About: Hi! My love for animals started young with trips to the SD Zoo, watching Animal Planet and The Wild Thornberrys, and transitioned to an enthusiasm for pet care when I got my first dog at 10. In recent years, I've provided pet care for friends, partners, and my parents - doing everything from beach days, hikes, and parks, to lazy days at home. I've house sat, popped in to walk dogs, and had dogs stay over at my apartment. I'm new to rover, but have no shortage of love for your pets. About: I grew up taking care of pets! My childhood dog Olivier was an unusual mix; he was an eye-catching, mutant-sized Dachshund who got a lot of attention walking down the street, and we had a couple of independent-minded kitties. My family still has multiple dogs and cats. I absolutely adore dogs and feel strongly about tuning in to who they are - if they want to play, it's on! If it's a shy guy or gal, I respect their space if and until they feel more comfortable. I facilitate healing workshops and I'm an artist with a variable schedule that I keep up-to-date on my Rover calendar. I'm currently living in a building that doesn't allow dogs and I love cats but am super allergic. So daily pet care for me is making friends with and greeting my doggy neighbors. When I've had pets or boarded them previously with Rover, I always make sure to find out the basics of their personality from you, their favorite human. They deserve the same consideration we give people! Currently only offering walks, not boarding.
