“Fantastic sitter for our Maine coon cat. Very attentive to all details, experienced in animal care and so very flexible. Everything you’d want in a pet sitter! Thank you so much Hayley!”

About: I grew up with a Great Dane who I cared for from childhood until she passed, and she’s the reason I’ve loved pets my whole life. Since then, I’ve helped take care of family and friends’ dogs of all sizes. Today I have an 11-year-old chihuahua (Camila) who is healthy, loved, and very used to having little pups around and a 5-year-old Weimaraner (Lolo) who was literally ‘trained’ by Camila to be gentle and respectful with small dogs. We also have a 16-month-old baby who has learned to be calm, gentle, and loving with pets. Your pup will be in a loving, kind, safe, and experienced home. I work from home with a very flexible schedule, so I’m able to give consistent attention and supervision to your pup throughout the day. My son is in daycare during daytime hours, so the home stays calm, quiet, and perfect for small dogs. I have a fenced backyard and a fenced front yard where dogs can safely explore under my supervision. I only care for a small number of pups at a time to keep the environment calm and safe. My two pups are gentle, respectful of small breeds, and all interactions are always supervised. I can also separate or crate dogs if needed to match their routine.
“Justin was a great sitter for our two doggies! He played with them, fed them, and gave them water just as we asked. He also even picked up their poop which was a nice touch! He made it very easy for us to enjoy our getaway without needing to worry about our dogs. They were in great hands while we were gone!”

About: I used to live with my siblings and their dogs for 5 years. I have taken care of my sister’s dog very often now that we no longer live together, sometimes a whole month at a time. I have experience in assisting with daily walks, feeding, playtime, cuddles, and providing companionship. Through this experience, I learned how to recognize a dog’s routine, provide a sade and comfortable environment, and respond patiently to their individual needs. I am very comfortable being around dogs and I will treat every dog as if they’re my own. I am very excited to provide a loving and reliable care for your dogs while you’re away. I’m currently at home full time, so I have all the time in the world to care for your dogs and play with them. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live in a clean two-story home where dogs have plenty of room to relax and spend time with me. I will closely supervise pets while they are in my care and make sure they always have fresh water, regular potty breaks, and lots of attention. I understand that every pet has their own routine and personality, so I will do my best to follow your instructions. I will also provide regular photo and video updates so you can have the peace of mind.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for 5+ years now. I have 5 of my own doggos ranging from ages 2-8! I’ve lived with all of them at some point in time and am comfortable with taking care of more dogs. Currently living with my two 8 year old yorkiepoos I’m shifting to part time and will be available daily and soon will be free all day weekly in June 2024! I’m going to be relaxing until I start grad school. I am comfortable walking, feeding, bathing, and sleeping in the same vicinity as dogs. I have my own fenced backyard and will always be attentive to ensure safe playing
“Zoey was amazing! It was a lot easier being away from home knowing she was going to drop in and keep my cat’s company. She followed instructions, gave me updates, sent pictures and most importantly made sure my cat got his daily medication. My cats were well looked after with her while I was away from home. I would not hesitate booking with her again! This was my first time using Rover and I could not have asked for a better experience!”

About: I had a doggy for 19 years. My senior baby had arthritis and has needed timed medication and care so I am very familiar with the extra love these fur babies need in times of need or missing their parents. I also have over 5+ years of guinea pig care and love experience. I am able to house sit or provide services on the weekends. I work full time from Monday- Thursday. I am available all day Friday - Sunday + Holidays (: I have a small but efficient backyard for small dogs. It has a tree for shade, and I also have a doggy house/blankets in case needed.

About: I have hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats with different personalities, routines, and care needs. I am comfortable with feeding schedules, fresh water, potty breaks, litter box cleaning, dog walking, playtime, and routine medication support. I also have experience with senior pets, shy cats, anxious dogs, and pets that need a calmer, more patient approach. I understand the importance of following instructions closely, watching for changes in behavior, and keeping owners updated during each visit. For medication care, I can assist with routine owner-directed medication such as pills, liquid medication, eye drops, ear drops, and topical medication. Written instructions are required so I can follow your pet’s normal care routine accurately. I offer drop-in visits and dog walking by appointment. My schedule may vary depending on location and existing bookings, but I do my best to keep visits consistent with your pet’s normal routine. For first-time clients, I prefer a meet-and-greet before confirming the booking so I can learn your pet’s routine, feeding instructions, medication needs, behavior notes, and home access instructions. For pets with medication needs, please provide clear written instructions in advance, including medication name, dosage, timing, and what to do if your pet refuses the medication. Safety and trust are very important to me. I follow owner instructions carefully, keep dogs leashed during walks, use your preferred walking route when provided, check doors and gates before leaving, and provide clear visit updates with photos. During each visit, I make sure food and water are refreshed, potty or litter box needs are handled, and your pet’s area is left clean and secure. I also pay attention to changes in behavior, appetite, energy level, or anything that seems unusual, and I will update you right away if I notice a concern. I only provide drop-in visits and dog walking at the pet owner’s home. I do not offer boarding or daycare, so pets remain in their own familiar environment.
“Jacqueline did a great job with Xena. She walked her and took photos and even hung out with my kitties. She is very reliable and caring. I look forward to booking her again. Thank you Jac!!! ♡”

I’ve cared for everything from energetic puppies to senior dogs, and I genuinely love spending time with them. Over the years, I’ve owned multiple dogs and have experience caring for up to 4 dogs at once. Whether it’s going for walks, playtime, feeding, or making sure each dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved, I treat every dog as if they were my own. I currently work from home, so if your dog is staying with me, I’ll be home throughout the day to provide plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship. If you’re booking dog walking or drop-in visits, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to stop by reliably and ensure your pet receives the care they need. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live in a quiet cul-de-sac in a townhome with a fully fenced private patio. If your dog is crate-trained, I’m happy to accommodate that routine, and I also have a spare room available if they would benefit from having their own quiet space to relax.

We had such a wonderful experience! She took amazing care of our three cats while we were away and was incredibly kind, attentive, and reliable. She kept us updated and made us feel completely at ease knowing our babies were in good hands. 🥹🐱❤️ You can really tell she genuinely cares about animals and treated our cats with so much love and patience. We came home to three happy, well-cared-for kitties. We’re so grateful for everything and would absolutely book with her again. Highly recommend! 💕
Jacqueline did an excellent job caring for my cats while I was out of town. Her calm and quiet demeanor was very helpful for the comfort of my cats, and I felt confident in my choice to have her as my cat sitter when the more skittish of my two cats did not run and hide when she first met him. She sent me many wonderful pictures of her drop in visits with them, which included engaging play time, and I could tell day by day they were adjusting well to her presence, even excited for her to arrive. The cats and I are satisfied by the care she provided, and I look forward to connecting with Jacqueline again for future trips.

Jessie was amazing with my cat. She was incredibly gentle, patient, and caring with my cat. Even during the meet and greet, my cat warmed up to her right away with no adjustment period at all. By the end, my cat absolutely adored her. Super grateful for the thoughtful care and attention during the drop-in visits.

Justin was a great sitter for our two doggies! He played with them, fed them, and gave them water just as we asked. He also even picked up their poop which was a nice touch! He made it very easy for us to enjoy our getaway without needing to worry about our dogs. They were in great hands while we were gone!

Chu Hua was absolutely amazing with my kitties!! She clearly has a ton of experience with cats, and asked great questions when she came beforehand to check everything out and get the run down! She came every day, did what was needed, and played with them! Got so many photos and videos too! Will definitely be using her again in the future!!

I made a last minute change due to emergency and Jarvis could still accommodate. My velcro baby seems to get along with him. Jarvis kept me updated with photos, responded quickly, and raised questions about pet care. My fur baby needs to have eye drops every hour and he did it for me.

Beverly took incredible care of my dog! She kept me updated at each visit and was very good at communication. I loved the pictures she sent when she took him on walks and silly things he would do. She also went above and beyond the expected service which I am thankful for. I will definitely use her in the future!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
