About: I started dog walking and doing cat play dates out of high school 11 years ago and loved it! I grew up with two large dogs and two cats in Portland, Oregon. Calm or animated, tall and long, short and stout, I take care of dogs & cats with all types of personalities, needs, and routines. I'll walk the greenest routes in the area and cross the streets at the safest points. I walk at a steady pace and can check in with you and your pet during the walk or pet sit. We can play games or lounge around if that's more their style. I'll tend to your pet's grooming, diet, activity, and behavior specificities as well as any household tasks that accompany the visit.

About: I’ve always lived with cats, my old roommate had a golden retriever and I would watch him all of the time. I’ve also dog sat for different friends over the years and love all furry friends. I’m currently working part time but completely open Friday through Sunday. I have plenty of time after work to check on fur babies as well. Since I have my own cat, I won’t be watching any animals in my own apartment but would always be very respectful coming into your home.

About: I have been caring for animals since I got my first dog when I was 6 and began pet sitting for family, friends, and neighbors when I was 11. I’ve worked with dogs of all shapes and sizes and needs. I have a cat of my own, as well. Previously, I worked at a nature museum and reptile pet store which has given me experience working with pets of all kinds such as guinea pigs, bearded dragons, snakes, and more. I can't wait to meet your pet! I recently completed a service year program in Los Angeles and am looking for part time or full time work. This means that my schedule is flexible and can accommodate whatever times work best for you and your pet. I live in DTLA and have easy access to the Metro and the interstate! I will communicate with the pet owner to make sure I understand the pet's needs and personality in order to provide the best care possible. I make sure to follow the schedule decided with the pet owner (eg usual time for meals and walks) to minimize any disruption to the pet's regular day with the owner.

Maggie has been an amazing weekly walker for Riggy! Riggy gets so excited every time she sees her, which says everything. She handles Riggy’s rambunctious energy like a pro (even when she has to wrestle with the harness because Riggy insists on trying to bite it when it gets put on her 😂). Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
