“Ksenia was very communicative and adaptable to my pup's needs while I was away for Thanksgiving. My dog seemed like she had lots of fun and I would absolutely book her again!”

“Cynthia is a wonderful sitter! She was a natural fit with our dog and took such good care of him (and our home) while we were away for a long weekend. I really appreciated her regular updates and photos during the sitting.”

About: As an animal lover and previous dog and cat owner, I’ve become a caretaker for all of my loved one’s animals as I’m unable to have pets of my own at the moment. I’ve cared for and lived with a variety of dogs of various sizes, ages and breeds. I’ve also experienced caring for animals with health issues and strict diets so I know the importance of paying attention to detail! Animals love being in my home and I love ensuring they’re comfortable with me in theirs for any overnight stays. I’m a freelance wardrobe stylist who is home the majority of the week. I’m an early riser and stay up late enough for any night time needs. I have reliable transportation and live in the middle LA with the ability to travel anywhere in the city. Walking is my main source of exercise and I know amazing places all over LA to take furry friends. I have taken care of multiple dogs in my apartment and there’s been no issues. We have an outdoor pet area and I live near great places to take pups out and about. My building manager and I have a great relationship and she is a dog owner as well, so there’s no issue with having different animals at my place. I’m used to different locations for work due to my freelance job so my comfortability of driving to a client’s home is absolutely no issue!
“Elizabeth did an amazing job with Lady Mae while staying at my apartment for the weekend. Was extremely communicative and followed all instructions. Was a pleasure to work with her and will definitely be requesting her services next time I’m out of town.”

“Katherine was amazing! She took wonderful care of our beloved doggies who might now like her better than us. My older dog had several medicines, and she was a total pro. 💯 recommend, and we’ll be using her again!”

“This is the second time I've had Damaris sit for my kitten, Ninja. She responds so quickly to requests and was flexible when my plans changed. She is super friendly and easy going and Ninja loves her! She always asks specifically what is needed for the day and cares about our cat as much as we do! She sends several pictures and updates througout the day so I can see Ninja is doing well. I will definitely use her again and would highly recommend her to anyone that needs a caring and trustworthy sitter for their fur baby. My mind is at ease knowing she is with Ninja when I can't be.”

“Veronica was amazing — very professional and really engaged well with our dog. I especially liked that they truly understood the breed of my dog. They were great!”

“I can highly recommend Ash - a wonderful house sitter and cat companion for my cat while I was away. She was super responsive to messages, sent daily photo updates of my cat, and treated my apartment as if it were her own. I came home to a happy cat and a tidy apartment. Thank you, Ash!”

“Love Abigail and will definitely call upon her again. She stayed with my babygirl and gave her lots of love. She followed my crazy wants and needs. ( because I am a particular cat momma 🙃)”
“I can’t recommend Gabby enough! She was incredibly communicative and sent lots of the cutest pics. My dog is working on leash reactivity and Gabby was great at working with her and continuing her daily practice on walks. My dog is obsessed with her. I’ll definitely be booking with her in the future.”

About: Ever since my sister adopted her angel dog in college, I have been vying to go anywhere and do anything to hang w her. Ive never met a fur baby I didn’t love. I have quite a bit of experience in elder dog care and maintaining medication and diet. I’m also good at keeping up with training and other behavioral habits. I am new to Los Angeles, but not new to animal care. I work as a freelancer, so I have plenty of day time to offer in helping relieve your pup and stretch their legs. Always happy giving affection or putting them to work, depending on their needs. I’m not allowed to take pets into my home at the moment, but happy to spend time or overnight at someone else’s in helping an animal.

About: Dog mama since 2010 🐶🐶 Trusted by family and friends to take care of their pets in any way, from sitting while they are on vacation to popping in for a walk or feed if they need some extra hands. Have worked with puppies, elderly dogs, and pets with special accommodations. Currently self-employed with a flexible schedule. Open to providing walks, pop-ins, and care on a daily basis between 7am and 7pm as well as long term sitting. I always try to keep things as status quo as possible the pets I sit, ensuring that their routine and any special accommodations stay in place. My goal is to always make the pet as comfortable as possible, to the point where they won’t even notice their owner isn’t there.

About: I've been dog walking and pet sitting for friends, family and neighbors for the past 10 years in both Chicago and Los Angeles. I'm a work-from-home writer and content creator (so I'll send you tons of pics + videos) with a flexible schedule, which means I have plenty of time for walks, drop-ins, playtime, and making sure your dog gets all of the attention they deserve throughout the day! If your dog likes being the only dog or is more of a people person, I'm your gal as I don't have a dog myself and only board dogs from one family at a time. I have experience with dogs of all different sizes, personalities, and energy levels, from tiny lap dogs to bigger adventure buddies. I understand that every dog is unique, and I always take the time to learn their routine, preferences, and *quirks* so they feel safe and comfy on their walks and/or during boarding while you're away. You'll get regular updates, a puppy report card, and plenty of photos and videos that might make you wonder if your dog is having more fun than you are 😎🌴 I work from home during the day so my schedule is super flexible for walks, drop-in, playtime, potty breaks, and tons of snuggles and love! 2 nights a week around the weekends I work as a bartender from 9am-2am. I know how important consistency can be for dogs so I can absolutely maintain the routine they're used to with specific walk times, feeding schedules, crate time, whether they like to sleep in the bed, or any other special instructions or training rules. Your baby's safety and comfort are always my top priorities. When walking, doing drop-ins, or pet sitting from your home, I'm respectful of your space, careful with doors, gates and leashes, and always make sure pets are secure before I leave. I keep dogs leashed on walks always and make sure to have appropriate safety/emergency contact/vet info on hand. In my home, I provide a calm, pet-safe home in a pet-friendly apartment complex with great outside areas for walks and potty breaks. I have pet cameras on at all times in my home for peace of mind/if I need to step out without them, and since I WFH I'm able to keep a close eye on pets throughout the day.
Mid Wilshire pet parents share their Rover experiences
Gaby is a lifesaver! My senior dog was diagnosed with retinal degeneration disease and went blind within a matter of weeks. She had to undergo medication right away, which had side effects in the bowels... all the day before I had to leave town. This was the first time Gaby met and stayed with our dog. She went beyond the call, going to the store to get pumpkin, paper towels, and everything else that was needed. My dog loves her, we love her, and I don't think anyone else will ever be able to take care of our dog but Gaby. Thank you for your kindness and patience.

Kelly was a fantastic sitter for my fur baby Onyx! She was in regular communication, sent lots of pics and kept me updated as necessary. Onyx was well taken care of and Kelly was loving, patient and kind with her. She worked with me on crazy changes to my flight schedule and even offered to stay late which I really appreciated. She left my house clean and fresh and was a pleasure to work with. She is reliable and a great communicator. She even checked on Onyx the day after my return. I’d definitely have Kelly again and am already trying to book her for a future date. Thank you Kelly for taking such great care of Onyx, for being so loving with her and for being willing to work with me on all levels!

Mica was awesome! She took amazing care of Bernie and sent regular updates. When I came back he was very sweet and calm, a sign he'd had a great time. I had to make a few changes to the booking and she was very patient, responsive, and accommodating. A great and seamless experience- highly recommend.

This is our second time with Tommy staying at our home with our 2 female dogs. They love him and he takes such good care of them! Keeps them on their routines, pills etc... He has a great attention to detail and we will book with him again! Thanks Tommy!!! Rae, Kevin, Dusty and Luna!

Charlotte was so accommodating to our schedule and gave our new kitten and senior dog a lot of love! It was so nice to enjoy our vacation and know that they were being given so much love and attention. Our flight home was delayed a few times and Charlotte was able to stay later than anticipated to look after our babies. We appreciate her so much!!

Lillian house-sat with our shy, skittish pup for two weeks and kept her safe and comfortable. We were updated with photos and videos and able to enjoy our trip knowing that Lillian had everything under control, and we returned home to a healthy, happy dog (and a tidy house!). Highly recommended.

We’ve now had Taylor watch our pets twice, and both times have been wonderful. Renny and Tuxedo were happy and well cared for, and Taylor even handled our tarantula without missing a beat. It’s a relief to have someone reliable who’s comfortable with all our animals—including the unconventional ones. Highly recommend!

Valeria is amazing and we’re so glad to have found her through Rover. She stayed at our home for two weeks to care for our dog while we were on vacation and sent us daily updates and photos. It gave us peace of mind knowing our dog was in good hands. Valeria is trustworthy, communicative, and our dog absolutely loves her. :)

Katherine was wonderful! She was prompt and communicative and easy going. Our puppy is not the easiest (he’s young and a bit of a land shark), but Katherine was great at keeping him engaged and distracting him if he was getting too energetic. Will definitely be using her again!
