I’ve cared for my own pets as well as pets belonging to family, friends, and neighbors, and I’m comfortable with animals of different sizes, personalities, and temperament. For dog walks, I’ll keep your dog safely leashed and pay close attention to our surroundings throughout the walk. I’ll follow any instructions you provide regarding their usual route, behavior around other dogs or people, and anything else I should be aware of to keep them safe and comfortable. For drop-in visits, I’ll check on your pet and take care of their needs according to your instructions, including feeding, refreshing their water, potty breaks, cleaning up after them, and giving them attention and playtime. I’ll also keep you updated on how your pet is doing so you can have peace of mind while they’re in my care.

When I got back, Piper was so calm, relaxed, and clearly felt safe the entire time. That honestly says everything. About: I Volunteer at an animal shelter, I’ve worked at adoption events for local rescues, I’m patient with any animal, including difficult ones, I have a boxer of my own so I understand Care, needs, playtime, baths, food, water, medications for older dogs. I currently work 2 jobs one full time & part time. I work at a fast food place and as a cleaner for a boxing gym. I also go on runs, coffee shops, dog parks. Elizabeth was a great pet sitter during my 5-day trip to Puerto Rico. She took EXCELLENT care of my two cats while I was away. Communication was great, followed instructions extremely well, and ran into 0 issues while I was away. Not to mention, the house was nice and clean just like I left it. Lindsey is fantastic! She keeps me updated and sends pics while I’m gone, which I really appreciate. Most importantly, my guy loves spending time with Lindsey. She keeps up with his energy and prioritizes play and walks which is great because he’s always tuckered out when I get home. She treats my dog like he is her own and gives him all the love and care. I have two senior dogs who require special care, and they both have very different needs. Vivian was incredibly attentive, caring, and patient with both of them. She even administered medication to one of my dogs and hand-fed both of them when needed. This was my first time using a dog sitter, so I was definitely nervous and worried about leaving them. Jovi can be quite particular with whom he is comfortable with, so it was a great sign that he did not bark at Polli at our meet and greet. When she arrived for sitting, he was just fine with her in the apartment and didn't try to bark at her to leave. It is always nice to feel your dog is comfortable when leaving! I was gone for a week and when I got home Jovi was clearly well cared for. Polli did a great job getting new pony tails for him so he could see, the house was clean, and Jovi was in good spirits!
