I have flexible availability for drop-ins, house sitting for long periods. Most of my time is spent caring for your fur baby making sure they are comfy in your absence. In client homes, I follow all routines, feeding, and medication instructions with care and precision. I’m experienced with shy pets, seniors, and animals needing extra patience. About: Initially, I started dog sitting in 2017 for mostly my friends who were dog moms and dads. Slowly, (w/ permission of course), my clientele started to grow as my friends were recommending me to other folks they knew. It worked out well since I didn’t have my own pup though I had always wanted to have my own pup. I haven’t made the step to fully commit to a long term furry partner of my own so instead (at least for the time being), I’ve committed to taking care of your pup with the utmost care and consideration. I work part time so I’m available and usually at home for a large part of my week. When I am at work, I’m away from home for five hours only. One day out of the week, I work an eight hour shift. Outside of work, I love grocery shopping, going to the park, hiking, visiting friends, & hanging out w/ my partner. Your pup would be involved in all activities. :) I have a fenced yard that only I and my neighbor have access to. I also live a five minute walk to a dog and kid friendly neighborhood park. I would walk your pup 2-3 times daily. I love taking walks so your pup will definitely get some exercise. Play time is a must. I have puzzle toys, chew toys and squeaky toys for your pup to enjoy. Your pup is allowed to be on furniture and my bed (as long as they’ve had a bath) otherwise most do prefer their own bed and space. Food and water are replenished daily and medication is given if needed. Once its bed time, I make sure that your pup is close and comfortable.

About: Growing up I have had a total of 9 dogs and all of them stole a piece of my heart. I would love to the opportunity to spend time with your dog because they sincerely make me happy. I work from home and have a 1 bedroom apartment in Highland park with an enclosed grassy area and a few nearby parks. A day with me would probably involve working from home, going to the park, running errands around town, hanging out at home or all of the above. I will care for your fur baby like I would my own, with lots of love. Since I work from home with a flexible schedule, pet care is integrated seamlessly into my day, allowing me to give dogs the attention and care they need. I can easily fit in multiple walks, play sessions, and bathroom breaks throughout the day, making sure their routine stays consistent. Being home all day means I’m always nearby to offer companionship, comfort, and attention, so they’ll never feel alone. This flexibility also lets me closely monitor their behavior and adjust care as needed, whether they’re feeling energetic and ready for play or need some downtime to rest. Plus, since I'm always around, I can respond quickly to any needs or changes that arise, ensuring they feel safe and cared for at all times. I live in a one-bedroom cozy apartment with my small dog Scruff. We have a fenced in grass area for potty breaks. :) I can crate your dog if needed as well.

About: Hello! In 2017 I met my first friendly street cat which sent me on a journey from “strict dog person” to “cat lady.” I have since adopted two cats, Bean and Raisin, and fostered more than a dozen adult cats and kittens. I also work closely with an organization doing TNR in my community--trapping neighborhood cats and spay/neutering them. I have a 2nd bedroom that I use as both my office and cat zone with toys if your cat needs his/her own space but am also a friendly home for a rambunctious cat. Bean is very passive and chill, while Raisin just wants to make friends and play. I’m a trusted cat mom and foster mom and will cuddle your fur babies just like you would if you were home with them! I know how important it is to a pet parent's peace of mind while away from their animal to know how they're doing so I always make sure I send pictures and regular updates. Please note that due to my cats, I only board other cats in my home—no dogs. And I only board one client at a time. Rover doesn't give the opportunity to specify this. I can do drop ins for other animals in your home no problem! I work from home and can occasionally have period of hiatus from work with lots of free time to dedicate to doing drop ins and being there for any boarding guests. I am very strict about indoors only for cats given my history with TNR. Also because I'm an experienced trapper, if somehow your cat escapes my care, I have the skills and equipment and knowledge to get them back for you. I don't leave boarding guests alone with my cats without supervision, even when sleeping, unless enough time has passed that I can trust them all together.

About: Hi!! My name is Sofia :) I have been pet sitting for the past 8 years and I absolutely love it!!!!!! I've had 2 dogs named Rusty (Golden retriever) and Toby (Dachshund & Jack Russel mix) that I completely loved and adored. I've also had up to 4 hamsters and 6 fish. I currently have my cat who is my best friend named Mozzarella! Growing up with them as well as caring for my many many other pets, I have great knowledge in pet care and behavior. I also used to attend camp at, as well as volunteered for, the Kentucky Humane Society in Louisville, Kentucky. I learned about pet behavior, administering medicine, potty training, behavior training, and grooming. I am an athlete so I am very active and will walk your dog for as long as wanted and can handle large dogs! I have been and always will be an animal lover and I can't wait to get to know your adorable friends! I am currently a college student at Oberlin College, but my schedule is very flexible! I am available as early as needed before 8:30am everyday and I am completely free every night after 7pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and then after 12pm on Mondays and Fridays! There are many gaps in my schedule between 9am to 7pm where I can come to walk and feed pets for at least 30 minutes to 2 hours, and I'm flexible to changing times during weekdays :). All of my weekends are very open and flexible. Since I am on campus and live with roommates, I unfortunately cannot bring pets into my home but I do have a car so I am able to travel anywhere needed! Taking care of your pet will always be my top priority and will be in amazing hands! :) Your pets safety, love, and care is my #1 priority!! I am very good at sending updates and pictures throughout the day and will not hesitant to communicate when needed. I have taken care of many houses and pets and I am more than happy to share the contacts of those who I have worked for in the past :) I have had repeated visits for many pets I've cared for and can assure that your pet will be taken care of as if they were my own!!
