About: I'm super passionate about giving animals the TLC they deserve. With my experience with dog walking, general animal care, and overnight pet sitting, I've got a solid understanding of what it takes to make pets feel safe and happy. I'm all about providing a fun, comfortable, and loving environment for your fur babies, and I'm happy to share more about my experience if needed At the moment, the animals in my household are my parents pets, so my current animal care is only needed when asked. I have cared for many animals throughout my life. I have been the individual that my friends and family recommend to their friends and family for pet care for many years. I have experience with dogs, cats, fish, reptiles, and rodents. I have nothing but love and respect for animals. I’m new to this service but I’m very much looking forward to meeting you and your animal friends!
“Always on time, follows instructions, and is extra observant about any changes to my dog’s behavior. For example, one time he pointed out that my dog was straining to poo and had constipation.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for over 6 years. At some point in my life I wanted to become a veterinarian. I walk, feed and bathe pets upon request. I’m organized and dedicated. I am a full-time student- I go to school at night. I live in the arts district. I offer availability Monday to Sunday from 6am to7pm. Your pet is welcome to be anywhere in my apartment. Your pets safety always comes first. I love updating the owners about their pets with pictures.
About: Hi friends! ☀️ A little about me: I’m Saige! I live in LA with my partner and our pets 🐶🐱 I’m the type of gal to say hi to every dog on the street and to pspspspspss at every cat I see. Animals are also better than humans, sorry. My experience: I’ve taken care of dogs my entire life, but have been lucky enough to experience being a cat parent in adulthood. I currently have one senior dog and one senior cat (with big personalities) 🤣 My partner and I had two senior cats previously that have since passed. All of our sweet babies were adopted as seniors and I have been their caretakers through all of their illnesses. So I have experience administering medicine and caring for multiple illnesses. I also previously worked at a pet store and have extensive knowledge of pet products. I’m self employed with my own business, where I work remotely and make my own hours, so my schedule is completely open. I do travel frequently, but give plenty of notice for when I’ll be away :) Your trust and comfort is my top priority. As someone who consistently uses pet sitters, I know how it feels to be away and worried about your fur baby. So constant communication and reassurance is guaranteed. I’m happy to meet new clients beforehand as well, to make pet parents more comfortable. Whatever you need, just let me know :)
“Stephanie went above and beyond! She stopped by the night before our appt. for a meet and greet and to get my keys. She was so sweet and really cool to talk with. The next day she showed right up on time and took my pupper for a better walk than I even give him. She sent lots of pics and communication and she even stayed way longer than she had to. Overall it was a great experience and I will definitely book again soon. I wish there was some sort of tipping option on the app because she seriously deserves it. Thanks again, mama!”

“Julia was great with our dog Gene this week when she needed a few walks. She took extra time to walk her and play with her outside and even gave some attention to our cats! I could tell from the pictures that our doggie just loved her. I definitely recommend Julia and hope to get to have her walk Gene again soon!”

About: I am happy to walk your pup, take them to the local dog park, and play while you are away. I have owned dogs since I was ten and currently have an adorable seven pound Yorkie who loves other dogs. I have experience with large dogs (owned two black labs) and small dogs alike. I live in a dog friendly apartment building in Little Tokyo, and am happy to send photos/videos of your pup while you're away. I am also experienced in giving medications if need be, and will work to accommodate any other needs, so feel free to reach out with questions. I work from home full-time so your dog will never be alone for very long, and I can accommodate just about any bathroom schedule they'll need. I only board one family at a time, but am willing to take multiple dogs from the same family! I am also very hygienic, smoke free, and have no children or roommates. Plenty of space in the apartment for your dog to stretch out, play, and relax. I work from home and have plenty of time to devote to your pets while you are away. About: Hello and welcome to my Rover profile. A pup magnet! What started as a genuine love for dogs of all shapes and sizes has transformed into 5 years of experience dog walking and dog sitting. I love giving dogs attention, spending quality time with them whether walking or cuddling-I will treat your dog as if they are my family. You can expect that I am time efficient, responsible, will follow house rules, and am always honest with my clients. I used to have 2 dogs (Beagle and Poodle) so I totally understand how overwhelming it can be sometimes to care for them with little to no help. Since I no longer have any pets of my own, but I am such a huge lover of animals, I'm happy to offer my services and expertise with animals for other people. Most importantly, I will make sure you are comfortable and adequately updated on our experience, knowing they are in good hands. Communication is key in my book. I'd love to hear from you and can't wait to meet my new friend!
“Karolina was right on time for Ralphie’s 30 minute walk! And got him back on the dot. He did super well and got some of his zoomies out. Thanks so much!”

About: I have been caring for animals since I got my first dog when I was 6 and began pet sitting for family, friends, and neighbors when I was 11. I’ve worked with dogs of all shapes and sizes and needs. I have a cat of my own, as well. Previously, I worked at a nature museum and reptile pet store which has given me experience working with pets of all kinds such as guinea pigs, bearded dragons, snakes, and more. I can't wait to meet your pet! I recently completed a service year program in Los Angeles and am looking for part time or full time work. This means that my schedule is flexible and can accommodate whatever times work best for you and your pet. I live in DTLA and have easy access to the Metro and the interstate! I will communicate with the pet owner to make sure I understand the pet's needs and personality in order to provide the best care possible. I make sure to follow the schedule decided with the pet owner (eg usual time for meals and walks) to minimize any disruption to the pet's regular day with the owner.
“This was my first time using Rover, and I had the pleasure of meeting Wanyao during my search. I couldn't be happier! She was absolutely wonderful with our four-legged son. He was so happy to go with her and had the biggest smile when he got home! Wanyao, thank you so much for being so sweet!”

“Jenny was extremely communicative and made sure Marta was well taken care of during my absence. Happy to know Marta will be in loving hands whenever Jenny is with her!”
“Mark is incredibly thoughtful, punctual, and communicative. He let us know when he was on the way to our place and gave comprehensive report cards for Nori. We connected early so Nori would be able to get to know him. He was thinking of logistics and made things incredibly smooth. We will be booking again without hesitation”

About: I've always loved pets and have much experience pet sitting for friends and family. My mother takes in cats she finds around her area and neuter and stays them. I go over and help her when I can. She also owns 2 energetic huskies and I walk and play and groom them when I visit. My friends/neighbors around my complex trust me with their keys to feed their cats at their specific times and change their litter when they are out of town. And I am loving cat owner, unfortunately no dogs since one of my cats got so temperamental when I fostered one for a month. I'm currently working part-time remotely so I have nearly open availability to help, and assist fellow pet owners so they can work or travel with peace of mind. Although I am a pet owner I know that we all care/feed our pets differently. I make sure to follow any rules or guidelines owners mention to make sure your pet is taken care of the way you'd like.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Los Angeles
Destiny is always great to work with. She took care of our dogs over two days with multiple drop-in visits and walks, and consistently sent photos and recaps after each one. She even brought in some deliveries that had been left at our front door. We highly recommend her.

Saige was absolutely amazing with Snooki! From the very beginning, she was kind, communicative, and incredibly thoughtful. She kept me updated throughout the stay with messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. She genuinely cares so much for our fury babies. Pookie looked happy, comfortable, and well cared for, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Saige is reliable, sweet, and goes above and beyond to make both pets and their owners feel at ease. I would absolutely trust her with Snooki again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will care for their babies. Thank you so much, Saige. We appreciate you more than you know!

Chao is great with Miko! My dog is pretty shy and is scared of strangers at first. Chao hung out with him and gave him treats until he warmed up to her. Chao is great at following instructions and very sweet to Miko. Miko gets very excited to see her now. I like Chao a lot and will continue to use her!

Maggie has been an amazing weekly walker for Riggy! Riggy gets so excited every time she sees her, which says everything. She handles Riggy’s rambunctious energy like a pro (even when she has to wrestle with the harness because Riggy insists on trying to bite it when it gets put on her 😂). Maggie always makes sure Riggy has water during her walks and even refills her water bowl afterward, which we really appreciate. She’s incredibly easy to schedule with, reliable, and it’s obvious she genuinely loves animals. Most importantly, we completely trust Maggie and know Riggy is in the best hands whenever they’re together. That’s exactly why she’s become our number one go-to walker. We couldn’t recommend her more highly!

Lauren was wonderful! She was on time and so friendly, and she kept me updated throughout with messages and photos. I especially appreciated how careful she was in the heat, making sure my dog stayed safe and comfortable. I never had to worry with her on walks. Highly recommend, and I'll definitely book again!

It’s been several weeks of using Hannah and she’s great! We pretty much trusted her after our first meet & greet to enter and leave our home unsupervised. Friendly, pleasant, and attentive to instructions we had, is reliable and communicative. Most important, our dog liked her right away, and she’s been posting adorable pics every time she walks him. He’s a large breed and strong and occasionally reactive to other dogs, but Hannah is able to manage him. We are so appreciative!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
