“Alexandra is great dog walker, I’m so glad we found her. We recently adopted a shelter dog for my MIL who was an owner surrender, so we wanted her to have a little extra love. She and Alexandra became fast friends😊”

“My fear reactive senior chi-terrier mix met Lori (out of the house) and was like, oh hi, like they'd known each other for years. And when we returned to the house my year old maltipoo who usually barks at everyone was also like, oh hi. Will this always be the case everytime with every dog or even everytime with my dogs - I cannot guarantee that - but I attributed this first calm meet and great behavior to Lori's kind, calm, dog-lover vibe. :)”

“Tracey was great! The key I left was not working causing the scheduled walk time to go over the scheduled 30 min. She didn’t leave until Hud was still taken care of. Thank you!”

About: Hi, I'm Izzy, a life long dog lover. I was lucky enough to grow up with two chocolate labs, Charlie Brown and Hodgepodge and am currently raising Kayla, a senior rescue dog. Kayla came into my life reactive and anxious, but I have proudly helped her grow into a relaxed and confident dog who can play nicely with other dogs. I have years of part time dog walking under my belt and can work with dogs of all sizes, ages and temperaments. I'm active and energetic so ready to take your dog on long walks through parks and hilly streets! My schedule is super flexible so I'm happy to work around you and your desired walk times. I can also stay over at your place for overnight dog sitting. I am organized, bright and detail oriented, so if you give me instructions for care in your home, I'm on it. I have experience with senior dogs (administering pills, etc), reactive dogs, and puppies. Above all, I am clean, caring and respectful to all people and animals!
“She did an amazing job! Super reliable, communicative, and took great care of my dog. I felt totally at ease knowing my pup was in good hands. Highly recommend!”

“Kenya is amazing! She is extremely patient with all 3 of my dogs, each with very different personalities. My 2 younger pups are anxious and skiddish with new people yet they were very receptive with her. She allowed them to go to her somehow managed to keep them calm. Will definitely be booking her for housesitting as I know they will be in good hands!”

“Sofia is amazing with my pup, Keaton — she nurtures his natural curiosity and indulges his love of ripping napkins for fun. He loves her and I love hearing about and seeing pictures of their adventures together around the neighborhood. She’s the best!!!”

About: Hi, I’ve grown up around dogs and cats and have experience walking, feeding, cleaning up after them, and caring for them responsibly. I always make sure pets are safe, comfortable, and well looked after. I am currently attending continuation school, so I have flexible hours and availability throughout the week for dog walking, check-ins, feeding, pet-sitting and pet care. I make sure pets are cared for by following their usual routine and what the owner’s instructions are. In a client’s home, I can provide feeding, walks, playtime, check-ins, companionship, pet-sitting and cleaning up after pets while respecting instructions.

About: Initially, I started dog sitting in 2017 for mostly my friends who were dog moms and dads. Slowly, (w/ permission of course), my clientele started to grow as my friends were recommending me to other folks they knew. It worked out well since I didn’t have my own pup though I had always wanted to have my own pup. I haven’t made the step to fully commit to a long term furry partner of my own so instead (at least for the time being), I’ve committed to taking care of your pup with the utmost care and consideration. I work part time so I’m available and usually at home for a large part of my week. When I am at work, I’m away from home for five hours only. One day out of the week, I work an eight hour shift. Outside of work, I love grocery shopping, going to the park, hiking, visiting friends, & hanging out w/ my partner. Your pup would be involved in all activities. :) I have a fenced yard that only I and my neighbor have access to. I also live a five minute walk to a dog and kid friendly neighborhood park. I would walk your pup 2-3 times daily. I love taking walks so your pup will definitely get some exercise. Play time is a must. I have puzzle toys, chew toys and squeaky toys for your pup to enjoy. Your pup is allowed to be on furniture and my bed (as long as they’ve had a bath) otherwise most do prefer their own bed and space. Food and water are replenished daily and medication is given if needed. Once its bed time, I make sure that your pup is close and comfortable.
“Will is amazing! I couldn't recommend him more. Great at communication. Takes initiative and asks the right questions. Sam, my dog who is a large dog took to him straight away. I received updates and great feedback. Thank you!”

About: Hello! I’ve been in the dog walking field / pet care for over a decade (new to Rover app) during my time living in nyc (offering services to clients under my own co. Zen Shepherd Nyc) and now recently acquainting myself with the LA pet life since moving here recently. I work well with dogs of all ages and love to spend time with them more than humans in general. People say I tend to have a calming effect on animals, and cats are drawn to me like magnets for some reason! I live in highland park and love being in nature and exploring all the urban wildlife / parks in the area. I am also a yoga instructor, artist, astrologer, book seller and somatic therapist. I work from home most of the time so boarding / pet sitting at my place is very convenient (and fun) for me! I can’t emphasize how much I love being in the presence of animals beyond all else including most humans. They are the real energy workers on this planet. I work mostly from home and have flexible hours so I can easily fit pet care and walks into my days on a weekly basis. I have a very pet friendly apartment complex, which is gated and walking distance to some great hikes, a lovely park and dog park! I am a quiet and respectful house guest, have house/pet sit in various homes in nyc and La for over a decade now.

About: I have experience with all kinds of pets. I grew up with a big dog, so I have experience walking, feeding, and playing with sizable dogs. My childhood dog was well trained, so I’m used to using commands with dogs. I’ve previously pet-sit for small dogs as well over a range of ages. Although I haven’t had a dog of my own for several years, many people in my life have dogs so they’re still a part of my life. I currently have a cat, so I am also very familiar with cat care. I just love all kinds of pets! I currently work from home as a freelance artist, so my schedule is very open and I have plenty of time to care for and play with pets! I have experience with animals of all sizes so I feel confident in my ability to wrangle any pups. I also have experience crating small dogs.

Daniel was absolutely great with my corgi, Ham. He was able to help walk her during full day exams I had. My dog isn’t the greatest at walking as she gets over stimulated lol. Daniel was really flexible and adapted to play fetch with her indoors so she could get her energy out. Ham looks forward to seeing him again soon :)

Holly has been an awesome caretaker for my 8 month old dog Asa. She is patient, attentive, and caring. Her Rover cards are incredibly helpful, and I can tell she is really focused on taking care of Asa, training him, and making sure he has a nice fulfilling mid-day walk. She is very knowledgeable in terms of training techniques and also values building a meaningful bond with Asa. Definitely would recommend her to care for your pup!

Sofia has not known Ollie that long. but he is very comfortable with her. She listens to his over anxious human (me) and she is attentive, conscientious. calm, and observant to his need for structure. . Its such a relief to have my boy in tbe hands of someone who respects his terrier nature and little big dog attitude. She will be a great doctor!
I have a large breed dog, and I really appreciate how Olga consistently gets Dudley out for at least a 1.5 mile walk (60 min) during each of her visits. It helps with his energy and anxiety to get solid walks in. We also have to pup proof the gate since he throws his body against it to get out. Olga understands this and has had to problem solve on the fly. We will continue to work with Olga as the summer approaches.

I was in need of a last minute dog walker and Angela truly saved the day. She was responsive, arrived on time, and was kind and communicative through out the process. She also sent photos which I appreciated. I appreciated her flexibility and reliability and would hire her again!
