“We had a great experience! Our dog can be pretty nervous around new people, but Allison was patient and made him feel comfortable from the start. We really appreciated how flexible she was with our schedule and accommodating of our requests. It gives us peace of mind knowing we can leave our dog with Allison and he’ll be well taken care of. Highly recommend!”

About: Dogs have always been a part of my life. When I didn’t have my own, I always took care of my friends and family dogs. I have always had a special relationship with each individual pup, and I would love to get to know all the quirks and needs of your precious dog(s). My family’s dog is named Cali, and she is truly my best friend. She is in New York now, so I cannot see her as much and am needing some doggy attention from others in the mean time. I know what it is like to feel nerves leaving your dog and making sure they feel safe and happy, and I hope to create that same environment for your dog. I am a post college graduate who majored in social work, and I have always had a need to care for others. My most recent experience is spending the past two months house sitting for 3 amazing dogs. One was elderly and the others were two big puppies. I hope to continue this summer having fun with new fluffy friends and making sure you can enjoy any vacation, obligations, or other activities knowing your loved ones are in good hands. I am currently doing a gap year before I head to do my master’s degree in New York City. That means I have loads of flexible time to perform pet care and work on your time! I expect to know at least 3 days before. Making sure pets are understood and supported is my biggest priority. Being in a new environment or with a new person is scary and overwhelming. It’s important for me to understand their needs and big feelings before putting them in different situations. I treat everyone’s dog like my own-meaning loads to attention, cuddles, playtime, walks, talks, and treats. It’s important for dogs to not just be taken care of at the bare minimum-but to be enriched, active, and engaged when I am around.
About: I care for every pet like they’re my own family member, not just a job on my calendar. When your pet is with me, they’re getting affection, and lots of attention to the little details that make them feel safe and at home, the same I give to my own pup (Q-pid). What sets me apart from other sitters is how intentional I am about routines and communication. I take the time to learn your pet’s normal behavior, quirks, and preferences so I can spot if something seems “off.” I follow your instructions closely (feeding schedule, walk times, meds, crate routines, training cues, etc.) so your pet’s day feels as familiar and stress-free as possible. You’ll also get regular photo updates and honest check-ins, so you never have to wonder how things are going. Whether your pet is a high-energy goofball, a shy introvert, or a wise old soul, my goal is always the same: to make them feel safe, loved, and understood while you’re away and to give you total peace of mind in the process. I'm currently a student with 1.5 - 3 hours of class per day. Taking care of my pet and your pet fits naturally into my daily routine. I ensure my daily routine allows me to actually be present with my pup and the animals I’m caring for, not just squeeze them in between other commitments. On weekends, my schedule is even more flexible, so I can accommodate longer walks, park trips (if you’re comfortable with that), and extended stays. Overall, I treat your pet’s care like a priority, not an afterthought. I plan my day around their needs so they get reliable, loving attention and you get peace of mind while you’re away. Safety and trust are my top priorities. And I treat your pet the same way I treat my own pup: with patience, respect, and a lot of care for the details that keep them happy and secure. I have a friendly resident pup, so I do slow, supervised introductions to make sure everyone feels safe. I watch body language closely and will always prioritize a calm, positive first meeting. If anyone seems overwhelmed, I separate, redirect, and give them space instead of forcing interaction. I keep a pet-safe environment: - Leashes are always used outside or in unsecured areas. - Doors and gates are checked and closed so no one can slip out. - Food, trash, and anything unsafe (chocolate, meds, etc.) stay well out of reach. - No access to toxic foods or plants - Trash secured and small objects kept out of reach - Doors and windows checked and locked before playtime Feeding is always supervised, and I never free-feed multiple dogs together. I separate pets during meals and high-value treats to avoid any resource guarding or tension. I follow your instructions on crate use, furniture rules, feeding routines, and treats. If your dog prefers their own crate or bed, I’ll make sure they have a quiet spot to relax and decompress away from extra stimulation. There’s always time built in for bathroom breaks, exercise, play, and just as importantly—rest. In your home: When I’m caring for your pet in your space, I follow your house rules and routines. I stick to the schedule you give me for walks, meals, meds, and playtime, so your pet’s day feels familiar and predictable. I double-check doors and gates, keep leashes and harnesses secured, and always monitor them closely on walks—no risky off-leash time unless you’ve specifically requested it and it’s in a safe area. Communication & peace of mind: You’ll get regular photo updates and honest notes about how your pet is doing—eating well, bathroom habits, energy level, anything I notice—so you can relax knowing they’re not just “okay,” they’re truly cared for. Whether in my home or yours, my goal is simple: a safe, calm, and loving environment where your pet can relax, have fun, and feel like they’re with family.
“Hi Carolina, Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of Ulises! He was in great hands, and the walks helped him burn off so much energy, which definitely made life easier for us. We’d be happy to have you walk him again anytime! Uli also sends a big thank you. We really appreciated how responsible you were and how you kept us updated throughout the day—it gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was doing well. We’re so grateful we could count on you these past few days. You were such a huge help, and we truly appreciate everything you did for Ulises. Thank you again! ❤️”

About: I’ve personally had many dogs and cats throughout both my childhood and now adulthood and consider them my family. I’m patient, kind, caring and very good with any and all special care needs for younger or older pets. I’m currently working part time and remotely from my home so I have a lot of time and flexibility / openings daily as may be needed. I have a fenced yard in a nice, safe neighborhood with one male terrier mix dog and one long haired domestic long hair cat. I work remotely so am home with my pets and any additional friends I may meet who come by! Very animal safe!
“We used Allie for the first time and she was so great!! She’s flexible and communicative and really is a natural with dogs. She came over to meet us and our dog before her first visit- we are so thankful for the extra time she spent to get to know Piper. Thank you, Allie!”

About: While we're new to pet sitting, we've always loved being around dogs. We regularly visit local dog parks because we enjoy spending time playing with and interacting with dogs of all sizes and personalities. These experiences have helped us become comfortable reading dogs' body language and understanding the importance of patience, kindness, and positive interactions. We know that every dog is part of the family, and we'll treat yours with the same love, attention, and care we would give our own. We're committed to providing a safe, clean, and comfortable environment, following your pet's routine, and making sure they receive plenty of exercise, playtime, affection, and companionship while you're away. I currently offer dog boarding on weekends, which allows me to dedicate my time and attention to the pets in my care. On weekends, my schedule is flexible, so I can provide regular walks, playtime, potty breaks, feeding according to your instructions, and plenty of love and companionship throughout the day. I understand that every dog has its own routine and preferences, and I'll do my best to follow your pet's normal schedule to help them feel comfortable, relaxed, and at home during their stay. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I provide a clean, calm, and pet-friendly home where dogs can relax and feel comfortable while you're away. I only take a limited number of dogs at a time so each one receives plenty of individual attention, affection, and supervision. I carefully follow each owner's instructions regarding feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise, medications (if needed), and any special routines to help your dog feel at home. Dogs will always have access to fresh water, a comfortable place to rest, and lots of playtime and companionship. Before accepting a boarding request, I'd like to learn about your dog's personality, energy level, and any special needs to ensure they're a good fit for my home. My goal is to provide a safe, loving environment where you can feel confident your furry family member is being cared for as if they were my own.
About: I've taken care of my family's dogs for the past 5 years. I have stayed overnight at friends, family members and my boss house and genuinely have a deep and loving connection with all dogs. I love walking dogs and love playing with them, from Tibetan Terriers and Wheatens, Huskies to mutts - I've taken care of them all! I am currently available to work full time and can make almost all things work! I also care deeply for the pets and want to be there for them at the time that is best for them aka work around their schedules! I am very attentive and present with the animals. I'm a writer so there will be some natrual downtime but I plan to be there for the dogs as they need it and spend extra time with them too playing and making sure they feel very cared for.

About: I have many years of experience caring for animals, growing up on a farm in rural Minnesota. I have volunteered at animal shelters, and have experience with various breeds. Familiar with toileting and feeding schedules, medication administration, and basic grooming. I want your pet to feel loved and cared for while you’re away! I am a current masters student only working part-time for the time being, looking to fill my schedule with positive pet encounters! I have plenty of free time for the rest of the summer and want to support pet parents in any way possible. I keep an open line of communication to make sure your concerns are addressed and your preferences are accounted for. Safety and comfort is a top priority, making sure your pet not only gets play time but that walks and other adventures are done with all dangers considered.

About: Hi, I'm Caroline! As a remote worker, I am home during day so I can provide your pet with constant companionship, regular potty breaks, and most importantly lots of love. I'm new to Rover, but not new to pet sitting. My experience includes caring for a family dog and cat, pet sitting, fostering, and volunteering at Best Friends Animal Society. I have never met a dog or cat I didn't like. My apartment is animal friendly, smoke-free, and ready to become a safe home away from home for your pet with lots of nap spots. I'm open to everything from high-energy puppies or kittens who need consistent play and training to gentle seniors who want a relaxed environment. I am highly skilled at reading animal body language and creating a calm environment for anxious pets. Above all, I will respect your rules for your pet and love them as my own. I cannot wait to love and care for your furry family member while you are away! Please note I open up my availability about a month in advance so my calendar is constantly being updated and I am happy to work to accommodate last minute bookings :) I'm currently working freelance and I work from home so I have lots of time to care for your pups and adjust my flexible schedule to your needs! While I live in an apartment, I have a large living space so your pet will never feel cramped. I am also a very active person so your pet can expect lots of walks, dog park visits, or whatever makes them happy. I love being creative with stimulating activities whether it's in my home or outside. I do not have any pets of my own beside those that I dogsit or foster so I can work to accommodate pets that prefer to be the only animal in the home. :)

About: I grew up taking care of pets! My childhood dog Olivier was an unusual mix; he was an eye-catching, mutant-sized Dachshund who got a lot of attention walking down the street, and we had a couple of independent-minded kitties. My family still has multiple dogs and cats. I absolutely adore dogs and feel strongly about tuning in to who they are - if they want to play, it's on! If it's a shy guy or gal, I respect their space if and until they feel more comfortable. I facilitate healing workshops and I'm an artist with a variable schedule that I keep up-to-date on my Rover calendar. I'm currently living in a building that doesn't allow dogs and I love cats but am super allergic. So daily pet care for me is making friends with and greeting my doggy neighbors. When I've had pets or boarded them previously with Rover, I always make sure to find out the basics of their personality from you, their favorite human. They deserve the same consideration we give people! Currently only offering walks, not boarding.
About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 5 years old, and over the years I’ve had two Shih Tzus of my own who taught me just how much joy and love pets bring into our lives. From playful puppies to gentle seniors, I’ve learned how to adapt to each dog’s unique needs. What sets me apart is not only my lifelong experience, but also the patience, responsibility, and genuine care I bring to every pup I meet. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or snuggles, I make sure your dog feels safe, loved, and happy while in my care. As a full-time student, I’m looking for part-time opportunities that fit into my weekly schedule. I make sure your pup always has the care and attention they deserve! When caring for dogs, safety and comfort always come first. I take the time to learn each dog’s routine, personality, and any special instructions from their owner to make sure they feel at home—whether that’s in my space or yours. I give pets plenty of love and attention while keeping a watchful eye to ensure they’re safe on walks, properly fed, and comfortable in their environment. I treat every dog as if they were my own, because trust is just as important as care.

Walks are in my tree-lined neighborhood and access to Roxbury Park. I’ve had dogs my entire life, including large and high-energy breeds like German Shepherds and Dobermans, so I’m very comfortable with their routines, behavior, and exercise needs. I am comfortable leading large dogs. I focus on creating a relaxed, structured, low-stress environment where dogs feel safe and secure while their owners are away. Food is served in elevated food bowls for your pooch's comfort. This is a less traumatizing experience than a kennel. I treat each dog like it's my own, and avoid contact with all other dogs. Your dog is played with and praised throughout the day. I work from home as a writer, so I’m here throughout the day and able to give your dog consistent attention and supervision. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to accommodate different drop-off and pick-up times. I keep a calm, structured routine with regular walks and downtime, so your dog feels comfortable and well cared for. I've been so lucky to have Therese walking Gus since April! She is always on time, incredibly reliable, and so kind and caring with Gus. She's also been so accommodating whenever we've needed to adjust schedules, which I really appreciate. It's such a relief knowing Gus is in such great hands every time she's with him. Gus absolutely loves her!

I was feeling a little nervous about our first confirmed house sitting with Genki and requested a last minute walk for a kind of “orientation.” He was prompt and very open to my “guidance” - it was really anxiety about leaving my two doggies with someone new. I have a strong and anxious pittie so I wanted to make sure she wouldn’t be too much. We walked together and Genki quickly showed me he knows what he’s doing. I feel a little better about our dogs’ upcomig weekend with Genki and appreciate his kindness and the respectful way he showed up to meet and walk our dogs.

Hi Carolina, Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of Ulises! ❤️

I had a great experience with Natalie and couldn't be happier. She was incredibly kind, professional, and punctual, which immediately gave me confidence that Alfie was in good hands. One thing I really appreciated was that she sent several pictures throughout the walk, which made it easy to see how much fun Alfie was having and gave me peace of mind while I was away. It's obvious that she genuinely loves animals and treats them as if they were her own. Most importantly, Alfie absolutely loved her. He's usually a pretty good judge of character, and it was clear from the photos and from how excited he was to see her that he felt comfortable and happy. That means a lot to me. Finding someone you trust with your dog isn't easy, but I genuinely feel like Alfie is in great hands with her. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and thoughtful dog walker.

We had a great experience with Egle and our pup! She was very kind, professional, and communicative. She took the time to schedule a meet & greet and truly understand our dog's temperament and schedule. We're excited to use her services again and would definitely recommend!
