“Sheila did an amazing job with two dogs that can be difficult for strangers including an abused foster that does not like people at all. House and dogs were in amazing shape when we returned. Thanks a ton Sheila!!”

“I just want to give a big fat THANK YOU to Rudy for watching over Annie while I was in crutches and also for caring for her post-surgery. Rudy is incredibly sweet and attentive to our baby. She wags her tail in glee whenever Rudy comes around. Really so glad we found someone we totally trust with our pup. Will definitely book with him again!”

“Everything went well when Keely watched our animals. I can always tell when they are so calm after we have been gone for a few days. She kept us up to date with pictures and information that really eases the nervousness of leaving one's fur babies in the hands of someone else.”
About: I think I have a special bond with all the puppies and doggies, I make them feel like their own and they automatically feel confident with me. I know how to bathe them, feed them, play with them and even give them their space if they need it. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, and I have open availability throughout the week. I’m flexible and happy to accommodate morning, afternoon, evening, or last minute visits 🐾✨ Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. I look out for any potential risks and make simple adjustments to prevent accidents. I respect their space and routine, keeping everything familiar and calm so they feel safe and relaxed while you’re away 🐾💛
“Joliana was so wonderful with our cat, Siri! We are always a little nervous to leave our elderly girl who has some light separation anxiety, and needs daily medication, but Joliana did great! She sent photos daily and assured us that Siri was relaxing and had no problem taking her medication. Joli also left our home in great condition. We would definitely hire her again in the future.”

“Sara was awesome with our 9 year old Lab/Pit mix! I am so grateful! She did everything that was asked of her and more, took pictures and kept me updated on how our dog was doing. So grateful!!! I would definitely recommend her.”

About: I love dogs… of all kinds! That’s an understatement. My boy is Sailor, the Siberian Husky you see in my profile. The other two dogs—Bokee & Penny—are my friend’s dogs that I dog-sit for whenever I’m needed. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, and I’m comfortable with any breed. Your furry friend will love hanging out with Auntie Tamara. I work for myself so I’ll have plenty of time for your fur babies. From feeding to walking to bathing to chilling, your pup and I will be the best of friends. In terms of my house, I have a yard with high walls so Sailor doesn’t even try to go anywhere unless it’s with me. When taking care of my friend’s dogs, they entrust me with their house key so I can come over and watch over the pups (even when they’re older, they’re always puppies in my eyes). When you ask me to dog-sit for you in your home, you can trust me to treat your space with the utmost respect. Same goes for the fur babies. They’re always in good hands with Auntie Tamara.
About: I’m an experienced pet caregiver with a Ragdoll cat and 4 years of experience raising a French Bulldog. I’m comfortable caring for both cats and dogs, including feeding, basic grooming, and maintaining clean and healthy environments. As a mom of two, I bring patience, responsibility, and strong attention to detail. I understand different pet temperaments and provide a safe, structured, and loving environment. Your pet will be treated like family and cared for with kindness and reliability. I have a flexible schedule and am available most days, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. I spend a lot of time at home, so your pet will receive plenty of attention, care, and supervision throughout the day. “Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priorities. With years of experience in pet care, I provide a clean, comfortable, and secure environment where pets can move and play freely without any risks. I offer personalized attention based on each pet’s habits and preferences, making sure they feel loved, safe, and right at home. You can trust me to care for your furry friend as if they were my own.”
“We were updated throughout our vacation with photos and reports, the house was clean when we returned and the animals were healthy and content. What more could anyone ask for? Very pleased and fully intend to ask Delia to pet sit for us in the future.”
About: I work at a puppy preschool training different breeds and ages of dogs. I have 2 dogs and 2 reptiles of my own, and watch my neighbors cats. Im currently working part time and doing school full time, mainly online. With this I have time to spare doing what | love; working with animals. My schedule is open Tuesdays and Thursdays after 10am due to class and Sundays after 11am. In regards to caring for pets in my clients home I would take the pet for a walk, playing with them to initiate brain stimulation, and physical activity. If there were to be specific instructions left by the owners, I would try to accurately meet their accommodations.
About: I've been around pets of all kinds (dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, turtles, crabs, birds) growing up. I've dog sat through college for friends and though couldn't have my own (due to apt living), have always been the classic auntie for my pals' pets! I do a great job with play/rest/cuddle care, hygiene (poop scooping/pee on pads or outdoors), and food/treats (that align with their diets/needs). I work remotely from home, but have a lot of flexibility and so love going out on walks/adventures myself. So visiting other fur pals sounds like it's right up my alleyway whether it's in a gap break between work needs and/or before or after work. Whether in your home or mine, I'm fully aware that your pet is their own full of own history/needs/comforts/safetys/fears too and so I practice having a really curious and calm posture that allows them to ease in. I'm master of the waiting game (you can ask my human nieces/nephews, they get tired of repetition/waiting before me) and so love creating a space that your pet can ease into and enjoy with of course a routine/structure that works for them (which is given by you). I love it!
About: I’ve had animals in my life since I was five years old. Caring for animals has always come naturally to me, and I truly believe every creature, big or small, deserves kindness, patience, and love. I take pride in providing thoughtful, reliable care and making sure each pet feels safe and happy while their family is away. Whether it’s a walk, playtime, feeding, or just a little extra attention, I’ll treat your pets like my own. Right now, I’m also working toward a special goal—starting a small savings fund to take my children on a once-in-a-lifetime trip to the Galápagos Islands, where we can experience the incredible wildlife together. I currently work full-time, but I’m available weekdays before 9 a.m. and after 3 p.m., as well as all day on Saturdays and Sundays. I’m also available for overnight stays any day of the week. When I care for animals in my clients’ homes, my goal is always to make them feel comfortable, loved, and safe while their family is away. I follow each pet’s regular schedule as closely as possible—feeding them on time, making sure they get plenty of walks, playtime, and affection, and keeping their routines consistent. I take time to learn their personalities and any little quirks or preferences they have, whether that means a certain walking route, a favorite toy, or just extra cuddle time on the couch. I keep food and water bowls clean, tidy up after them, and send regular updates so owners can feel at ease knowing their pets are happy and well cared for.
“we had Celest housesit with our slightly anxious and shy pup, Nebula and would gladly have her back with us! Celest was communicative from the first meet and greet to the day of the sit. we received photos and updates. when we got home, it was clear that Nebula had gotten very comfortable and cozy despite her initial apprehension. i really appreciated Celest’s gentle, patient demeanor with Nebula 🥹💛 thank you!!”

“Alex took excellent care of our pets and home for 11 nights. She had to deal with extreme weather and several unexpected events which she handled with calm and good judgment. We would definitely ask her to care for our household again.”
About: I have had a dog my whole adult life. I have raised them as puppies. I love all kinds and enjoy spending time with them. I am currently a stay-at- home mom/house-wife and looking to fill some time during the day. Look forward to stopping by to check on your loved ones or taking them for walks. I currently have a very lovable dog that gets taken out several times a day along with daily walks. Pets are treated like humans in my eyes. They should get as much attention as possible.
About: Hi! I’m Emory, and I’d love to spend time with your best friend 🐾 I’m committed to providing reliable, attentive care you can feel confident about. I have experience caring for a wide range of dogs, from an energetic 50 lb husky pit mix to my current 12 year old 70lb pit bull boxer mix, as well as a smaller dog with special needs. I’m comfortable with different sizes, temperaments, and routines. I work from home, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. This includes frequent potty breaks, playtime, and relaxing together in the sun. I live in a back house with access to a large, fenced, private yard, so your dog will have safe outdoor space to enjoy. I’m also very active and typically walk 4 to 5 miles a day, so if your pup loves walks, we’ll get along great. I’m happy to accommodate walks from 30 minutes to an hour or longer, depending on your dog’s needs. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and cared for, just like they would at home. I look forward to meeting you and your pup 🐶 I’m currently working full time from home, and I am able to provide wonderful care throughout the day for pets, including my own. My life revolves around connecting and caring for my own fur baby, and I truly enjoy this level of care in my daily routine. I have a fully fenced in and private backyard. Lots of grass and space to run around! My dog is 10 years old and incredibly sweet and calm. She has gotten along extremely well with all prior foster dogs and enjoys meeting new friends on walks. I am happy to care for your pet at your home by drop-in or with walks. My partner and I have a very small home, so I can accept dogs up to 40 pounds for boarding. Don’t let the smaller space worry you! I will make sure they’re comfortable for sleep time and get lots of exercise throughout the day.
“This was our initial contact with Loretta. Last minute, very old dog, and a holiday week. special needs and overnights. That all seems like a tough nut to crack. Loretta did just that with maturity and professionalism. We will be asking for her services going forward.”

Monrovia pet parents share their Rover experiences
Pasha and Nathan were absolutely fantastic with our home, two dogs, and new cat. They were reliable, communicative, and clearly took great care of everything while we were away. All of our pets were happy, relaxed, and well loved when we returned, and the house was in great shape. We would happily book them again.

Alisia and John did a phenomenal job of taking care of my two dogs! They followed all my instructions to the letter, gave me daily updates on my hounds’s condition, and sent photos, which is very reassuring when you’re far away from your pets. When I came home the house was as clean, or cleaner, than when I left it. I highly recommend them as dog guardians and house sitters!

Joliana was so wonderful with our cat, Siri! We are always a little nervous to leave our elderly girl who has some light separation anxiety, and needs daily medication, but Joliana did great! She sent photos daily and assured us that Siri was relaxing and had no problem taking her medication. Joli also left our home in great condition. We would definitely hire her again in the future.

Jessica is the perfect sitter! I knew she was a good fit when our dog went up to her right away when we did a meet and greet. He is very particular, or I should say skeptical. I feel completely comfortable with her in our home and we come home to happy animals and a house as we left it (or maybe better?) Can not recommend her enough!

Sara did such a great job taking care of our cat! She gave him the care he needed, including getting his daily medication. She was also really communicative and sent tons of photos! She also took great care of our home while she stayed there, everything was very clean when we returned. We hope to continue to use her whenever we need a pet sitter:)

We had a great experience with Imani and her fiancé! They were very good at communicating before and during the stay and sent updates and photos of our dogs. Our dog and puppy were very happy and comfortable with them. We felt completely at ease leaving our dogs in their care. I couldn’t recommend them more!

This review is bittersweet, as we will move to Atlanta in a few months. Luna and Atticus adore Eva; it showed in all the videos and pictures she sent on our last trip away. I left knowing they and our home were in the most capable hands. Anyone who books with Eva will receive the best care for their fur babies, who will get constant hugs and attention they deserve. An added bonus was that the house was cleaner than when I left it. I hope to find someone as dedicated and loving as Eva for Luna and Atticus in Atlanta for all our trips. Eva, we will miss you!!
