About: Dogs have always been a part of my life. When I didn’t have my own, I always took care of my friends and family dogs. I have always had a special relationship with each individual pup, and I would love to get to know all the quirks and needs of your precious dog(s). My family’s dog is named Cali, and she is truly my best friend. She is in New York now, so I cannot see her as much and am needing some doggy attention from others in the mean time. I know what it is like to feel nerves leaving your dog and making sure they feel safe and happy, and I hope to create that same environment for your dog. I am a post college graduate who majored in social work, and I have always had a need to care for others. My most recent experience is spending the past two months house sitting for 3 amazing dogs. One was elderly and the others were two big puppies. I hope to continue this summer having fun with new fluffy friends and making sure you can enjoy any vacation, obligations, or other activities knowing your loved ones are in good hands. I am currently doing a gap year before I head to do my master’s degree in New York City. That means I have loads of flexible time to perform pet care and work on your time! I expect to know at least 3 days before. Making sure pets are understood and supported is my biggest priority. Being in a new environment or with a new person is scary and overwhelming. It’s important for me to understand their needs and big feelings before putting them in different situations. I treat everyone’s dog like my own-meaning loads to attention, cuddles, playtime, walks, talks, and treats. It’s important for dogs to not just be taken care of at the bare minimum-but to be enriched, active, and engaged when I am around.

About: While I’m new to Rover and building my profile, I’m not new to caring for animals. I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life and have experience with pets of different ages, personalities, and needs. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision, so I make communication a priority and will keep you updated with photos and messages so you can feel confident that your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for. Growing up, I also helped at a shelter with my mom, which gave me early experience working with animals of different temperaments and needs. I truly love animals and enjoy making them feel safe, happy, and comfortable. I’m very active and love spending time outdoors, especially hiking. I used to take my last dog, Loulou, on adventures with me, and I would love to have a furry companion to explore nature with. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or just keeping them company, I treat every pet like my own. I’m excited to earn the trust of both pets and their owners by providing reliable, loving care every time. I’m also flexible with location and can help with pick-up and drop-off if that makes things easier. Pet care fits easily into my routine since I currently work part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule. I’m consistently available on Wednesdays, Fridays, and often on weekends, and I can plan my days around the needs of the pets I’m caring for. On the days I’m available, I make sure to dedicate quality time to each pet whether that’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just giving them attention and companionship. I enjoy being active, so incorporating walks or outdoor time into my day feels very natural to me. I’m also attentive to each pet’s routine and will adjust my schedule to match their usual habits as closely as possible, helping them feel comfortable and secure. When caring for pets, I always focus on keeping them comfortable, safe, and as close to their normal routine as possible. I follow the owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any specific preferences or habits the pet has. In my home, I create a calm and clean environment where pets can relax and feel at ease. I make sure they have plenty of attention, playtime, and regular walks, along with a safe space to rest. I’m attentive to their behavior and mood to ensure they’re happy and not stressed.

About: I’ve personally had many dogs and cats throughout both my childhood and now adulthood and consider them my family. I’m patient, kind, caring and very good with any and all special care needs for younger or older pets. I’m currently working part time and remotely from my home so I have a lot of time and flexibility / openings daily as may be needed. I have a fenced yard in a nice, safe neighborhood with one male terrier mix dog and one long haired domestic long hair cat. I work remotely so am home with my pets and any additional friends I may meet who come by! Very animal safe!

About: I have been a dog foster for a long time. I worked with shelters and having great passions about dogs. I know a bit "dog psychology" ha and understand how to react to certain situations... especially when dogs are uncomfortable.. There’s a park right by my apartment, a very good option for dogs looking to socialize. My apartment is very quiet, so if your fur baby does not want to socialize, it is all covered as well. I've had dogs since 6. Dogs generally like me too. I enjoy my time with dogs. They melt my heart :) I can’t wait to meet your fur babies! It will be fun I can watch dogs during weekdays with a day or two notice, and my weekends are usually open. I do appreciate advanced notice. My apartment is very quiet, and please let me know if your dog has any excessive barking. I usually only watch dogs from the same owner or I will let you know. That way I ensure they will get along and don't fight.

About: I grew up walking Dobermans, Rottweilers, and Chihuahuas! I can walk a large dog, but small dogs love me too. I am familiar with local parks that are perfect for dogs to play. I have been hired countless times to walk dogs, check-in on cats, and give them lots of love! I desperately want a pet but cannot fit it into my schedule to have one on my own as I work part-time and go to school. This would be a perfect way for me to be around dogs, and give them the care that they deserve. I loved taking my parents doberman to the park, he eventually learned his walk there and loved to play with his toys once we got there. I would love to do the same for anyone else’s pet.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up with both dogs and cats and have years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. In addition to having a dog of my own, I've fostered numerous puppies, dogs, and kittens, which has given me experience with everything from energetic young pets to those needing extra patience and attention. I also volunteer at a local animal shelter, where I help care for animals and support their well-being. I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your pet, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. I’m currently on a very flexible schedule and available weekdays and most weekends, allowing me to accommodate pet care needs, walks, drop-ins, and boarding requests. About: I have years of experience loving and taking care of dogs and cats, both big and small. My family and I have been rescuing and rehoming dogs for as long as I can remember. We fostered, rehabbed, resocialized, and then rehoused fighting dogs. I have loved and cared for wolf dogs, mastiffs, Great Danes, and other large breeds. I have also loved and rescued four cats in my life; two feral, one large tabby and a chocolate point Siamese. However, my heart is with tiny dogs. My wife and I have adopted five in our sixteen years together and have rescued, rehabbed and rehoused fourteen others that we just found on the street over the years. I want to take care of your dog because it makes me happy to do it. I am a fine artist and work at home. Pet care is already my favorite part of everyday. I have two senior dogs, fifteen and sixteen years old. The opportunity to take care of dogs and cats outside of the house is a dream come true. My wife and I do not have children so I am available at all hours of the day. Give me the opportunity and I will show your loved one the time and attention that they deserve. About: I have previous experience with dog walking and pet sitting, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs of all sizes and personalities. I've also grown up around dogs through friends and family, so I'm very comfortable reading their body language, building trust, and adapting to their individual needs and energy levels. As someone who is bubbly and full of energy, I love going on walks, playing, and making sure each dog feels safe, happy, and well cared for. I'm very attentive and responsible, as I am the eldest of three, and always make sure to follow any specific instructions closely. Communication is something that I heavily value, so I consistently keep owners updated and I'm never afraid to reach out with questions, updates, or anything needed to ensure their pet is doing. I treat every pet with patience, care, and genuine affection as if they were my own. I currently work part-time at UCLA as an event planner for student activities, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I’m available Monday through Thursday after 5 PM, and I have full availability on weekends. I truly enjoy spending time with animals, so I make sure to prioritize giving them attention, exercise, and care whenever I’m with them. Whether caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I always prioritize creating a safe, calm, and comfortable environment. I follow instructions closely and make sure each pet’s routine is maintained consistently. I’m also very comfortable handling all aspects of pet care, including the less glamorous tasks like cleaning up after pets and maintaining their space. My goal is always to ensure pets feel secure and well cared for, while giving owners peace of mind.

Elizabeth dealt well with all of it. She was flexible about the dogs indoor/outdoor arrangement. She kept in touch with questions. When my quirky locks jammed, she notified me and we were able to solve the problem remotely. My dog, known to reject some sitters, clearly got along well with Elizabeth.
