About: Talk about a long recess! The last time I was actively walking on Rover, I was still grinding through grad school. Fast forward a few years—I survived, got the degree, and now I’m a college professor! But with campus closed for the summer and seasonal breaks, I am thrilled to swap my lecture notes for a leash. To keep things smooth, I specialize 100% in neighborhood walks and drop-in pet sitting. I don't accept boarding or daycare requests at my location, meaning your pet gets my undivided attention and a premium, PhD-level walking /sitting experience right in their own familiar territory. I can't turn on off the educator, so I may work on basic training with your pets. I'm a performing artist, writer, and online professor, so I have time to care for your fur babies. I'm also self employed so I make my own schedule. I only care for pets in your home, and I follow your rules while making sure your pet feels loved and cared for because they should feel as comfortable as possible when you're not around.
About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life! Growing up my parents had dogs before I was even born. From this I knew since a young age how to properly take care of animals. Just look at my pictures! We’ve raised everything from playful pups to sleepy senior dogs. From loyal German Shepherds to my cute little Poodle, I’ve loved them all. Oh and we didn’t stop at dogs! At one point we had 9 animals at home. Six chickens, a Poodle, a German Shepherd, and a yellow Parakeet! Caring for animals is just second nature to me. I love making pets feel happy and safe. Whether that means tossing a ball, giving ear scratches, or just sitting quietly beside them. I work temporary assignments, which gives me flexibility. My most reliable availability is Friday through Sunday, but I’m happy to coordinate in advance for other days when possible. My priority is always to make them feel safe, loved, and as comfortable as possible. I try to stick closely to their usual routines, whether that’s mealtime, walk schedules, or playtime, so they feel at ease. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and always aim to leave things just as I found them. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection, and I keep you updated with messages and pictures so you can feel at ease while you're away.
About: I grew up with dogs and have been caring for them for most of my life, so I understand their needs, behaviors, and personalities. I am attentive, responsible, and committed to making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved. Whether it's walks, playtime, feeding, or providing companionship, I treat every dog as if they were my own. Pet owners can feel confident knowing their furry family members are in caring and capable hands. I work part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability to care for pets. I’m able to reliably fit walks, drop-in visits, and pet care into my routine while giving each pet the attention they deserve. I’m available all day Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their usual routine to help them feel comfortable and secure. I make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, fresh food and water, and a safe, clean environment while their owner is away.
“Finding a trustworthy sitter can be stressful, but Monica made it easy. She was always on time for visits and kept me updated throughout. Her responsiveness really set my mind at ease. I'll definitely be booking her again for my next trip!”

“They were really awesome and I felt comfortable leaving my dog with them at the last minute! Great pics and video! My dog was all smiles in their care”

“We have a fearful senior rescue dog with a complicated history, and Liz has been great about doing an initial meet-and-great and then an extended drop-in to spend time with our dog alone. She very much understands how to interact with a fearful dog who needs time to feel trusting. Her experience as the guardian of a rescue dog herself definitely comes into play. She was punctual, cheerful, and generous-minded, and we really appreciate her willingness to work with Penny! We will definitely use her again.”

“Rachel was communicative, reliable, and made my first Rover experience a positive one. She proactively checked in before my trip, sent fun updates during each visit, and seemed to follow all of the instructions I left. I’d be happy to book with her again.”

“We were in a tight spot because the regular sitter couldn’t help us and we were in full on chaotic wedding mode. We appreciate help we got and our animals seemed healthy and happy when we got back more than we could ask for on short notice!!!”

“Johnny is absolutely amazing with my dog, Sammy. Sammy has tons of energy, but Johnny always manages to tire him out. Plus, he always sends adorable photos. It’s clear he truly cares about the dogs he cares for. I couldn’t recommend him enough!”

“Marissa is the best person to look after your pets. She goes above and beyond and couldn't be friendlier. I would recommend Marissa to anyone, looking for any level of care for their pets.”

About: I have been obsessed with animals of all kinds since birth but my love for dogs started with my very first pup - Buck the black lab, who I grew up with. As I kid I started my own dog walking business putting up posters all around the streets of Long Beach. And then my very first job as a teenager was at PetSmart at their Pet Hotel caring for dogs in boarding and doggie daycare. Since then I have consistently volunteered in dog rescue working at adoption events and caring for dogs onsite at their facilities. While I am working on building my own small business, nothing would bring me more joy than you care for your sweet pups while you're away. I am currently working on building my own small artisan ice cream business and I am looking to help supplement my income part time while still doing something I am passionate about! I am available to walk and check in on your pet (or even take them on a nice hike) most weekdays especially in the morning or midday hours. I am available some weekends as well if planned in advance! I have a lot of experience house and pet sitting so I take caring for a pet inside of their own space very seriously. Dogs LOVE routine so I am more than happy to follow all of the typical feeding, medication, and training routines that you have already established with your pet. We can also go on walking routes that your dog is already most comfortable with.
“I have used Melissa twice for drop in visits to take care of my cats while I’m out of town. She’s very kind to the cats and very thorough and professional. I will definitely book her again the next time I take a trip.”

About: Back in Texas, I was everyone's go to dog-sitter. I'm always home, don't travel much nor do I have any pets of my own. Friends, family, and neighbors back home would actually fight over me to watch their dogs while they were out on vacation! I've cared for dogs and cats with illnesses and needed specific food schedules and medicine. I currently work from home, but I can easily work from someone else's home as long as there is reliable wifi. I am always able to step away and handle any pet needs without any complications. In my client's homes, I pay close attention to any instructions, nuances, and any precautions needed. I often times have extra questions to ensure quality care and confidence. I am extra mindful of my clients' space and want to ensure sure they come home to a happy pet.
About: Hi! My name is Kellin, and I’m a loving and experienced dog walker and sitter based in Culver City, CA. I’ve been caring for pets professionally since 2018, and I’m also a certified Pet First Aid provider, so your furry friend is always in safe hands. I work from home as a Pet Portrait Artist (my Etsy shop is DigitalArtbyKell), which means I have a flexible schedule and can dedicate focused, quality time to your dog. 💛 I’m a true animal lover who believes all dogs should be loved, safe, and spoiled! With me, your dog will get personalized care: I never walk dogs in groups, so your pet gets my full attention. I always check for fresh water, give treats (with your permission), and pay close attention to their needs and energy. I avoid unknown dogs during walks to keep your pup safe and stress-free. I love building trust through consistency, calm energy, and lots of affection. Whether it’s a walk, a drop-in visit, or overnight care — your dog will be treated like one of my own. Let’s connect! I’d love to meet you and your four-legged friend 🐶✨ I’m a full-time dog walker and sitter, which means your dog will receive my full attention and care — never rushed, never overlooked. I focus on quality over quantity, offering personalized walks and visits based on your dog’s specific needs, energy level, and personality. ✨ I truly believe every dog deserves to feel safe, loved, and seen. Please message me before booking, as I’d love to meet you and your dog first to make sure we’re a great match. I value connection and trust — both with you and your pup! 🦴 Bonus: I provide daily updates with photos and notes about your dog’s walks, behavior, potty breaks, and anything I notice — so you feel connected even when you’re away. 🌎 I’m also bilingual — hablo español, so feel free to reach out in the language you feel most comfortable with. Let’s create a schedule that works best for you and your furry friend. I can't wait to meet you both! 🐾 At this time, I only offer in-home care at my client’s residence. When caring for your dog in their own environment, I make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved — just like if you were home. I follow your instructions closely, keep their routine consistent, and pay attention to every detail: from fresh water and feeding schedules to playtime, cuddles, and daily walks. I respect your space, keep things clean, and always leave your home just as I found it — or even better! If your dog has special needs, medications, or preferences, I’m happy to accommodate them with love and care. I’m also certified in Pet First Aid, so your pup is in safe hands. Let me know what your dog loves — I’ll make sure they get lots of it! 🐾💛

I’m so glad Tasha was available to do drop-in visits for my two cats again! She was so sweet and caring with them. Before the booking she was extremely communicative and made sure she had all the care instructions she needed. Every day she stopped by, she wrote a long note and sent pics that made me confident my girls were being well taken care of. Thank you Tasha for your excellent care!

I booked Mackenzie for a second time when I was out of town for a long holiday weekend- as always, she was responsive, friendly, and took great care of my cat Bea. Mackenzie always takes sends great pictures and updates with every visit, and I had peace of mind while traveling.

You can tell that Danielle takes this job seriously and truly loves animals. She was so communicative, professional yet loving with the cats. She sent us photos and even asked to close the windows for the cats since it was 4th of July and was mindful of the fireworks. She is def going to make a great vet one day but until then- we are happy to have her come back and sit for the cats

Can’t say enough about Samantha and her responsibilities! She takes your fur babies as she knows what it means for dog parents. From the 1st meeting she offered meet and greet with my dogs. For me all details matter. This is our 2nd time with Sam, and I am happy to leave my babies with her.

I was thrilled to learn that Alicia was available for a 2nd booking to do drop-in visits for my cat. She was very prompt with her responses, followed directions well, and took some great pictures every visit. But most importantly, Alicia took excellent care of my boy, Austin !! He really enjoyed eating, playing, and hanging out during her visits.
