“Mary watched our aging little dog over Christmas. Our dog has anxiety with lots of triggers, and also takes many meds and bathroom breaks due to her heart condition. Mary followed all directions and loved on her a lot! She was very communicative, sending us lots of videos where our girl looked so happy and relaxed. Mary has such a caring and calm energy, I think our dog instantly vibed with her from the initial meet and greet. About: I dog sitted for a family friend about a year before the dog became part of my family due to some issues with her past owners. I started and continued the schedule that was set for her i.e. eating, walks, and commands learned when she was trained. I also grew up with the love of dogs thanks to my extended family always having all types of dogs/pets and I finally get to take care and love for a dog myself! I am a freelance makeup artist and thought this would be perfect for me considering scheduling and my love for pets. I enjoy a good walk so having a companion is always fun. Trust is the first important thing to me. Building a relationship based on trust is the best feeling. I will do anything for the pets and my own safety especially when encountering other pets, people, and situations. Safety including following any specific directions and needs for your pets will be no problem for me. I am a very caring and detail oriented person.

Madison was really amazing at carting for our two pups while we went out of town for the weekend. We have a 2 year old Aussie who needs a lot of playful attention and a 14 year old señor pup who just wants some company around. Very different personalities and Madison was very attentive and caring. She followed the instructions we provided her and kept us updated through the day by sending us pup photos and playtime outside. Most importantly she took care of our home while we were away and was very respectful. We will be booking her again and recommend her to other doggy families out there. Thank you Madison!

Emily crushed it! She was super throughout the entire process. Will definitely use again. She was very proactive from the first message - setting up a meet and greet. She was great with Rory during the meeting. For the stay, she was also great! Updates came in frequently, she asked questions, etc. Zero concerns or questions with how our pet was doing. At the end of the stay, she provided an overall summary and some thoughts on Rory which were super helpful. Our house was kept as if no one had stayed here - in a good way! Clean and tidy. Ashton stayed in my home, with my dog Lulu, for two weeks while I traveled for work. Most importantly Lulu was happy, healthy, and clearly well cared for when I returned. Ashton was also just a great house guest. She was clean, quiet, and communicative. 10/10 will rebook with Ashton!
Anna stayed at my home with my golden girl. Aurora over the 4th weekend. Aurora warmed up to her immediately, even cuddling on the couch and bed with her! It was my first time not having a friend watch my pup while I was out of town so I was a little nervous, but Anna sent a bunch of pictures (btw she’s also a great photographer) of them having a great time together and it really put me at ease. Her communication was great, she was very timely and I appreciated her coming to meet Aurora and get a tour of the house before I headed out of town. I genuinely did hours of research and reading reviews as a first time Rover user and Anna’s profile really stood out to me, I understand why she has so many repeat clients and wonderful reviews! She also left the house in a beautiful condition which I really appreciated after driving back from a roadtrip to a nice, clean house. I would love to have Anna back to watch Aurora anytime she needs care as I know she was in great hands and very loved while I was away!
I can’t recommend Jason enough! He housesat for a couple of overnight stays while I was in Palm Springs, and he took absolute elite care of my dog, my precious and feisty girl Jolene. She had the best time with him! you could tell she was happy, relaxed, and well cared for the whole time I was gone. What really stood out was how far he went beyond the basics. He kept my home tidy and comfortable the entire stay, so coming home felt just as good as leaving..no stress, just a HAPPY dog and a clean house. That kind of thoughtfulness and respect for someone else’s space says a lot about his character. Honestly, the peace of mind Jason gave me while I was away was priceless. I never once worried about Jolene or my home. I trust him completely and will absolutely be booking Jason again for Jolene. If you’re looking for a sitter who treats your home and pet like their own, look no further!
Christine was absolutely wonderful to cat and house sit while we were out of town. My cat, Stinky, was originally a stray and is now an indoor/outdoor cat, so I really needed someone who would understand his routine and make sure he felt safe and cared for. Christine did exactly that. She was reliable, caring, attentive, and respectful of our home, and gave us complete peace of mind knowing Stinky was in good hands. I really appreciated the care she put into looking after him. I would highly recommend Christine to anyone looking for a trustworthy, kind, and dependable pet and house sitter and I'll be rebooking with Christine!
Anton pet sit for Mozza for about a week while we were away on vacation. Overall, we are happy with Anton and his attentiveness to the pup. We printed out detailed care instructions for him, and it seems like Anton followed them quite well. He also took good care of our house. We will definitely consider Anton again for future care.
Annette was wonderful with our senior dog Norm. Very communicative, super attentive and really bonded with Norm. He will be looking forward to his next sleepover with Annette! He also has a complicated medicines regime which Annette got to grips with immediately. We felt very confident that Norm was having all of his needs met. Would highly recommend!
