I’m a therapist full-time, which means I’m calm, attentive, and very tuned in to behavior and routines. I’ve also fostered kittens and have a cat of my own, so I’m experienced with everything from playful young cats to shy or sensitive ones. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, medications, litter care, enrichment play, and giving plenty of affection. I work from home much of the week, which allows me flexibility and natural breaks throughout my day for drop-in visits or extended care. “We had a family out of town wedding weekend to go to. Obviously, like the rest of the world we hadn't traveled anywhere in the last 18 months. We have 2 middle aged dogs who've grown accustomed to having us around all the time during lockdown. Imagine our relief when we found Rique from Rover. He stayed with the boys in our house for the weekend. It was seamless. They barely knew we were gone. Rique fed them exactly like we do. Rique walked them exactly where, when and how we walk them. About: I’ve had dogs since I was 10 years old and have experienced every stage of dog ownership, from puppyhood to old age. Recently, my dog passed away, and need a friend to walk with 3 times a day 😅 With extra time on my hands this summer, I’d love to share my love and attention with dogs whose families are away. As a former dog parent, I know how hard it can be to leave your baby behind. I’ve always felt a little guilty when I had to leave mine, so I understand how important it is to find someone you trust. I hope to be that peace of mind for you and a loving friend for your pup while you’re away. I am a teacher on summer break, so I have a very open schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to your pet. I am available for walks, drop-in visits, playtime, feeding, and lots of extra love and attention throughout the day. Your pet will receive consistent care and companionship. I care for your pets according to their normal routine. You can provide feeding schedules, sleeping preferences, walk routines, medications, crate-training instructions, and any other special needs. My goal is to keep your pet comfortable, happy, and cared for.

About: I have owned a German shepherd dog for 7 years, and caring for him was in itself a part time job. I spent hours over those years training him, teaching him to walk properly on a leash, socializing him with other pets, and loving him. My personal experience allows me to treat your pets with the same care I did with my own. I currently work part-time, so caring for your pets will be my top priority when I am with them. All my attention will be focused on their safety and love! With experience owning a large German shepherd dog, I have the skill and experience needed to crate pets when necessary, play with them to have fun whilst letting out energy, and am able to walk dogs easily on a leash.

About: What makes me different is that I don’t treat pet sitting like a checklist. I pay attention to the small things routines, moods, habits and adjust how I care for each pet based on what they actually need. Whether it’s a high energy dog or a cat that prefers quiet company, I show up in a way that keeps them comfortable and keeps their world feeling familiar. I am available monday through friday at any time of the day right now. I am willing to work anytime just let me know when the best time fits your schedule. Taking care of pets at home is really about consistency, attention, and understanding what makes each one feel safe. Keeping a steady routine for feeding, fresh water, and cleaning their space helps them feel secure, while daily attention whether it’s walks and play for dogs or litter box care and short play sessions for cats keeps them healthy and happy. It’s also about noticing the small things, like changes in mood, appetite, or energy, because pets can’t tell you when something’s off. Most of all, it’s about showing up for them in a calm, reliable way so their everyday life feels stable and comfortable.
