I currently work as a part-time retail associate in Eagle Rock, so I will need a minimum of 3-weeks notice for house sitting. Since I grew up here in LA, I am very familiar with local walking paths and parks in Silver Lake, Los Feliz, Atwater Village, and Hancock Park. All the money I make on Rover helps me pay down my graduate student loans. (As of August 2026, I have $8,900 left!)

I'm happy to take your pup on potty breaks, long walks, or simply provide emotional support as they show off their zoomies. Similarly, I understand that some cats require time to trust, while others love playing with new people right away. I’ve taken care of pets for family, friends, and neighbors for years—whether it be aging dogs, bonded cats, or siblings with individual dietary needs. I also have experience teaching basic tricks and assisting with loose leash training. Meet-n-greets are required for all new clients. Joanna was great and super communicative! Harley had a few digestive problems right after I left and Joanna handled it well and kept me updated every step of the way.
Joanna was an amazing pet sitter for my high energy 2 year Pomsky and two in door house cats who Lie we were on vacation. All of the animals really seemed to like her and felt comfortable with her. She sent great pictures and updates all week long. The Pomsky Nova can be a hand full and stubborn with putting her harness on but Joanna handled it well and kept me posted on how she was doing. Joanna also took good care of our apartment while we were gone! Thank you Joanna. !!
Will definitely be rebooking with Joanna! From our first meet and greet with my cat, she was thoughtful and communicative and anticipated questions I hadn't thought to think of. My cat is super social and used to me working from home and giving her company all day long, so when I'm traveling it is such a relief to know that Joanna's working from home too and giving her lots of attention.
Joanna went the extra mile to make sure she understood our pup’s needs, coming over for a meet and greet the day before the scheduled dog sitting. She clearly cares about providing a top notch service and we will certainly use her for dog sitting again
