All my jobs are contractor work so I set my own schedule, which means I can generally work around your pets' needs. Saturday mornings I run a couple adult dog training classes, as well as Sunday afternoons, so on those days I can be gone upwards of 4 hours counting commute. Other than that I typically take 1-3 private clients per day during the week for walks, drop-ins or training sessions, but I always prioritize my overnight clients, so I'll take less of those if you need me to be at the house for longer hours.

At your home I follow all rules you as the pet parent give to me. That can include standing outside with them while they do their business, making sure they don’t have access to certain areas of the house, not feeding anything they aren’t supposed to have, and handling them only in ways described by you. I also don’t go into areas of the home where I’m not permitted and I don’t mind homes that have security or nanny cams. I’m also more than happy to provide updates at the frequency requested. At my home, your dog may enjoy its own run with insulated wooden dog house and porch, or (if they’re dog friendly), they may run the full yard with my dogs. I have two corgis and a border collie. At night they’ll be in my bedroom in their own penned off area with access to the outside dog run.

I'll take any and all breeds. Any information regarding behavior issues, health issues, and just general "things to look out for while sitting" would be appreciated though. I want to make sure I'm taking care of a pup as well as I can to the owner's standards!
A typical day
We'll only go where the owner deems it safe (aka, no dog parks if the pup isn't fond of that sort of thing!). Other than walks, we'll try to find things everyone enjoys, whether it's tossing a ball in the back yard or playing tug with a favorite toy!

Pet care experience
I've been an animal lover my entire life, ever since before I can even remember! I always grew up with pets of all kinds, and as soon as I was old enough to work professionally with them I began volunteering at vet clinics and animals shelters. Since then I've managed dog daycares, fostered dogs, served as a professional trainer, and am pet CPR/first aid certified! I've owned a variety of animals myself, as well as worked at a zoo and an aquarium, and I rode horses for many years, so I'm pretty well prepared for any animal care needs! Currently I work with Karma Dog Training as a behavior specialist, trainer, and petsitter.
