About: Hello! I lived in a dog and cat home much of my life. Professionally I’ve volunteered at animal shelters in Long Beach and Seal Beach mostly feeding and cleaning the furries. I also have experience walking and boarding small to medium dogs and cats. Once upon a time I worked for Wag! coordinating pet sitting and walks. And I also have experience with senior pets and administering medication. My home is currently pet free but my kitty and I were great pals for a good 15 years. I’m super active so let me know how your pet loves to play and we will play! I am available full time and can be flexible. Depending locations I am okay with night walks and pet care. I enjoy long walks and well as short walks. I am comfortable adjusting as needed. Some pets require special care. I am comfortable administering medication with instructions, following meal routines, and clean up. I will ask questions if anything is unclear.

I have lovingly cared for my own dogs since they were puppies—now aged 11 and 7 years old—so I am well-versed in the nuances of aging pets and their specific care requirements. My expertise extends beyond just dog care, as I have successfully integrated multiple pets, including our cat, into a harmonious household. My background also includes hands-on experience with mobility-impaired dogs, giving me valuable insights into the specialized care these wonderful companions need. I don’t just pet sit; I provide compassionate, understanding care that comes from years of personal pet parenting. My approach is rooted in patience, knowledge, and genuine love for animals, ensuring that each pet receives individualized attention that considers their age, mobility, and personal comfort. I have flexible availability on every day of the week. On these days, I can offer morning, afternoon, and/or evening walks or drop-ins. I can more or less dictate my schedule. My dogs have a fenced-in yard, but they’re usually supervised even there. They’re never off-leash unless it’s a designated off-leash area that I have deemed safe. My cat is entirely indoors. I’m not comfortable walking dogs without their leashes and would always follow the instructions provided by dog owners and keep them informed about their dogs’ well-being. As for cats, I wouldn’t let them out at all and would strictly adhere to the instructions left by cat owners and keep the owners updated on their cats’ well-being.
