“Kathy is wonderful! She’s kind, friendly, and incredibly skilled and focus with our fur bebe, Pumpkin. He’s quite shy, and she takes her time to get to know him and build trust. We look forward to more doggo care with Kathy!”

“Kim is THE BEST! She house sat and took care of our dog Lila (120 lbs) and was beyond what we had hoped for. She sent pictures and updates multiple times every day and our shy girl absolutely loved her. We will absolutely be using her again in the future. Cannot recommend her enough”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter than Avery! She took incredible care of both our dogs and our home while we were away. We came back to a clean, organized house that was above and beyond what we expected, and our pups were clearly happy, relaxed, and well-loved. Avery kept us updated with lots of great photos and messages, which gave us so much peace of mind. We would not hesitate to use her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, responsible, and genuinely caring.”

“Emilie is so kind and gentle with my pup. She’s also very conscientious, always confirming the appointments and showing up on time. I will definitely use her again in the future.”

“Excellent! She took care of my puppy like it was her own daughter, taught her new tricks and games and now she loves her more than me LOL! If you want to book a sitter or someone to watch your pet, look no further!”

About: If you’re looking for someone who absolutely adores animals AND is responsible/ reliable then I am your gal! I have a profound love and respect for any animal and would love to share my services/experience with you! I’ve been surrounded by animals since I was in diapers and have developed such a deep respect and love for any pet I’ve come across. I’ve had cats, dogs, birds, hamsters, fish, you name it! I’ve raised the majority of them from their baby stage such as their puppy/kitten stage. I also have had the pleasure of giving them a beautiful life and led them into their senior stage. I also volunteer at cat shelters and have pet sat for friends and family members. I make it a priority to provide a safe and welcoming environment so any pet under my care can feel comfortable with me. I also love to play for whatever time your pet needs and give joy to every pet under my care. My past clients would describe me as very reliable, patient, warm, and very flexible and understanding of certain needs your pet may have. I understand every furry friend is unique and different from one another so any accommodation or request you may have, I am more than open to adjusting! I currently have three of my own. I have a husky, shih tzu and a Siamese cat! So I have a very broad experience with different sized pets and I’ve enjoyed every second of it. I have a very open and flexible schedule and I would love to provide my services to you! As I work with the local district, I have returned back to work for the fall semester. However, my work day ends at 3pm! So it still allows me to have a very open/flexible schedule. I can do weekdays after 3pm and weekends including holidays! I’m available from early noon to late at night. Weekends include anytime after 6pm. I have a gated porch with lots of room for play and a quiet calm neighborhood for long walks and quality time with your pet. I can also administer medication and crate or provide any instructions left by the owner.

“Anna was wonderful with our dog! We were so happy to have her house and dog sitting! I only wish she was available for our next trip! We will call on her every time we need anything done for our dog!”

“William went above and beyond taking care of Hazel while we were out of the country for a week. He kept us posted with regular updates and followed our instructions to a T. Hazel is a relatively high-maintenance dog and William followed our instructions carefully during his time with her. He took her on neighborhood hikes to keep her active and sent us daily pics to keep us at ease that she was being well taken care of. Responsible and reliable, I highly recommend William for dog sitting / house sitting.”

“Jenna is extremely reliable and responsive. She took amazing care of my senior cat, Kobe, who has many special needs (including administering a kitty asthma inhaler) and is a semi-disabled kitty. When she visited, I could see how much she cared about ensuring Kobe would have the best support while I was out. She sent me daily detailed updates (with his cutest photos), and I was fully relaxed knowing he was in great hands. All photos I received showed Kobe looking comfortable and relaxed (even cuddling up on the couch). She's very organized and I even returned to a cleaner apartment than I had left. Thank you, Jenna!”

“Matthew was so amazing and sweet with Hammer and Violet! He sent daily photos and updates while we were away. We felt extremely comfortable having him in our home and he took excellent care of our pups. Thank you Matt!”
About: I'm fortunate to have cared for animals since childhood and find true joy in treating others pets as my own. Family, friends and neighbors have relied on my consistency, responsibility and compassion when they need someone to look after their babies. I am very comfortable with multiple animals, senior care and challenging personalities. I am able to remain calm in chaos and understand the importance of communication. My three-year old German Shepherd mix, Pharaoh, keeps me on my toes and engaged with the latest in pet parent world! Currently in between jobs which allows me to be flexible depending on the needs of the client and their pets. While I do have my own boy dog, Pharaoh, our routine can be adjusted without issue. I will follow the exact instructions needed and am very communicative in terms of sending photos, videos and ensuring there are no disruptions to a pets routine. I have a deep understanding of how important consistency is to building trust with an animal and will do everything required to make sure both the client and their baby feel safe and at peace.
“Sorta want to keep Naomi all to ourselves, but she deserves the praise and then some! Naomi watched our beautiful epileptic pup Clementine while we were away for almost two weeks. While we were away she not only dealt with one of Clementine's seizures like a pro, but also dealt with our gas going out, various workers doing construction as well as our gardeners and cleaners. In every occasion she dealt with everything perfectly; reaching out when she needed to, but largely dealing with all the small issues without disturbing our vacation. She also takes amazing photos and was even nice enough to buy Clemmy little booties so she wouldn't slip on the stairs. It's so nice to be able to go away and actually relax knowing that both our dog and our home are in good hands. She's definitely part of the family now.”

“Amanda was wonderful! She stayed with our cat Seth and took great care of him and the house. We were a bit nervous since it was our first time leaving him since adopting him, but she went out of her way to send photos while we were gone and Seth clearly loved her. The house was spotless when we returned. Trust Amanda with your home & pets!”

“Karli watched our puppy for the weekend. It’s the first time we had left her with a new person and she did phenomenal. She stayed at our home and left the house in perfect condition. She was responsive, friendly, responsible, and most importantly our puppy loved her. Highly recommend, thanks Karli!”

“Courtney was a fantastic cat sitter. She took wonderful care of her and handled Gaia’s asthma medication with so much patience and confidence, even during those first few days when it can be a bit tricky. It was such a relief knowing Gaia was in calm, capable hands. I’m really grateful for the care and attention Courtney gave her, and I’d happily recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate sitter.”

“This is the second time I've hired Kathleen to look after my dogs and my house. She has always been incredibly responsive and responsible. She consistently goes above and beyond both with my dogs (even hand feeds my spoiled little one when she's being stubborn) and my house (there was a leak Kathleen went out of her way to try and diagnose, she keeps my plants alive and happy, and my house spotless). I trust her completely and all my animals love her. She sends frequent updates with cute pics, and you can tell she loves all living things. My dogs love her right back and appreciate having a snuggle buddy. She's absolutely wonderful!”
Highland Park pet parents share their Rover experiences
Avery is a wonderful dog sitter, it was a very reassuring knowing our old boy Kahu was in such good hands while we were in Japan. She sent us lots of photos and updates and was very observant of Kahu's needs, noticing he had an issue with his paw and nail which she treated. She looked after our house too. We're so glad to have found a dog sitter we trust so much!

Patrick stayed with our dog and cats for about a week and we've never felt so at ease on a trip knowing they were with him. He was always checking in and sending us photos and you can tell he truly enjoys spending time with animals and cares for them. It was also our dog's birthday and he made sure she got a special walk and treats which was very sweet! Thank you so much again Patrick!!!

Wow! Cannot recommend Hilary enough. She housesat our pup for several days on short notice, even extending her stay when our plans changed last-minute. She communicated clearly throughout the trip, and even left our place cleaner than she found it. Will 100% be rebooking Hilary in the future, and our pup, Brock, wholeheartedly agrees! Brock is an anxious boy but took a liking to Hilary immediately If you’re looking for someone you can trust with your pet in your home, you cannot go wrong with Hilary!

Just came back to a very happy dog and clean home! Corrine/Thorn was a wonderful communicator and took care of Fred excellently (including an outing to a dogs birthday party that Fred loved). We’d be thrilled to have them watch Fred and stay in our home anytime!

Liency was amazing with my 2 dogs and cat. My dogs are a bit temper-mental and she’s been so professional in how she handles them. She updated me 2x a day with photos and reassurance that they were doing great. Additionally one if my dogs has to take meds and get eye drops throughout the day and liency was a pro handling that. Thanks so much, will definitely book again!

Jovi can be quite particular with whom he is comfortable with, so it was a great sign that he did not bark at Polli at our meet and greet. When she arrived for sitting, he was just fine with her in the apartment and didn't try to bark at her to leave. It is always nice to feel your dog is comfortable when leaving! I was gone for a week and when I got home Jovi was clearly well cared for. Polli did a great job getting new pony tails for him so he could see, the house was clean, and Jovi was in good spirits!

Denise took great care of my 2 dogs while I was on Holiday. Her communication was great, she provided plenty of daily pictures and updated. We even had a small incident where one of my pets needed a vet and she went above and beyond to help and take care of the ossue. She was very respectful towards my apartment and left everything in great condition. Would definetly use her again for future needs.

JAMIE IS THE BEST ROVER I HAVE EVER HAD!!! I’ve had my cat for ten years, and have used rover many times. But Jamie? She’s different. My cat is very particular, high needs sweet boy who needs meds three times a day. He is very attached to me, and leaving him is difficult for both of us. But the moment he met Jamie? He was smitten. She sent me a video of him purring next time her. Genuinely? He’s in love. Jamie was communicative, kind, and so very good to my boy. She is now our go-to sitter. Best rover I have ever had!!!
