“Gaelen & Shenelle’s house is my pup’s home away from home! They took excellent care of Luna for 10 days-alway sending me a daily update with photos. I’m so happy to have found sitters that make me and my pup so comfortable.”

“It was the first time we left our dog with someone outside of family and through this app and it couldn’t have been a better experience. Jess and Max treated Curly Sue like their own and made her feel so comfortable and welcome from the moment we walked in the door with her. It was a tremendous relief to know our pup was in good hands and we got amazing photo updates so we felt good on vacation knowing she was taken care of :)”

“Lucero is great! She took my last minute booking, and followed my instructions to take care of my pop! Sent thorough updates multiple times a day, and tons of photos and videos. Gonna book again next week! Thanks!”

“Christina and Marty are always responsive and share frequent updates. They take great care of our pup and have helped us out many times when we’ve had to travel last minute. Highly recommend!”

“Thank you Rosario and Ryan for another wonderful stay🥰 It was Bisco’s first overnight stay with them, and she sometimes doesn’t eat because she can get a little nervous/anxious at a stranger’s house, but she ate her meal with them just fine. Thank you for providing a clean, warm, comfortable, and safe space for Bisco🙏🏻 Will book again and highly recommend for other fur parents!”

“I was so nervous to leave my dog but I had a great experience with Sheila and will absolutely book again. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly cared about my dogs well-being. I got regular updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. My dog came back happy, relaxed, and well cared for and I could tell my dog felt comfortable at her place. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive sitter.”

“Tiffany and her partner were highly communicative, sent pictures and updates, and our Konabear slept through the night with them! Thanks Tiffany and Liz :)”

“Bambi had a great stay with Andrew’s family! We are very happy with the experience and our dog is a lot less stressed than when he typically goes to the daycare/boarding. Andrew also sends many updates throughout the stay which is great to know. Highly recommend!”

“Melanie was AMAZING! I am so happy to have found her. It’s always a little unsettling leaving your dog behind on vacation, but knowing she was with Melanie (and basically on vacation herself!) put us at so much ease. Zoe had so many great adventures during her 1-week stay, from pack walks in the hills to the beach and beyond. Melanie and her family treated Zoe like a member of their family, which made us so happy. Melanie was super communicative and sent photos of their adventures daily. We’ll definitely be taking Zoe back to Melanie next time we need someone to look after her!”

“Julia and Matthew are such kind and caring people, not to mention wonderful sitters. I felt like I could trust them with Haku as soon as I met them for the meet and greet! The regular updates and pictures were so appreciated, and Haku was very well taken of. I’d absolutely choose Julia and Matthew to watch Haku again next time we need to go on another trip!”

“Kimberley is the best!! She kept my kitty in a smaller space so that she can acclimate better to the new location and would slowly expose my kitty to other pets if there’s any. Kimberley is very responsible and communicative. Will definitely book with her again!!”

“Devin and Chevelle were all star hosts for our pup Sunny! We took a day off to get to Disneyland and it really made all the difference knowing our pup was in good hands with good folks. Thanks again y’all!”

“Patricia is truly the best! This was my 2nd time using her and I had a great experience. She always sends pics & updates to give me a peace of mind, and he’s always so happy when he returns! She really goes out of her way to make sure he’s comfortable and happy. Will definitely book with her again in the future.”

“Alla was great with Satsuki! It was Satsuki’s first time staying with someone else and Satsuki was immediately comfortable! She sent lots of updates and took great care of Satsuki. We will definitely use her again in the future!”

“Wooyoung was a great sitter for my dog! She sent me updates throughout the day and was prompt at responding, which made me comfortable leaving my dog in her care. I would recommend Wooyoung.”

“Carmen was wonderful with my little princess. She took great care of her and I feel like she listened to me and was very good at communication with me while she was taking care of Uma. Thank you Carmen”

“Eva was our first dog sitter on Rover and we couldn’t have had a better experience!! She provided updates all day everyday with photos and explanations of how my dog spent his time, and I had no doubt he was in excellent hands. He loved running around her backyard & Eva even took him out to do several activities which he really enjoyed. Would love to book with Eva again in the future!”

About: Back in Texas, I was everyone's go to dog-sitter. I'm always home, don't travel much nor do I have any pets of my own. Friends, family, and neighbors back home would actually fight over me to watch their dogs while they were out on vacation! I currently work from home, but I can easily work from someone else's home as long as there is reliable wifi. I am always able to step away and handle any pet needs without any complications. In my client's homes, I pay close attention to any instructions, nuances, and any precautions needed. I often times have extra questions to ensure quality care and confidence. I am extra mindful of my clients' space and want to ensure sure they come home to a happy pet.

“Salud is an amazing sitter and she took such good care of Lola. Lola can be a little nervous when she’s away from us, but Lola came back to us happy and relaxed. We will definitely book with Salud again!”

“I’m so thankful we found Cristina! She’s been great at helping my recently adopted pup learn to socialize with other dogs, and has been patient with his puppy playfulness and quirks. I appreciated how she showed up in the rain to slowly (over 30 minutes) introduce our dogs to make sure they’d get along! My larger pit mix has only been over three times, but I can already tell he loves it by the amount of tail wagging that happens as soon as we get close!”

“My dog Bonita stayed with Kat and her two pups for a few hours in the evening so I could go out to dinner and a show with my sister. We were visiting from out of town and Bonita has separation anxiety and doesn’t do well home alone in new places. She seemed to have a great time with Kat and settled right in after I left. Kat shared many photos where she looked happy and cozy! I would definitely book again.”

About: I've taken care of small and big dogs that are great with children. I started out with friends and their dogs and have decided to dog-sit for others. I'm pretty much available. If I'm not in the gym, I'm a mom and I'm dedicated to being free for any school or fun activities. I take my sons to the park, and we love long walks. So your fur baby 🐶 will get plenty of sun 🌞. I have a fenced-in driveway and backyard and can easily crate your pup if requested. I'm a helicopter mom in the best way possible, so my children have never gotten into anything dangerous, choked on anything, or been hospitalized due to an unsafe environment, including any fur babies that I have watched. I treat them like my kiddos, with love and protection.

About: Hi, I’m Leah 💗 I work from home, have a large fenced yard that’s perfect for fetch, and have a playful toy Australian Shepherd who’s always hoping for a new playmate (which is why I joined Rover!) 🐾 I believe a tired, engaged dog is a happy dog. Every dog I care for gets my full attention with walks, play, and cuddles. I take the time to learn what makes your dog tick, whether that’s a good game of fetch, scent work, or their favorite toy, and I tailor our time together around it. I also have solid dog training experience and love reinforcing good habits during their stay 🦴 Because I’m home all day, your dog is never alone for long stretches. I go slow, stick to a routine, and use positive reinforcement to help them feel safe and comfortable in my care. I grew up with dogs and have fostered for the past 8 years. I’m comfortable with dogs with behavioral or medical needs. Please let me know ahead of time about any quirks or requirements so I can make their stay as comfortable as possible. Note: I only accept potty-trained dogs 🐶 Dogs bring me so much joy and I’d love to bring that same energy to yours! I work from home and have a flexible daily schedule. My week with Yogi looks like lots walks around our neighborhood & fetch in the yard. Your dog will have so much fun! Your dog’s safety and happiness is my priority. I have experience with all sorts of dogs from those with specific behavioral needs such as anxiety to those with medical conditions. I will follow any instructions on how best to walk and care for them like they are my own.
“Pepper had a great time with Chelsi and her family! He especially loved playing with Leo, who is such a sweet boy. Chelsi is also very communicative, we loved all the photos and videos she sent during Pepper’s stay.”

About: Hi, I’m Pam! I only board one dog at a time, so your pup and my own dog, Butter, will be the only two dogs in the home during your stay — no crowding, no competing for attention, just real companionship. Butter is an 8 lb, 3-year-old Pomeranian who’s super friendly and loves having a playmate, so your dog gets a built-in buddy from day one. I work from home, so your dog isn’t just getting bookend walks — I’m checking in and giving attention throughout the entire day. And thanks to years spent caring for my chiweenie, Cannoli, who I raised to age 17, I’m comfortable handling medication and the extra care senior or medically-involved dogs sometimes need — not just the basics. At a Glance • Capacity: 1 guest at a time (just your dog + Butter) • Size limit: 25 lbs and under • Services: Boarding (overnight) and Day Care (daytime only) • Hours: 7am–9pm drop-off/pick-up (extended stays past the agreed window may incur an additional charge) • Home: 2-bedroom house, fully fenced yard, AC kept at a steady 72-74° • Household: smoke-free, alcohol-free, kid- and family-friendly Field Trip Add-On Beyond our regular neighborhood walks, I offer occasional field trips — a nearby dog park, a hike at Kenneth Hahn, or a beach outing. Available as an add-on for an extra fee (not guaranteed every stay, but something I genuinely enjoy when the schedule allows). Photos included! I work from home, so pet care fits naturally into my day rather than being squeezed around a 9-to-5. • Check-ins and attention throughout the day, not just bookend walks • Free play in the fenced yard between walks • Walks at 8am, lunchtime, and 4pm, plus an evening potty break around 8pm • Meals served in a designated eating area, separate from the play space • Playtime with Butter throughout the day • Medications given exactly as directed, on schedule • Dogs relax and sleep in our open living/dining space, each with their own dog bed • Photo and video updates every stay My home is set up to keep things calm, clean, and safe for your dog. • Fully fenced yard for secure off-leash play • Air conditioned, kept in the 72–75° range year-round • Smoke-free and alcohol-free household • Only one guest at a time — just your dog and my own dog, Butter • Meals served in a designated eating area • Hands-on medication and senior-dog care experience, from raising my chiweenie Cannoli to age 17
“Chevelle and Devin are so loving and kind, very accommodating to Diego. Amazing communication followed by daily pics of my fur baby. Thank you so much for all that you both do. I look forward to setting up more boarding for Diego. Thank you! 🥰”

About: Hi. My name is Chris, I'm a Los Angeles native, UCLA educated, energetic, trustworthy, young professional. I can say that i've always been an animal lover but never had the opportunity to express it until Itztli. Itztli is my first furball (4 year old Vizsla) and I keep him on his toes. He is has tons of energy that we expel by playing fetch, going to the dog park, and walking around the neighborhood. Itztli loves dogs and people. I love to walk and would love the opportunity to walk with your furry companion. I work from home and I'm extremely flexible as well. As a dog owner, I understand the need for constant reassurance and communication. I do whatever it takes to ensure that everyone is comfortable.

About: Talk about a long recess! The last time I was actively walking on Rover, I was still grinding through grad school. Fast forward a few years—I survived, got the degree, and now I’m a college professor! But with campus closed for the summer and seasonal breaks, I am thrilled to swap my lecture notes for a leash. To keep things smooth, I specialize 100% in neighborhood walks and drop-in pet sitting. I don't accept boarding or daycare requests at my location, meaning your pet gets my undivided attention and a premium, PhD-level walking /sitting experience right in their own familiar territory. I can't turn on off the educator, so I may work on basic training with your pets. I'm a performing artist, writer, and online professor, so I have time to care for your fur babies. I'm also self employed so I make my own schedule. I only care for pets in your home, and I follow your rules while making sure your pet feels loved and cared for because they should feel as comfortable as possible when you're not around.

“Marissa is excellent! She is very confident and thorough and gave me a great breakdown of how our dog did on her walk. Our dog loved her! We're so happy to have found a good dog walker nearby!”

About: My partner and I are life-long dog-owners and dog-lovers, we hope to open up our home to local pets! We currently have our own dog, Ruby (12 years old), who loves hanging around other dogs and plays very well with them. We already care for our pet pretty much 24 hours a day, so it is easy for us to add an extra set of paws to our daily routine. Shenelle currently works from home every day and I work from home 4 days a week, so we're able to make sure to offer around the clock care to the pets in our home. Rest assured that your dog will have our attention, as we both work from home and have a puppy monitor set up in our home. We have enough toys for our pets to share, and a small semi-fenced backyard. There is one opening that is not fenced, and if you would prefer we do not let your dog outside, we are happy to honor your wishes.
“I appreciate Johnny for taking care of my pup who is older and blind. Always has great communication with me even though sometimes due to my job I am not quick to respond. She appreciates you.”

About: I've had dogs since I was a teenager, and have been happily walking them, bathing them, *kind of* training them, and really loving them. I tend to work nights, but my mornings and off days will belong to you and your fur baby. My attention will be absolutely undivided. I can adapt to the rules of your house with no trouble! What you say goes, always. Feeding, walking, playing, I can do 'em all.
About: I love doggies and am extremely dedicated to making sure they are in a safe and loving environment. I’ve been taking my puppy for training classes and love to see him learn and grow. I also have a lot of patience and approach caring for my pup with positive reinforcement and tons of love. I work from home 3 days a week so I have flexibility in my schedule to dog sit during the work day. I schedule morning and afternoon walks as well as play time. I personally take my pup out for 3-4 walks a day ranging from (15-30 ) minutes. We have access to an open space right in our back yard and a big lawn for pups to sniff around in. We do not have a fenced yard so I leash my puppy. I also have a crate at home but to be completely honestly I do not mind cuddling with my pups and let them take naps on our couch or bean bag. Since I do have a puppy he gets along best with other doggies who like to play.

“Ryan is the best dog sitter in the area. I can trust him to take care of my little one without any worries. He always sends me lots of updates and pictures so even if I miss Rosie, I know she’s in the best hands.”

“Janae was amazing with my Holly during her 5 day stay. From the very beginning, she was kind, responsive, and clearly has a genuine love for dogs. She sent regular updates with the sweetest photos and videos—whether Holly was out for a walk or just relaxing, I could tell she was happy, comfortable, and totally at ease. It meant so much to know she was being loved and cared for like family. I’ll definitely be booking with her again!”

“Alicia and her boys are amazing! We are from out of state and have no one around in case of an emergency or anything like that so she knew I was very nervous leaving him. But they kept him safe and happy! Alicia was able to give him his nightly probiotic and his monthly simperica trio with no issues. The boys played with Ruger at his speed and are fantastic with dogs. I’m pretty sure Rugers mad he doesn’t have a boy to play with at home 😂. I fully trust them with Ruger and we can’t wait to send him back when we go on our cruise. I will be able to relax knowing he is safe and taken care of.”

“Lily had a great time with Natalie and her family. She had a lot of fun with the kids and the other dogs. Natalie was very communicative and made sure Lily was well taken care of.”

“Deanna was great with sending me updates and photos of how Loki was doing with his stay. I was in need of a regular sitter in DTLA and she’s definitely going to be my go to.”

About: There isn’t a time in my life where I ( or my husband) haven’t had at least one dog as a pet. Our 10 year-old is undoubtedly growing up the same way!🙌 From the age of 15, I would dog walk and pet sit for my neighbors and friends. I have lots of experience with senior dogs; and currently have a senior dog myself. I feel lucky because I’ve had so many dogs happily live way beyond their predetermined life expectancy years. What’s the secret? It’s love! I currently work part-time from home, so I am accessible throughout the day for walks, playtime, attention, and for administering medicine if necessary. My own dog is around for company and is friendly. Caring for dogs at my home is fairly easy. I have a large backyard for them to run around in- with both grass and concrete. Both areas provide the perfect amount of shade and sun. Your dog is free to roam around the house (if house-trained) and crating is provided as well! My home is dog-friendly. Your furry baby (dog) will be happy and loved ❤️
“Lacey was amazing with Noosha! She kept me updated with photos and took her on all sorts of adventures while I was on travel. Treated her like her own. Thanks Lacey!”

“Samuel is an exceptional sitter! He has a calm and compassionate energy, he kept us updated the entire time, and he took great care of our very unique, senior dog. We could tell that our (not-so-little) little guy was relaxed and happy during his stay with Samuel. We will absolutely be rebooking with him again. Highly recommend!”

About: I am the kind of person who'll always find a pet to pet or coo over no matter where I am; I always volunteer to watch my friends' animal friends when they can't because they're so freakin' cute. Throughout my life I or my family have had some pets, from hamsters to cats to dogs (and big ones!), so I know how to treat animals well and how to care for them. I love taking dogs to the park and run with them, play, and give them treats, but I'm careful not to spoil them too much no matter how much I want to. I know when they need to get their energy out and when to chill, when to give them personal attention and if they need a firm (but appropriate!) discipline. It will be a mutual love at first sight ! :D I freelance and have a flexible schedule. I don't always know which days but I usually will be able to tell at min 1-2 days in advance. I'm also generally available weekends. I cater to each dog. I have the friendliest dog of my own to hang with yours so I'm well versed in dog care. We love walks and hikes and hangs, either at home or backyard or beach! If a crate is required that's not a problem. I like to casually supervise them while letting them play and run around if close supervision isn't necessary.
