About: While I’m new to Rover and building my profile, I’m not new to caring for animals. I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life and have experience with pets of different ages, personalities, and needs. About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 10 years old. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed, bathe, and care for their pets. About: Dogs have always been a part of my life. When I didn’t have my own, I always took care of my friends and family dogs. I have always had a special relationship with each individual pup, and I would love to get to know all the quirks and needs of your precious dog(s). My family’s dog is named Cali, and she is truly my best friend. She is in New York now, so I cannot see her as much and am needing some doggy attention from others in the mean time. One was elderly and the others were two big puppies. I am currently doing a gap year before I head to do my master’s degree in New York City. That means I have loads of flexible time to perform pet care and work on your time! I expect to know at least 3 days before. Making sure pets are understood and supported is my biggest priority. Being in a new environment or with a new person is scary and overwhelming. It’s important for me to understand their needs and big feelings before putting them in different situations. I treat everyone’s dog like my own-meaning loads to attention, cuddles, playtime, walks, talks, and treats. It’s important for dogs to not just be taken care of at the bare minimum-but to be enriched, active, and engaged when I am around.

About: I’ve personally had many dogs and cats throughout both my childhood and now adulthood and consider them my family. I’m patient, kind, caring and very good with any and all special care needs for younger or older pets. I’m currently working part time and remotely from my home so I have a lot of time and flexibility / openings daily as may be needed. About: Hi! I’d love to be your pup’s next walker or sitter. I grew up right here in Westwood, taking care of neighbors’ pets since I was a kid (dog walking, cat sitting, babysitting, all of it)! Animals have basically always been part of my life, and I know this neighborhood inside and out (great parks, quiet routes, the works). I left for a few years to study in San Francisco, where I kept dog walking and cat sitting on the side. Now I’m back in Westwood and have my own cat (a very demanding one), plus experience fostering kittens and older cats, so I’m comfortable with pets who need a little extra patience. You’ll get photo updates from every walk or visit, and I’m happy to do park playtime if your pup’s up for it. I have my own cat, Miso-san, and I’m currently fostering a 6-year-old who’s teaching me a lot about patience with older cats, different needs, different pace, and I’ve learned to read those cues well. Every morning I’m out walking, rain or shine, and I usually pick up a few pup friends from the neighborhood along the way — so your dog would be walking with familiar company, not just me. It’s become a real routine for me, not something I squeeze in. Because animals are woven into my day already, your pet isn’t an inconvenience I’m fitting in around other things — they’re just part of how my day naturally goes. For dogs, that means walks and visits based on whatever routine you set, feeding times, potty breaks, exercise level. For cats, I stick to their normal feeding and litter routine, give them the attention they’re used to (play time or just quiet company), and check food/water/litter every visit. If your pet needs meds or has a specific routine, I follow it exactly as instructed. I also treat your home with the same respect I’d want for, everything left exactly as I found it. You shouldn’t have to wonder how things are going while you’re away. I send photo updates every visit or walk, so you get to see your pet mid-walk, mid-nap, or just being themselves. If anything seems off, they didn’t eat much, seemed a little low energy, I’ll message you right away instead of waiting until the visit’s over. I also send a quick recap after each visit: what we did, how they seemed, anything worth noting. You should feel just as in the loop as if you were home yourself.

About: Hello friends! A little about me: I have had animals my entire life, and between my parents (and my own personal acquiring of snakes & turtles) I've definitely expanded my 'pet ownership' resume. I've had three bunnies, a few different reptiles, and over a dozen dogs throughout my life; most of my families dogs were adopted, including a Rottweiler, Labrador Retriever, 6+ mixed breeds, and three border collies. One of the border collies has severe epilepsy and requires frequent medicine & constant attention- so in addition to helping him through his seizures, I'm very knowledgable on administering medicine to dogs. Providing special care, as well as enjoying the basics of walking/running/feeding/playing etcetera, are definitely things I can happily offer for you and your pets. I’m very active as I enjoy hiking, dancing, and working out, so tiring out your dogs won’t be an issue whatsoever. Im a full-time student, but due to taking all my classes online this semester, I'm available every day and don't currently lead that demanding of a life — which is great for scheduling! Yay! I absolutely love animals and can’t wait to meet your fur babies! My schedule is extremely flexible so your fur baby is my top priority and all my other errands for the day will float around your dogs schedule. I have an open space rooftop for your pet to play, as well as a 1,300 sq ft apartment (with elevator if your pup is afraid of stairs!) and balcony they can enjoy the view on. I also live in a very nice, shaded neighborhood, close to many parks, and will utilize all the amenities near me so your pup has the best experience.

About: I have been a dog foster for a long time. I worked with shelters and having great passions about dogs. I know a bit "dog psychology" ha and understand how to react to certain situations... especially when dogs are uncomfortable.. There’s a park right by my apartment, a very good option for dogs looking to socialize. My apartment is very quiet, so if your fur baby does not want to socialize, it is all covered as well. I've had dogs since 6. Dogs generally like me too. I enjoy my time with dogs. They melt my heart :) I can’t wait to meet your fur babies! It will be fun I can watch dogs during weekdays with a day or two notice, and my weekends are usually open. I do appreciate advanced notice. My apartment is very quiet, and please let me know if your dog has any excessive barking. I usually only watch dogs from the same owner or I will let you know. That way I ensure they will get along and don't fight.
