her for my next trip!”

“Georgina was wonderful - she provided updates, pictures, videos and peace of mind. She even went the extra mile to ensure our good boy was combed! Would highly recommend.”

About: I’ve been around dogs for as long as I can remember and have had dogs in my life since I was 5 years old. I’ve cared for everything from energetic puppies to senior dogs, and I genuinely love spending time with them. Over the years, I’ve owned multiple dogs and have experience caring for up to 4 dogs at once. Whether it’s going for walks, playtime, feeding, or making sure each dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved, I treat every dog as if they were my own. I currently work from home, so if your dog is staying with me, I’ll be home throughout the day to provide plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship. If you’re booking dog walking or drop-in visits, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to stop by reliably and ensure your pet receives the care they need. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live in a quiet cul-de-sac in a townhome with a fully fenced private patio. My home is equipped with exterior security cameras, as well as an indoor camera that overlooks the main living area for added peace of mind. I enjoy taking dogs on walks through my quiet neighborhood, and there’s also a large fenced park nearby for exercise and play. If your dog is crate-trained, I’m happy to accommodate that routine, and I also have a spare room available if they would benefit from having their own quiet space to relax.
“Ana and Mitchell and their dog Ellie were wonderful sitters for our 5 month old Labradoodle puppy. I am very glad to have found them. Their fenced in backyard and house are set up for entertaining new dogs with comfort and safety. They were able to get our puppy to eat his meals even though he's teething and sometimes unmotivated. He loved playing with Ellie and he was so relaxed after I picked him up because he had a great night with Ana & Mitchell.”

The median cost per night for dog boarding in El Monte is $63
Dog parents share their Rover experiences - El Monte
Madalyn was wonderful with our dog. She took great care of her and kept me updated with pictures and videos throughout her stay. She was very attentive to my dog’s eating, potty habits, and overall well-being, and she even tried different things to encourage her to eat when she was being picky. I really appreciated how caring, patient, and thoughtful she was. It gave me peace of mind knowing my dog was in good hands while we were away. I would definitely recommend Madalyn and would be happy to have her take care of my dog again. Thank you so much, Madalyn! 😊

Fantastic people!! I will definitely be using Georgina again! I could feel the care that the family provided. I was afraid Bailee, my dog, wouldn't want to come back home! Lol Absolutely the best! She listened to my requests and acted on them. I consider it a Perfect Weekend for my baby

Jennifer was a wonderful caretaker for my 2 small senior dogs. On short notice, she was able to accommodate them for that weekend and was able to be flexible with drop off and pick up times. That was especially helpful for me, given the hectic weekend I had ahead. She sent me several updates with videos and pictures throughout each day of them eating, relaxing inside/outside and sleeping. Even though I was not able to reply right away, she still sent updates anyway and when I did have a chance to check my phone, it was a much needed sense of peace being able to see that my babies looked relaxed and happy while they were away from home. Her fur baby Pocky was a big ball of love during our initial meet, I knew right away things would go smoothly between our babies. When I arrived for pick up, they were both napping then happy to see me when I woke them up, tippy tapping around and loving on me. That tells me they were in good spirits and not stressed. I am new to boarding and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you Jennifer, Pocky, and family for welcoming us into your home!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
