“Gaby was amazing! Great communication, so kind, and sent lots of updates and photos. I returned to a relaxed and happy dog and a very clean apartment which is always appreciated 😊 Would highly recommend - thank you for everything Gaby!”

“I can't recommend Scott enough! 🐾 I booked him to care for our dog Dexter, who is very anxious and follows a strict routine. From the moment they met, Dexter—who is typically very shy and slow to warm up—immediately took a liking to Scott. That alone gave me so much peace of mind. We were gone for two weeks on an international trip, and I was extremely nervous about leaving Dexter for that long. Scott stayed at our home to help maintain Dexter’s routine and reduce his anxiety. He sent daily updates with photos and videos, and his communication was 100% consistent and reliable throughout our time away. 📸🐶💬 When we returned, we were blown away. Dexter was calm, happy, and relaxed—as if we had never left. There was no sign of stress or anxiety, which is a true testament to the level of care Scott provided. Our home was also in perfect condition—Scott took just as great care of our space as he did of Dexter. This was the best possible outcome I could have asked for, and I truly feel Dexter was in the best hands. Thank you, Scott, for being so professional, kind, and attentive. We’re so grateful—and Dexter is too! 🐾❤️🏡”

“April was fantastic with Maui! She took such great care of her and stayed with her during our time away. She was very flexible to our schedule and so sweet. Maui loved her!”

“LaTamarra is the best. She’s articulate and professional and she loves on and takes care of my boy Jeffrey as she would her own. Jeffrey loves her. Also she’s on point with the updates and photos - amazing photos!”

“Thank you Samantha for taking care of Pablo and staying with him over the holidays!! Thank you also for washing the sheets, loading the dishwasher, and tidying up, even though you didn’t have to do that. It was nice to come home to a clean home!”
“Lauren is the absolute best! She took care of my two bulldogs when I went to Japan for two weeks and I never once had to worry about them. She is very communicative and even let me know when my dog seemed to develop some itchiness/allergies. Lauren is super attentive and sweet. I can guarantee I will be hiring her again in the future for my babies. I would recommend her to everyone but please don’t steal her from me because I love her too much!!”

“Carissa is great! She loved my cat, Birdie and Birdie loved her. She definitely has a way with animals. Birdie is on a diet, so her food and calories need to be tracked. Carissa did a great job keeping track of it all. She was great at communicating and sent a few pics everyday. She’s a lovely young woman and I will definitely use her again!”

“Cynthia was wonderful to watch our dog and cat over a long weekend! She was super communicative and sent lots of updates/photos for us! Our pets have a unique food schedule, medication requirements, and experienced dog walking needs that she managed with ease! Highly recommend!”

“So communicative. Even helped clean my house without me asking just to make the environment nicer for my pets. 10/10. Such a doll and my animals loved her. She was consistent with walks and lots of love. She also took lots of photos!!”

About: I love animals more than people! Been petsitting all my life. First to offer my friends and neighbors to be Auntie to their little muffins. I owned a petsitting and dog training business in Portland for many years... had to move and change jobs but I still love having as many furfriends as possible! I consider myself very intuitive and always respect a pets boundaries. Listening is key and watching for body language. I will take the very best care of your home and pet!! Just like they were my own. I work for myself and have a very flexible schedule. I can work around what works best for you. Great at time management and super reliable. I prefer sitting at my clients homes and have extensive experience with housesitting alone. I have managed luxury homes and can offer extra things like plant watering, mail pickup, coordinating with staff, etc.
“I was summoned last minute for jury duty and needed someone to watch Peanut. Luckily Melody stepped in quickly. We did a meet and greet and she was great with Peanut at our house for half a day. We’re excited to book her again in the future!”

“Alex was amazing! This was our first time having someone who is not family watch our pups and we were very anxious. Each of our pups have their own little quirks and we wanted to be sure they felt comfortable with someone in their home. Alex understood our worries (and didn’t make us feel crazy), she kept in touch while we were away with photos, videos, and general updates and quickly eased any initial anxieties. We were able to relax knowing they were in good hands! We are excited to travel more and finally have someone who will care for our angels just like we do💖”

“Aidan was fantastic. Was conscientious about learning the routine ahead of time, kept me posted throughout a lengthy stay, and left the place in great shape. I came home to find the pup very content! Would highly recommend.”

About: I grew up in rural Texas with 6 dogs (German Shepard, Bassett hound, chihuahua, dachshund and more) as well as cats and horses. I love and have cared for animals since childhood, and routinely act as dog/cat hotel well my friends are out if town for work/vacation. I work from home as a composer. My ears need frequent breaks to stay fresh, and so I take myself on frequent walks. It’s better with pet company :) Because my office is in my own apartment, feeding and pets and attention of all varieties is no problem. NO yard. This is a one bed apartment in WeHo. Frequent walks are a given, but please take into consideration your own pets needs before reaching out. I work from Home but will frequently need to attend meetings and session outside of home. Dogs with severe separation anxiety are not a good fit! This is a one bedroom apartment with no other pets or people. So it’s great for dogs and cats who are not accustomed to other pets. It’s not great for dogs who are accustomed to a yard.
“Emily was amazing! It was our first time since moving to LA last summer having a pet sitter and we were gone for almost two weeks but Emily was so kind and communicative and left us at ease knowing our baby was safe and happy while we were away sending photos and updates along the way! Would definitely hire again 🩷”

“I was very skeptical about using Rover’s services for the first time and I’m glad I chose Genki. My pet and apartment were both in the same condition when I returned from my trip. He was very accommodating to my pets needs. Due to this great first experience, I feel much more confident using Rover now.”

“Olha was absolutely amazing! She took such incredible care of Louie and gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. She was extremely attentive, loving, and thoughtful, and she kept me updated throughout the stay with so many photos and videos. It was clear that Louie was happy, comfortable, and well cared for the entire time. I truly appreciated her communication and the extra effort she put into making sure everything went smoothly. I would highly recommend Olha to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter, and I would gladly book with her again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Danielle was absolutely fabulous from start to finish. Great communication and my cats were very well cared for. I could not have asked for a better person to care for them!”

This is our second time with Tommy staying at our home with our 2 female dogs. They love him and he takes such good care of them! Keeps them on their routines, pills etc... He has a great attention to detail and we will book with him again! Thanks Tommy!!! Rae, Kevin, Dusty and Luna!

April, Did a fantastic job with Sassy! She was incredibly caring, spent a lot of time with Sassy, took her for walks and played with her. Sassy adored her. April respected the feeding schedule of Sassy and handle everything professionally. I would absolutely have her back in my home to dog sit Sassy. I was pleased with the results and would recommend April highly!

We’ve now had Taylor watch our pets twice, and both times have been wonderful. Renny and Tuxedo were happy and well cared for, and Taylor even handled our tarantula without missing a beat. It’s a relief to have someone reliable who’s comfortable with all our animals—including the unconventional ones. Highly recommend!

Amber did great with our 2 dogs. This was our first time having an in home sitter from an app so we were very nervous. One of our dogs is very anxious and vocal. She took her time to do a little bit of training with him. That was very much appreciated. We would book her again.

Katherine was wonderful! She was prompt and communicative and easy going. Our puppy is not the easiest (he’s young and a bit of a land shark), but Katherine was great at keeping him engaged and distracting him if he was getting too energetic. Will definitely be using her again!

We had to take a last-minute trip and were so stressed, but Scott completely saved the day! He stayed at our place for two nights and took amazing care of Dexter. Scott was incredibly communicative and kept us updated the entire time, which gave us total peace of mind. Plus, he is always the perfect houseguest. We came home to a clean house and a very happy pup. We cannot recommend him enough!

Olha was absolutely amazing! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Montenique was very nice and cool! She took really good care of our dog and senior cat and successfully gave them medications they both needed. She sent lots of updates each day and kept us in the loop on everything while we were away. I would highly recommend her!
