About: Animals have been a part of my life for years, and I genuinely enjoy caring for them and getting to know their individual personalities. I have 10 years of personal experience caring for dogs, including feeding, walking, playtime, maintaining routines, and providing lots of attention and companionship. From 2020–2023, I also regularly cared for my aunt’s service dog whenever she traveled out of town. That experience taught me how important it is to follow an owner’s instructions carefully and respect an animal’s established routine, especially when caring for a working dog. I also have experience with cats! I owned a cat for a year and spent about 10 months helping care for my roommate’s cat, so I’m comfortable with feeding, refreshing water, litter box care, playtime, and giving cats attention while also respecting when they want their own space. As a college student, I have flexibility throughout the week for walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and pet sitting. I’m also available on weekends and can coordinate care around each pet’s established schedule. I understand that pets thrive on consistency, so if your dog expects breakfast at 7 AM or your cat has decided dinner being five minutes late is a personal betrayal, I’ll do my best to keep their normal routine consistent! 🐾 When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat their home, belongings, and pets with the same respect and care I would want someone to show mine. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications if applicable and clearly instructed, playtime, litter boxes, routines, and household rules. I make sure doors, gates, and windows are secure and pay close attention during walks and whenever entering or leaving the home. I never introduce new foods, treats, animals, or activities without the owner’s permission. Unlike other Rover sitters, Hannah actually interacted with my puppy during playtime, didn’t keep him locked in the play pen all day, she was very good about cleaning up after him, and kept my home clean as well. About: I absolutely love animals and truly enjoy taking care of them. I have experience caring for both dogs and cats and have welcomed pets into my home for boarding. I have my own Bichon Frise, a very sweet, friendly and neutered boy who loves other animals. I enjoy taking dogs on walks, playing with them, giving them lots of attention and making sure they feel safe, comfortable and loved while their owners are away. I understand how hard it can be to leave your pet with someone else, so I always treat every pet as if they were my own. I am responsible, patient and attentive to each pet’s individual needs and routine I work part-time as a makeup artist and model, but most of the time I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I usually take my dog for a walk around 8 AM, again around 1 PM, and once more in the evening before bedtime. I love spending time with pets throughout the day, playing with them, giving them attention, and keeping them company. When I’m home, your pet will have plenty of care, companionship and supervision. I have my own friendly Bichon Frise, and he is neutered and very gentle with other animals. We absolutely love Sarah and David! They’ve stayed in our home and watched our senior dog twice now and we feel so lucky to have found them. Our dog has a lot of quirks and a specific routine, including medications that have to be given on schedule. He is also weary of new people, but Sarah and David’s experience and patience with dogs have helped him adjust to them quickly. They’ve been very reliable, communicative, and take great care of our home too. Both times we’ve come back our home has been clean and in great shape.
Elizabeth was a great pet sitter during my 5-day trip to Puerto Rico. She took EXCELLENT care of my two cats while I was away. We were a bit nervous about leaving our baby with someone new, especially while staying in our home, but Deanna was absolutely perfect! She look such excellent care of Pearl and our home was exactly as we left it. Pearl had a great time and we were able to relax and enjoy our vacation.
