About: Hi! My love for animals started young with trips to the SD Zoo, watching Animal Planet and The Wild Thornberrys, and transitioned to an enthusiasm for pet care when I got my first dog at 10. In recent years, I've provided pet care for friends, partners, and my parents - doing everything from beach days, hikes, and parks, to lazy days at home. I've house sat, popped in to walk dogs, and had dogs stay over at my apartment. I'm new to rover, but have no shortage of love for your pets. I am most easily identified as the girl who whispers "i love you" to any and all dogs that I pass by on the street. My full time job has recently closed our office on Fridays so I'm looking for a way to full my days while doing something I love! My full time job has recently closed our office on Fridays so I'm looking for a way to full my days while doing something I love! I work Monday-Thursday. I can be available to board, walk, and pet sit from Thursday evening through the weekend! I would prioritize your needs around my weekend schedule. I have an apartment, so pets are able to chill and/or play at home with me and go on nice neighborhood walks, come along for adventures, or do whatever else you desire. If in your own home, I would treat your space with respect and follow any care instructions you provided.
“My senior pup enjoys seeing Samuel walk in. She wakes up and her tail starts wagging when he enters. He’s gentle, kind, and patient with her. I appreciate the great videos and amazing pictures too!”

About: I’ve always loved animals and have experience caring for pets in my own home. I’m responsible, patient, and attentive to their needs. While I’m new to caring for other people’s pets, I will treat every pet with the same love, care, and attention I would give my own. I’m happy to follow each pet parent’s instructions and make sure their furry family member feels safe and comfortable. Hello, I'm available after my daughter drop off, all mornings and Tuesday Friday Sunday all day I can walk them to the park go to your house, give the treat everything you need for them, feel free to ask if I can do something else for your babies ✨❤️🐶 I live in a spacious apartment and currently have a guinea pig of my own. I absolutely love animals and would be happy to give your furry baby lots of love, attention, and care. For drop in visits, I’m happy to care for pets in their own home. 🐕😻🐈🐰🐁
“We had an amazing experience with Matty and Chelsea! They were flexible and easy to communicate with. Our two high energy dogs were no problem for them!”
“Dalia is great! She’s very sweet with pets, our dog loves her! She is always reliable and communicative and sends thoughtful updates. It’s great to know our dog is in great hands!”

About: I have worked with multiple board and train facilities in Los Angeles as well as two different doggy daycares in Los Angeles. I have two puppies of my own that are fully house broken and trained. My schedule is very flexible, so I have plenty of time to spend with the pets I’m caring for. I love being outside and going for walks, but I’m also perfectly happy hanging at home with a pup who would rather cuddle on the couch. I want every pet to feel comfortable and at home with me. I have gates and separate areas throughout my apartment, so I can easily give pets their own space when needed. Brooklyn usually stays with my mom when I have an overnight guest, so your pet gets my full attention. I’m also big on updates and photos because I know how nice it is to see that your baby is happy while you’re away.
“Liz was fantastic!! Easy to make the booking, called prior to get detailed info about our dogs needs, great communication and punctual pick up....And our dog loved her!!! Will definitely be booking her aging!!!”

About: Greetings and thank you for visiting my profile. Please note: CHLOE is the name Igo by. In my many years of adventures in petsitting, I have experienced (and learned a lot from) several events, such as 🔥 , a flooded home, a holiday blackout, senior, blind, deaf, incontinent, dying pets, and lost pets. I've had the blessing of knowing and being trained by a prominent animal behaviorist. The simple things she taught me have been instrumental in my petsitting approach. I speak dog. I am semi retired and work part time as a temp. I am available most days to visit, play, feed and walk your fur babies. My goal is to "leave the home (immaculate) and pets (fed, exercised and relaxed) as good as or better than how I had found it." I move in to the home and maintain the animal's routine, spending at least 70% of my time with them.
About: I grew up with hunting dogs, mostly labradors, and for years, I have taken care of friends’ dogs when they’ve been out of town or need to work overtime for a bit. Much like dogs, I need enough active time during the day to really get good rest later, and I’d love to help your dogs get the attention they need! I’m currently running my own business from home and have a lot of availability during “normal” working hours. I take care of my own 2 cats in the during the day as well. I will treat your pets as if they are my own, and I will have the utmost respect for your home, leaving it in the same condition I found it.
About: I grew up with dogs and then became a cat lady (I have 2!). I get along with all personalities and sizes of dogs, I have a deep understanding of cats, and neighbors have relied on me to care for their pets ever since I moved to this neighborhood 15 years ago. I’m Auntie Karen! (Or the Cat Whisperer, because the most timid cats love me). I currently work part time, and my schedule is flexible, so although I prefer visits to be scheduled at least a day in advance, I can usually make myself available for last-minute needs. For cats: I let them take the lead. Some want to play (and I always come with toys), and others prefer that I feed them, change their litter box, and step away while they eye me suspiciously. I never force anything, and that's probably why shy cats tend to feel safe with me. For dogs: Safety first – I always double check the collar/harness. I never have headphones on when I walk them, because I prefer to be present with him/her/them. Overall, my goal is for the pet to feel safe and cared for, and you to have peace of mind. I also send lots of pictures and videos.
About: Hello from Alicia and James! First off, we love animals! We each had pets growing up and as adults - dogs, cats, hamsters, everything. Over the past ten years or so, our house has become a landing spot for our friends' dogs so we're used to providing a nice space for them - we play, run through commands, go for lots of walks, and give plenty of affection. Having used Rover to board we know what makes a good experience. You will receive as many photos as you’d like – If you want a lot of pics and details, like me, you’ll get them. If your dog requires medication or special treatment, they’ll get it and on time – our last dog Smuckers was on meds in her older years so we know how important it is. Our drinking water is Berkey filtered and we run two air purifiers. Our home is clean and spacious. Including a large enclosed side-patio. Our home is also a peaceful place to be. The vibe is calm. We read books, listen to music, cook, laugh, go to bed early :) and we’d love for your pet to join us. We will spoil them! I work from home so your pup will get all the attention and love they need. And lots of walks too - three a day is no problem! We previously had two dogs of our own so our home is very dog friendly - it's an indoor/outdoor space that is secure and homey. Your dogs will be treated as if they were our own - with lots of love and attention.
About: Hi! I’m Duane, and I’ve been caring for dogs for over 13 years. Whether it’s raising energetic puppies, caring for senior dogs, or providing extra attention to dogs with special needs, I understand that every dog has unique needs and deserves personalized care. Because I work from home full time, your pet will never be left alone for long periods. They’ll have constant companionship, supervision, and plenty of attention throughout the day. My flexible schedule allows me to provide multiple walks, playtime, enrichment activities, and lots of affection to keep your dog happy, active, and comfortable. I believe communication is just as important as great pet care, so you’ll receive hourly photo and video updates throughout the day, giving you peace of mind and letting you follow along with your dog’s adventures while you’re away. My goal is simple: to make your dog feel safe, loved, and right at home while you’re away. I treat every pet as if they were my own and strive to provide an experience that both you and your dog will look forward to every time you book. I work from home full time, so your dog will have constant supervision and companionship throughout the day. Because my schedule is flexible, I’m able to provide frequent potty breaks, multiple walks, playtime, meals on time, medication if needed, and plenty of one on one attention. Your pet will never be left alone, and I’ll make sure they stick to the routine they’re most comfortable with. Your dog’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. Before every stay, I take the time to learn about your dog’s routine, personality, medical needs, and any house rules you’d like me to follow. I have experience caring for puppies, senior dogs, and dogs with special needs, including administering oral medications and safely handling breeds that require extra care, like Dachshunds. My home provides a clean, calm environment where your dog can relax, play, and feel right at home. I’ll also send hourly photo and video updates so you always know how your pup is doing.

“Alexis was wonderful with my pups! She took great care of them, and sent me detailed updates and pictures! She made sure they were happy and healthy and got a nice long walk! I plan on hiring her again very soon!!”

“We loved Mary from the moment we met her! She made us feel comfortable and most of all she was so great with our high-energy husky/shepherd. She went above and beyond when taking him for his long walk and we can’t wait to have her watch him for the weekend! Thank you, Mary!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Pico-Robertson
I've been so lucky to have Therese walking Gus since April! She is always on time, incredibly reliable, and so kind and caring with Gus. She's also been so accommodating whenever we've needed to adjust schedules, which I really appreciate. It's such a relief knowing Gus is in such great hands every time she's with him. Gus absolutely loves her!

Nicole has been such a lovely sitter to work with and we are so grateful to have had the chance to meet her. She’s taken care of our Milo, above and beyond! With a pretty in flux schedule, Nicole has many times come on a moments notice, and always provided detailed communication about availabilities and walks. On other occasions Nicole has taken the time to teach Milo a few tricks! Can’t say enough great things about our experience in working with Nicole!
