We had an initial visit and they were clearly open to learning and adapting to Edna's environment and home. Edna is lovable but rambunctious at first but that did not jolt or seem to effect S and G. They kept me fully abreast of everything about Edna during my vacation, from her diet, to exercise to her mood. You cannot go wrong with Shanelle and Gaelen! Highly highly recommend!”

About: My name is Susie and I have the biggest love for dogs, and animals in general! I have owned all types of pets my whole life and spent a lot of my childhood at my grandparents' farm. Growing up around pets/animals has taught me how to approach and understand them, no matter their personalities. I currently dog sit several dogs, including a couple labs, schnauzer, pit bull, dachshund, and a Maltese mix. I have gained so much experience over the years with these dogs and puppies. I have even potty trained a couple of them and taught them basic tricks! I also volunteer at a local animal shelter during my free time. I don't know what my life would be like without dogs! My day consists of pickup and drop off from school, cooking cleaning and spending quality time with my daughter. I will be caring for your pet throughout the day walking, power walking, jogging or a gentle stroll. Playtime, brushing, cuddles, fetch or tug-of-war & massage. My goal is to make your pet feel included, safe, loved, and at home while you’re away. I live in a back house it’s gated & converted into a triplex. I take plenty of walks (usually 4 a day). I have a balcony for sun bathing and fresh air + a bathroom /garden area in the back that I maintain for in between bathroom breaks. During extreme temperatures when it’s too hot to be on the concrete or pouring rain I take your pet for a bathroom break in the garden before it cools down or stops raining. I’m nearby pet-friendly parks & walking routes for safe adventures. I only allow one pet boarding at a time (unless they’re siblings) and it is requested by a pet parent. I keep a tidy home where pets feel at ease.

About: I've worked in 2 dog and cat boarding facilities as a feeder/ medicator and dog handler. I've groomed aswell so dont be afraid to ask for an exit bath! I'm willing to travel the distance to treat your fur baby as if it were my own I've always been an animal lover that's why I've chosen this as my daily profession and have worked in the animal care industry for 9 years strong now. A requirement of mine before booking is your pet MUST be kid friendly as I do have a child at home I will not risk. any questions feel free to message me! ☺️ I currently work part time as a hostess for a restaurant in playa vista so I have plenty of free time for cuddles and belly rubs with your fur baby! im not a huge believer in crate for dogs as I don’t use them for my own. but if needed I can provide a crate for safety when left home alone, my driveway gate is constantly open at home but all boarding pets will remain inside in a secured area (my room) for safety.

I personally trained her and have supported her through every stage of life from energetic puppy to loving senior dog. Caring for her for almost 15 years taught me patience, empathy, and adaptability along the way. I currently WFH on Mondays and Fridays, and generally stay home during the weekends. I am pretty active and could take dogs on long walks, but I’m also a homebody and could just chill. I have a small fenced front yard and a larger backyard where it’s easy to take frequent potty breaks and where dogs can feel free to play.

About: I’ve had dogs with my family my whole life of various breeds and sizes and have learned everything there is to know. I also have had my cat since she was a kitten and she is now 15 years old. I will make sure that I stay and play with your dog and make them feel comfortable before I go, and make sure they are well fed and happy. I currently work in office on the west side, but I have walked dogs on my way to the office, or watch on the weekends. I also work from home on Fridays and my schedule is typically flexible in the evenings and afternoons. I usually stay the night with pets in their home and make sure they have everything they need! I have constant contact with the owners and am very attentive to medications, schedules and house rules. I have had small dogs in my house with my cat, and they usually get along very well!

About: I currently volunteer at a dog shelter at least once a week. I help take the dogs on walks, clean up kennels, help out with open house/adoption events, and have taken a dog home to foster! I also have experience pet/house sitting for friends/family. I currently work full time. I’m home Friday-Monday and have to be in-person on Tuesdays-Thursdays. I’m usually home by 5pm on those days. I have every other Monday off (which I start off with an AM volunteer shift at the shelter). I’m flexible Friday-Monday & could do evenings Tuesday-Thursday. I have a fenced yard with a little back patio area. That’s great for play time or just relaxing. I live in a lovely neighborhood near a school. I’ve met so many dogs and babies just walking to and from the panadería at the corner. So it’s great for walks!
