About: Animals have been a part of my life for years, and I genuinely enjoy caring for them and getting to know their individual personalities. I have 10 years of personal experience caring for dogs, including feeding, walking, playtime, maintaining routines, and providing lots of attention and companionship. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications if applicable and clearly instructed, playtime, litter boxes, routines, and household rules. I make sure doors, gates, and windows are secure and pay close attention during walks and whenever entering or leaving the home. I never introduce new foods, treats, animals, or activities without the owner’s permission. About: New York transplant who just moved to the greater L.A. area. I, along with the rest of my roommates, am a young professional and have always had an immense love of dogs. I live in a new, dog-friendly building with my girlfriend and another dog-owing couple in which the majority of the other residents are other young professionals who own dogs as well. About: I'm new to Rover, but very much not new to pets! I've volunteered with my local Humane Society, as well as worked for an overnight kennel service. In both of those situations, I was largely placed with dogs - giving them playtime, food, treats, and oral medication - although we also served cats. While kennels are an option, it's better to keep a pet in their own home whenever possible. Which is where I come in! I'm currently WFH so my schedule is flexible at the moment. [WALKS] I'm able to give walks in my service area from roughly 9am to 6pm. I can comfortably take up to 3 small dogs at a time, or two medium sized dogs. I'm open to walking large breeds (Labrador sized or bigger) if they are solo. If you have mixed sizes, please reach out and we'll talk about it. [HOME SITS] If your pet needs medication or walks either very early or very late, I recommend booking an overnight. I'm the farthest thing from a party animal and will guaranteed be indoors with your pet from 8pm to 7am. During the day, I will most likely be working (home office space a huge plus!) or stepping out for a few hours to run personal errands. If I have late night plans for any reason, I will clear it with you ahead of time. Will provide at least one update per day during my visit, including photos. We can also go over emergency plans and vet contact info during the meet-up.

We absolutely love Sarah and David! They’ve stayed in our home and watched our senior dog twice now and we feel so lucky to have found them. Our dog has a lot of quirks and a specific routine, including medications that have to be given on schedule. He is also weary of new people, but Sarah and David’s experience and patience with dogs have helped him adjust to them quickly. They’ve been very reliable, communicative, and take great care of our home too. Both times we’ve come back our home has been clean and in great shape.
We were a bit nervous about leaving our baby with someone new, especially while staying in our home, but Deanna was absolutely perfect!
