About: I have had pets all of my life and they truly bring me so much joy. I have had dogs as pets all of my life and I understand their needs and how to give them lots of love! I have experience with puppies, small dogs, big dogs, and elder doggies. I wasn’t allowed to have cats due to my dad’s allergies, but I volunteered at CARMA cat shelter for over a year to love on kitties in need of homes, and to learn how to understand cat caretaking. I love training my parent’s dog and teaching him fun tricks (rolling over, play dead, stand up). I’ve been trusted enough to take care of my friend’s cats and dogs when they are on vacation, it brings me so much joy to be trusted with and love on good doggies and kitties. I am a college student, so now that school is out of session for me, I am only working a part-time job. Outside of that job, I have plenty of time and nights to walk/stay the nights with your pets. I own a car so I have reliable means to travel to your homes, and I will always communicate quickly about how my schedule will fit into your pet’s needs. I will always follow any directions about how to care for your pet and your home. I will leave your home cleaner than it was before and try my best to make it seem as if I was not there. I want you to feel like your home is completely safe while you are away so all anxieties are eased. I will send you cute photos of your pet and always give you updates when needed!

About: I grew up taking care of pets! My childhood dog Olivier was an unusual mix; he was an eye-catching, mutant-sized Dachshund who got a lot of attention walking down the street, and we had a couple of independent-minded kitties. My family still has multiple dogs and cats. I absolutely adore dogs and feel strongly about tuning in to who they are - if they want to play, it's on! If it's a shy guy or gal, I respect their space if and until they feel more comfortable. I facilitate healing workshops and I'm an artist with a variable schedule that I keep up-to-date on my Rover calendar. I'm currently living in a building that doesn't allow dogs and I love cats but am super allergic. So daily pet care for me is making friends with and greeting my doggy neighbors. When I've had pets or boarded them previously with Rover, I always make sure to find out the basics of their personality from you, their favorite human. They deserve the same consideration we give people! Currently only offering walks, not boarding.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always respect the owner’s instructions and make sure pets stay comfortable in their familiar environment. I have experience caring for both dogs and cats, including feeding, playtime, litter box cleaning, walks, and giving pets patience and attention based on their personality and energy level. Since I’ve been around animals for years and currently have pets of my own, I understand how important reliable and loving care is for both pets and owners.

From family, friends, neighbors, and more I have dog-sat and walked a wide variety of dogs of different sizes, ages, and temperament. In addition to dog sitting and walking I have also fostered dogs and helped over 50 rescue dogs find there forever homes. I am always available for drop dog walking or sitting. I can also work with your schedule to create something more consistent if desired. When it comes to walking I always want to take the safest and most comfortable approach for the dog. So I like to understand their favorite paths, treats, leash, etc. When staying over I generally provide a morning and evening walk with at-home playtime in between, but can always adjust to the dogs needs. I also like to stay with the dog as long as I am able so they feel comfortable. I always want to follow what the dogs needs so they feel at ease while their human families are away and like their regular routine isn't too disrupted.

About: I have nine-plus years of cat-sitting experience and am comfortable working with different types of feline personalities and ages. I also used to watch my neighbor’s small and medium sized dogs, take them for walks, and feed them. I am able to administer oral medication as well as provide insulin injections for diabetic cats. I am very responsible and know that animal care is crucial; I treat pets with the same amount of respect as people. I have been caring for friends’, neighbors’, and family’s pets for years. While I think that Annie is one of the most authentic people I know, I will admit that I first knew it by way of a dog.” I’ve loved every animal I’ve ever met since I was a kid and have always been able to create connections and bonds with animals when I spend time with them. I’ve been trusted to take care of family and friends’ pets since a young age and I have developed my skills with how to work best with them as I’ve cared for them throughout the years. I take the task very seriously and create a strict schedule tailored to the special needs of each animal I book. ** MEET AND GREETS MUST BE PLANNED AT THE TIME OF THE BOOKING ** Last-minute meet-and-greets will not be permitted unless there are specific circumstances. A secondary option is available with a video call. All meet-and-greets take place outside the boarding location to accommodate the animal I am boarding at the time. I am comfortable meeting right outside our complex, or at a local Starbucks, or the Veteran park right across the street from us. Video calls do allow my clients to tour our place for those who are concerned about the environment their furbabies will be staying in. I respect our clients' concerns and can accommodate them within the bounds of our safety and the safety of the animals I am watching. My environment is very safe and pet-friendly. I live in an apartment with many nearby yards. I have quick and easy access outside, animal gates, and a crate for a dog, BUT only if approved by the owner and only if necessary. Outside, my unit is completely gated unless we are out for a walk.

Many of these foster dogs come from stray and abandoned backgrounds, so we have to work with dogs of all demeanors.
