From the moment they met, Dexter—who is typically very shy and slow to warm up—immediately took a liking to Scott. That alone gave me so much peace of mind. We were gone for two weeks on an international trip, and I was extremely nervous about leaving Dexter for that long. Scott stayed at our home to help maintain Dexter’s routine and reduce his anxiety. He stayed at our house for three nights and looked after our three animals - a cat and two dogs, one of whom has mobility issues and needs meds twice a day. It's always hard when you have someone new stay in your house and look after your babies, esp when they have challenges. Enter Valentin. He has an impressive background. More importantly, he did a superb job for us. Frequent check-ins, videos and pics. Asked detailed questions ahead of time and during our stay when he needed clarification. He made our trip easier and is a caring and compassionate guy.”

He took the time to listen to our needs with our two dogs - one a rambunctious, high energy larger mix, and one a smaller, older, slower-paced mix. Before sitting, he took the time to meet with us and get to know each pup, and on the job, he spent wonderful individualized time with each dog, playing with them, giving them affection, and paying special attention. Communication was top notch. We are very picky and sensitive to our pups’ needs and we returned to find them calm and happy. Cannot say enough positive things. We will be re-booking with Tommy in the future. This is a very personalized, special sitter who knows his stuff!”

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals from a young age, dogs being my absolute favorite! While I started pet sitting occasionally for friends and family, last summer this part-time business started to boom! I had the opportunity to meet so many amazing new dogs, learned so many new things and really fell in love with pet sitting! I am currently working in a very flexible part-time position, so I have plenty of time and energy to be putting into pet sitting, walking, or just hanging out! Without a completely fenced in yard, I am more comfortable keeping the pets on leash at all times when outside of the home. With some exceptions including parks, dog parks, and safe fenced in areas, with approval and guidance from the client of course!
