“Courtney was an amazing dog sitter for us. We had last minute dog-sitting plans fall through (over Christmas!). Not only was she available, but she came over a day or two in advance of our departure to meet me, get the understanding of our house, but most importantly to meet Frank (our old man dog)! Frank is often shy, anxious, and slow to warm up to new people. He’s also really old and thus fairly high-needs for a dog (e.g., has to be carried outside and in, takes medications, is finicky). Courtney made him feel completely at ease and moved to match the dog’s pace. She also sent thorough and kind updates during our whole vacation—always including a picture or two with each update, unprompted. Courtney assured me she had a variety of experience and was not afraid of giving him medicine OR if Frank decided to stay in bed with her at night. She seemed knowledgeable about his breed and confident in her ability to handle any situation that might come up. Regardless, she was a great communicator, confident in her dog watching abilities, and made me feel totally at ease leaving my elderly best friend with her while we went overseas. I totally trust her and would recommend her to anyone (especially an anxious dog-parent, like me) looking for someone to stay with their dog, walk their dog, or whatever! Courtney is was an amazing find and we look forward to having her stay with Frank again! Well, well worth her price.”

“Kim is a natural with dogs! My dog is generally very shy and nervous around new people, but Kim made her feel comfortable right away, and they were best buds in no time. Kim knew exactly how to approach her (gently, speaking softly) and didn't push her boundaries (waiting for my dog to approach and sniff her, only petting when my dog seemed more comfortable). Kim was quick to make a connection with her, and they both had a ton of fun walking and playing. I don't trust a lot of people with my dog, but I would have no hesitation leaving her under Kim's care!”

About: I’ve taken care of pets for family friends for the past 3 years. I volunteer at a local shelter, so I have pretty good experience with dogs, or so I’d say… I’ve always had a passion for dogs because I’ve realized how much of a blessing it is to have a loyal companion by my side all the time! I’m currently a high school student, so I’d say my schedule is pretty flexible after school (3 pm). I have tutoring occasionally, but I could easily move things around! I have a fenced house and a friendly cat, as well as a friendly Frenchie! I can easily crate your pet if needed as well, but I usually refrain from leaving pets in crates, as I have the time and space to hang out with them.
