“Vicky stepped in on short notice and took such good care of my dog. She was communicative, sent photos and videos, and I couldn’t be more appreciative. Highly recommend working with Vicky!”

“Monica was amazing this whole week! She texted me every time she picked up Theo for a walk and texted me pictures of their walk every day. It was very reassuring to know that he was happy and doing well. She was even kind enough to wipe his paws when it was raining and fed him after the walk. Highly recommend her to anyone who’s looking for a dog walker or someone who truly cares about animals:) Thank you soo much Monica!!!”

“Melanie walked my mini schnauzer on a weekly basis. She was reliable and took care not to tire him out too much as he is a senior dog and had some health issues. I recommend her for your fur baby!”

About: I have a heart for animals and love being with them and taking care of them. It really brings me a lot of joy. I love walking dogs and going on a mini adventure. Playing with them and making sure they have everything they need to keep them happy and healthy. I'm pretty flexible Monday - Saturday for dog walking, dog/cat sitting. Can start around 7am - 9pm most days. I can also do overnights if needed and come back later in the day if needed. I'm reliable and responsible. I will give loving care to your pet just like I would my own dog or cat. I have a heart for animals and they bring me joy. I aim to give that joy right back to them too! I love walking dogs and taking care of fur babies.

“First-class, reliable, great communication, calm, trustworthy, friendly. If we say “Alex” our dog runs to the door. Sometimes it’s like watching a cartoon because our dog is so excited he runs in place.”

About: I've taken care of dogs ever since I was little, from puppies to senior dogs. Family friends, neighbors, and many others have relied on me to take care of their dogs while they're on vacation or gone for an extended period of time. I am available after 4pm on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, before 4pm on Wednesday, and most Saturdays and Sundays. I can walk, play or just hang out with your dogs! I've done several petsitting jobs for my neighbors and family friends where I have stayed at their house. The dog is often most comfortable staying at their own house and by sticking to their routine I have found that they have often adjusted well to me being there.
“Thank you for always spending extra time with Leo. It really means a lot to us parents. Always very communicative. Overall, very glad to have you help us out taking care of our pup.”

About: I grew up with dogs, had family with dogs, and have foster dogs & cats with Pasadena Humane Society for years. I’d love to help you out with your little fur baby, but I’m really in it for the snuggles. I work from home full-time and live by myself, except on the occasional weekends when the kids are around. My schedule is flexible and I can do walks twice a day and give plenty of scritches in between. I’m experienced with cones, medicine, helping older dogs in and out of the car. I am a very gentle alpha, and have never had any trouble establishing a good relationship with a dog.
About: With over 30 years of personal experience caring for my own cats and a history of looking after friends' dogs while they travel, I know exactly how much love, attention, and peace of mind your pets need when you can't be there.Whether it's maintaining your cat's specific daily routine or ensuring your pup gets their necessary exercise and companionship, I treat every pet as if they were my own. You can count on me to provide safe, reliable, and deeply affectionate care. I am a recent retiree and home full-time, which makes me an ideal sitter for kittens and cats, or a walker for puppies, seniors, or dogs needing extra attention. Caring for pets requires maintaining their routines and ensuring a safe environment, whether I am walking them or performing home visits. I tailor my approach around strict safety and clear communication.I send photo updates and message logs to give you peace of mind while you are away.
About: I just love spending time with cats and dogs. I am an active volunteer at a animal shelter. I participated in programs like dog socialization, public training classes and clicker training. I am also a team member of the cat adoption program which tasks include husbandry, socialization, adoption counseling and so on. And I do all of this for fun. Enjoying it 100%. Looking forward to have the chance to meet your furry friends!! Bilingual: English, 普通话 I have a flexible working schedule which can easily accommodate your need. I am available for dog walking and drop-in visit up to 3 times a day as long as I get a request in advance. Safety is the first priority for both of us. I always ask the parents for what is allowed and what is not. For dogs, I give them all my attention during walks (consistently of poop/pee, trash eating, etc.,). And after walks, I always wipe their paws and check for any signs of abnormalities. For cat drop-in visits, I perform husbandry including litter box cleaning and refilling, feeding and socializing if needed. Customization is welcomed. Communication is very important and trust can be built. Let’s make this a great experience.

About: I've had dogs all my life. I started taking care of mine (+feeding, grooming, bathing, training, etc) when I was about 10 years old. I mostly work mid-shifts so I'm available for night stays when needed. Weekend mornings are completely free so early walks. Mondays and Tuesdays are completely free as well. I would prefer to care for your dog at your house because mine isn't fenced in. I will make sure to ask/know about your house ahead of time to do the best for your dog.

“Sara is the best! I love that she is flexible and willing to help expand my husky’s energy. She walked my dog to the point where my dog got home and just sploot. My dog is excited to see her and I highly recommend!”

My schedule is open, every other Saturday I do have to be at the nearly Fire Station due to being a Fire Explorer. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Bradbury
My dog Bodhi took to Sylvia right away...he does not do that with everyone. I handed her the leash and he went off with her with no hesitation...he was very excited. Sylvia has great energy!!! She took a darling picture of Bodhi which tells the minutes and how far he walked...very nice feature. I highly recommend Sylvia and already booked her again.
Vicky instantly won our two pups over. She’s very gentle and loving and our two dogs really enjoyed meeting her. We have two very active pups (Border Collie and Aussie). Our BC has so much fun on his walk with her. He came back very happy and don’t want her to leave. We’re excited to continue to have Vicky come and hangout with our two boys.

I had an amazing experience with Maybrit I was in San Francisco for work and needed someone reliable to take care of my dog, and she went above and beyond. She was flexible with my schedule, made sure my dog got plenty of walks, and sent me updates that gave me peace of mind while I was busy. It’s such a relief to find someone who truly loves and cares for animals. Highly recommend her to anyone who needs a trustworthy and caring dog sitter! 🐾 Corry says Hi!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
