“Honestly one of the greatest dog walkers and dog caretaker ever! Melanie is super responsible and very gentle! My puppy is always scared of new people but Melanie really took the time to recognize what our puppy needed and became best friends with our puppy! Melanie is always on time and super diligent about leaving everything where it belongs like our keys, treats, leash and harness. Melanie is very respectful and we and our puppy will always choose her as our dog walker/caretaker!! Thank you Melanie!”

About: I have taken care of dogs of many kinds under up to 10 years now. I have done everything from home sitting or in home dog care to providing doggy hotel service utilizing my own home. I am a consultant who makes my own schedule and in my free time I make myself available to be a fill in doggo mom. I stay in a wonderful luxury community where dog walks and outside fun will be fenced within the community and there is plenty of pet accommodations.

About: I’ve taken care of a variety of animals alongside dogs (guinea pigs, horses, snakes, lizards, etc), and I love animals to keep me company. I have two dogs of my own, a doberman-mix puppy and a shepherd-mix senior. I’m comfortable with walking/caring for larger dogs (100lbs+) as my own have all been medium to large breeds. I’m open to dogs of all energy levels, I’ve completed the basic/intermediate/advanced training courses at petsmart with my own dogs, and I love seniors! I’m a student taking a semester off and picking back up in the spring, so my schedule is flexible! I’m available 7am-7pm on weekdays, and 12pm-7pm on weekends. I’m currently in my last semester of high school, so my availability is limited to weekends. Soon to open up and change in May, though. I am available from 7am-7pm on Saturdays, and 12am-7pm on Sundays. I’m confident with walking larger dogs, preferably in harnesses if they’re more energetic or prone to pulling, but a collar is fine as well.

“My husband and I, trust Sheila and her sweet pup, Miss Ava, with our dog Falkor. Every interaction has been warm, welcoming and a delight. Highly recommend them for care with your own fur baby.”

Monrovia dog parents share their Rover experiences
Vicky instantly won our two pups over. She’s very gentle and loving and our two dogs really enjoyed meeting her. We have two very active pups (Border Collie and Aussie). Our BC has so much fun on his walk with her. He came back very happy and don’t want her to leave. We’re excited to continue to have Vicky come and hangout with our two boys.

Judy has been wonderful with my dogs. She communicates clearly and consistently, and she has so much patience with my girls. I really appreciate her thoughtful suggestions, helpful comments, and the pictures she sends after each walk. She’s very knowledgeable, and I completely trust her with my dogs. I would absolutely recommend her.

I had an amazing experience with Maybrit I was in San Francisco for work and needed someone reliable to take care of my dog, and she went above and beyond. She was flexible with my schedule, made sure my dog got plenty of walks, and sent me updates that gave me peace of mind while I was busy. It’s such a relief to find someone who truly loves and cares for animals. Highly recommend her to anyone who needs a trustworthy and caring dog sitter! 🐾 Corry says Hi!!
