“Lillian is terrific. On time, thoughtful and diligent. She is flexible as well, and was able to extend her time with us no problem. And the doggies loved her! Highly recommend!”

“So sweet! She was so reassuring and communicative. Maggie is 18, and I was nervous to go away for a few days. She took good care of Maggie, and my home. Definitely recommend!”

“Elizabeth did an amazing job with Lady Mae while staying at my apartment for the weekend. Was extremely communicative and followed all instructions. Was a pleasure to work with her and will definitely be requesting her services next time I’m out of town.”

“Veronica was amazing — very professional and really engaged well with our dog. I especially liked that they truly understood the breed of my dog. They were great!”

“Cynthia always does a great job with my dog. I would definitely recommend her! I have 24-hour concierge at my building and they consistently tell me how great she is with my dog. When I come, my dog acts as if I was barely away for longer than a few hours, which tells me he was well taken care of. ☺️”

“Abi was wonderful and our kitties loved her!! Even our less social, nervous kitty was so relaxed and happy when we got home. We absolutely recommend her and would hire her again in a heartbeat! Thank you tons, Abi!!”

“Katherine was absolutely incredible in every way. She took care of our home and our four pets with such kindness, attentiveness, and professionalism—it honestly felt like we had left everything in the hands of family. We even had a change of plans, and she was able to accommodate without hesitation. She went above and beyond, sending us regular updates and making sure our pets were happy, safe, and loved. We came home to a house that felt warm and cared for, and pets who were clearly well looked after. Katherine is truly stellar, and we couldn’t recommend her more highly.”

“We had a great experience with Bonnie! She was communicative from the start, responding quickly and asking lots of questions about our dogs and home before the stay. She's clearly a dog lover and understands dog behavior and body language, which was especially helpful because our two dogs have their own dynamic. She took excellent care of them, including a fun trip to the park, and they were happy and well cared for when we got home. She also took great care of our house. We'd happily book her again and highly recommend her.”

About: As an animal lover and previous dog and cat owner, I’ve become a caretaker for all of my loved one’s animals as I’m unable to have pets of my own at the moment. I’ve cared for and lived with a variety of dogs of various sizes, ages and breeds. I’ve also experienced caring for animals with health issues and strict diets so I know the importance of paying attention to detail! Animals love being in my home and I love ensuring they’re comfortable with me in theirs for any overnight stays. I’m a freelance wardrobe stylist who is home the majority of the week. I’m an early riser and stay up late enough for any night time needs. I have reliable transportation and live in the middle LA with the ability to travel anywhere in the city. Walking is my main source of exercise and I know amazing places all over LA to take furry friends. I have taken care of multiple dogs in my apartment and there’s been no issues. We have an outdoor pet area and I live near great places to take pups out and about. My building manager and I have a great relationship and she is a dog owner as well, so there’s no issue with having different animals at my place. I’m used to different locations for work due to my freelance job so my comfortability of driving to a client’s home is absolutely no issue!
“Evelyn was very flexible with us and willing to help in any way needed. She left our place just as we left it and our little ones seemed to have loved her. Will definitely be reaching out again and can say in confidence to others that she is a great choice to take care of your pets!”

“Lisa was amazing! She took amazing care of our dog, was easy to communicate with, and left our apartment in perfect shape. Sophie had such a good time she was sad to see her leave!”

“I can highly recommend Ash - a wonderful house sitter and cat companion for my cat while I was away. She was super responsive to messages, sent daily photo updates of my cat, and treated my apartment as if it were her own. I came home to a happy cat and a tidy apartment. Thank you, Ash!”

“I was very skeptical about using Rover’s services for the first time and I’m glad I chose Genki. My pet and apartment were both in the same condition when I returned from my trip. He was very accommodating to my pets needs. Due to this great first experience, I feel much more confident using Rover now.”

“Gaby was wonderful and I have already booked her for the next time I'll be out of town! Very sweet girl with a kind heart that just loves dogs. She was great at communicating with me and sending pictures of my pup. I highly recommend!”

“We are so glad we found Prabha! She was incredibly communicative and professional with us and was wonderful with our pup, Sunny. It’s clear she loves dogs and enjoys caring for them. She took Sunny out to play, managed his zoomies, and knew when he needed to go potty. Thank you for everything, Prabha!”

About: Hi! I’m a 28 year old living in Los Feliz who has grown up with dogs all his life. I grew up with Golden Retrievers and a Cocker Spaniel/Schnauzer mixed breed dog, usually having 2 or 3 dogs at once. For the last 5 years, I’ve been raising a dog on my own (another mixed breed dog, mainly a Jindo — a Korean breed). He is an anxious rescue, so between him and the Golden Retrievers I grew up with, I'm used to dealing with dogs at all ends of the social and anxiety spectrums. I work remote and would love to help watch your dog while you’re at work. I’m pretty flexible between 7:30am and 5pm. I take care of a lot of my friends’ dogs while they’re at work, so I thought why not make myself available to the wider community :) I work fully remote with very few meetings. I would love to come hang out with your dog while you're away during the day! I'm comfortable doing whatever is best for your dog in your home (be it walking in the neighborhood, playing fetch in the backyard, etcetera)
“Jehiny was wonderful! She took care of my English bulldog while I was away for the weekend and sent lots of pictures and updates. The house was so clean it looked untouched when I got back! Will definitely have Jehiny back again!”

Lauren was wonderful! She swooped in last minute to watch my cat and my very excitable dog for two nights. She was super responsive, sent regular updates, and it was clear that the animals loved her. She gave me so much peace of mind while I was traveling. Highly recommend!!

We had a great experience with Bonnie! Daisy was just wonderful. She took the time to come meet the girls and to see what the walk is like with a senior pup, she was kind and gentle and loving with both bunny (which was new for her,) and pup. Daisy was communicative, sent pictures, and was not afraid to ask for clarification when she had questions - something I so appreciate. I felt such confidence leaving both my girls and my home in her hands. She is great!!

Gaby is a lifesaver! My senior dog was diagnosed with retinal degeneration disease and went blind within a matter of weeks. She had to undergo medication right away, which had side effects in the bowels... all the day before I had to leave town. This was the first time Gaby met and stayed with our dog. She went beyond the call, going to the store to get pumpkin, paper towels, and everything else that was needed. My dog loves her, we love her, and I don't think anyone else will ever be able to take care of our dog but Gaby. Thank you for your kindness and patience.

Kelly was a fantastic sitter for my fur baby Onyx! She was in regular communication, sent lots of pics and kept me updated as necessary. Onyx was well taken care of and Kelly was loving, patient and kind with her. She worked with me on crazy changes to my flight schedule and even offered to stay late which I really appreciated. She left my house clean and fresh and was a pleasure to work with. She is reliable and a great communicator. She even checked on Onyx the day after my return. I’d definitely have Kelly again and am already trying to book her for a future date. Thank you Kelly for taking such great care of Onyx, for being so loving with her and for being willing to work with me on all levels!

Mica was awesome! She took amazing care of Bernie and sent regular updates. When I came back he was very sweet and calm, a sign he'd had a great time. I had to make a few changes to the booking and she was very patient, responsive, and accommodating. A great and seamless experience- highly recommend.

This is our second time with Tommy staying at our home with our 2 female dogs. They love him and he takes such good care of them! Keeps them on their routines, pills etc... He has a great attention to detail and we will book with him again! Thanks Tommy!!! Rae, Kevin, Dusty and Luna!

Charlotte was so accommodating to our schedule and gave our new kitten and senior dog a lot of love! It was so nice to enjoy our vacation and know that they were being given so much love and attention. Our flight home was delayed a few times and Charlotte was able to stay later than anticipated to look after our babies. We appreciate her so much!!

Lillian house-sat with our shy, skittish pup for two weeks and kept her safe and comfortable. We were updated with photos and videos and able to enjoy our trip knowing that Lillian had everything under control, and we returned home to a healthy, happy dog (and a tidy house!). Highly recommended.

We’ve now had Taylor watch our pets twice, and both times have been wonderful. Renny and Tuxedo were happy and well cared for, and Taylor even handled our tarantula without missing a beat. It’s a relief to have someone reliable who’s comfortable with all our animals—including the unconventional ones. Highly recommend!

Valeria is amazing and we’re so glad to have found her through Rover. She stayed at our home for two weeks to care for our dog while we were on vacation and sent us daily updates and photos. It gave us peace of mind knowing our dog was in good hands. Valeria is trustworthy, communicative, and our dog absolutely loves her. :)
