I know a bit "dog psychology" ha and understand how to react to certain situations... especially when dogs are uncomfortable.. There’s a park right by my apartment, a very good option for dogs looking to socialize. My apartment is very quiet, so if your fur baby does not want to socialize, it is all covered as well. I've had dogs since 6. Dogs generally like me too. I enjoy my time with dogs. They melt my heart :) I can’t wait to meet your fur babies! It will be fun I can watch dogs during weekdays with a day or two notice, and my weekends are usually open. I do appreciate advanced notice. My apartment is very quiet, and please let me know if your dog has any excessive barking. I usually only watch dogs from the same owner or I will let you know. About: I grew up taking care of pets! My childhood dog Olivier was an unusual mix; he was an eye-catching, mutant-sized Dachshund who got a lot of attention walking down the street, and we had a couple of independent-minded kitties. My family still has multiple dogs and cats. I absolutely adore dogs and feel strongly about tuning in to who they are - if they want to play, it's on! If it's a shy guy or gal, I respect their space if and until they feel more comfortable. I facilitate healing workshops and I'm an artist with a variable schedule that I keep up-to-date on my Rover calendar. I'm currently living in a building that doesn't allow dogs and I love cats but am super allergic. So daily pet care for me is making friends with and greeting my doggy neighbors. When I've had pets or boarded them previously with Rover, I always make sure to find out the basics of their personality from you, their favorite human. I have been hired countless times to walk dogs, check-in on cats, and give them lots of love! About: I am the kind of person who'll always find a pet to pet or coo over no matter where I am; I always volunteer to watch my friends' animal friends when they can't because they're so freakin' cute. Throughout my life I or my family have had some pets, from hamsters to cats to dogs (and big ones!), so I know how to treat animals well and how to care for them. I love taking dogs to the park and run with them, play, and give them treats, but I'm careful not to spoil them too much no matter how much I want to. I know when they need to get their energy out and when to chill, when to give them personal attention and if they need a firm (but appropriate!) discipline. It will be a mutual love at first sight ! :D I freelance and have a flexible schedule. I don't always know which days but I usually will be able to tell at min 1-2 days in advance. I'm also generally available weekends. I cater to each dog. I have the friendliest dog of my own to hang with yours so I'm well versed in dog care. We love walks and hikes and hangs, either at home or backyard or beach! If a crate is required that's not a problem. I like to casually supervise them while letting them play and run around if close supervision isn't necessary.
