I am a former Dog mom of an American bulldog for 13 years. I have pet sat for cats and dogs for over 15 years. I will take great care of your pets! I am very active and can walk your dog 3 to 4 times per day. I have a small yard with privacy hedges. I can’t wait to care for your pets!

We were so thankful to have Dawn as our Rover! We were really worried about leaving our dog for 2.5 weeks, and she was so calm and reassuring throughout the whole process. She sent us photos every day, and our dog clearly loved his stay with her. Our dog has some reactivity, and so it’s really important for us to work with Rovers that understand his triggers. Dawn was attentive to all the info we provided beforehand and we could tell from the photos during the stay that our dog felt very safe and comfortable with her. We would highly recommend Dawn as a Rover!

Dawn was awesome, and very attentive to the dogs needs. She shared feedback with each visit. She communicated well. The dogs definitely have a new friend and dog walker. We'll definitely be using her again.
Dawn is so nice and my kids enjoyed their long weekend with her! I have two pittie-mix dogs who can be reactive to other dogs, one is super skittish, and the other can have insane separation anxiety…and she took them in and took care of them like her own with no problem. They enjoyed the side yard, sun time and cuddling on the couch with Dawn. Dawn is also very communicative during the stay which helped my anxiety as this was the first time we used an overnight sitter outside my immediate family. We would definitely recommend and use her again!
Dawn is very compassionate and caring even with our dog that is not always a good boy. Would recommend her to anyone. 😊

Schedule
I am working from home and I’m available all day and evening to take care of your pets, feed, walk, and bathe if required. I have a very flexible schedule.

Safety, trust & environment
I can crate your dog if needed but he or she is free to sleep on their bed in any room in my house. Pets are OK on the couch, if that is what you allow at your home. The couch is covered. I have a small yard with privacy hedges. I am close to many parks and trails to walk your dogs, and I’m very familiar with the San Gabriel and Los Angeles area for good places to walk your dogs. I had an American Bulldog for 13 years and cared for him as he aged with medications and treatments. I have cared for senior cats, kittens, and dogs of all ages. I love to run and can keep up with fast dogs. My house is very secure so if I am pet sitting a cat, you can trust that your kitty will be safe.
A typical day
Depending on your requirements, I can take your dog to the park, hiking trails, various paths in my neighborhood or yours. I can play catch with them in my yard. For cats, they may roam around the house. Cats are not allowed outside. They will be secure.

- Let me know any special requirements for your pets. And let me know what areas you would like me to take them walking. There are many parks and paths in my neighborhood. Also let me know if you are OK with them being on the furniture or if you want them to stay off of my furniture or yours. Feeding times and estimated bathroom breaks are helpful to know as well.
