“Minay is the best! She’s super reliable and communicative and great with my cat (who can be particular), taking good care of her and making her feel at ease. Highly recommend!”
“Malia is fantastic. She kept us updated on our pets and sent videos/photos after every visit, which we greatly appreciated, and gave us peace of mind during our time away from home. We wouldn’t hesitate to reach out to Malia again in the future for her to care for Renzo and Franklin again! Thanks Malia!!”

“Daniele was so great with my two cats. As soon as my cats met her they immediately liked her. Her kind demeanor made me very comfortable that she could take care of them. She sent me lots of photos each day and made sure they were fed, water bowl filled, litter box cleaned and lots of play and treats. Best sitter I could ever hope for for my two babies. 11/10!”

“Yasmin is amazing! I felt so comfortable being away with my dogs in her care. I received great updates with each drop-in. She’s a great communicator and I would not hesitate to hire her!”
“Karolina is friendly, punctual and brings such good energy to care for our older dog who just needs some gentle care. We appreciate Karolina so much!”

“Teresa was excellent and took VERY good care of my pup. I'm very grateful for the excellent service Teresa provided and would recommend to anyone anytime! Thank you again!”

“Samantha is amazing with our cat Zoey!! This is the second time that she cared for her while we were gone, and I couldn’t be happier! She goes above and beyond to make sure Zoey is healthy and happy and she sends the cutest pictures. We will definitely book again in the future, highly recommend! :)”

“Dani did an amazing job watching my cats over the holidays! She was easy to communicate with, provided daily updates, kept my place clean, and really bonded with my cats. I felt comforted knowing that she would be dropping in each day and that the cats really looked forward to her visits”

“This was my first time ever using Rover to find a pet sitter for my cat. Usually I have friends take care of him so I was nervous at first at leaving him with someone I didn’t know, but thank God I found Sarah!! She took care of my cat for a few weeks over the holidays. She’d stop by for thirty minutes each day to give him food/water, change his litter, and play with him. I came home to a happy and healthy kitty 🐱 Thank you Sarah!! 😊”
“Dominique was really great! Our cats have very different personalities and levels of shyness, and she was able to make sure they both got what they needed while we were out of town. She was super responsive and her updates and pictures were always the highlight of our mornings. I would really recommend Dominique!”

“I asked Rachel to help last minute and she was so kind to drop in on my kitties and help us with a few other tasks as well! So helpful, respectful, and communicative as well! Book her now!!!💕🥰”

“As usual, Brady is an amazing sitter. He accommodated us last minute and was incredibly kind and caring to us and our cats. We love the pictures after each visit! Will continue to rebook with him.”
“Lee was very nice. He took good care of our cat Bjorn for 4 days every morning. He updated us with images, played with him and cleaned his litter. He met with us prior to our booking at our convenience which was very helpful. We recommend Lee and will I’m sure book him in the future when we have to leave our little monster :)!”

About: I have over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. I’ve regularly pet-sat for friends and family, fostered animals, and provided attentive care for pets of all ages. I’m comfortable administering medications and following specific routines to ensure pets feel safe and well cared for. I’m also able to stay multiple days with pets when needed. I currently have a 15-year-old dog, so I’m especially patient, attentive, and experienced with senior pet care. I treat every animal like my own and prioritize comfort, consistency, and love. I work fully remote, which allows me to be flexible with my location and spend plenty of time with the pets I’m caring for as long as I have internet access. My job isn’t overly demanding, so I’m able to give pets consistent attention throughout the day, including feeding, walks or playtime, medication, and companionship. This flexibility allows me to easily stay multiple days with pets and maintain their normal routines while their owners are away. I care for pets by prioritizing consistency, comfort, and attention to their individual needs. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, medications, walks or playtime, and any specific instructions provided by the owner. I make sure pets feel safe and comfortable in their environment by giving them plenty of companionship, monitoring their behavior and health, and adjusting care as needed. With my own senior dog, I’m especially attentive to signs of discomfort or changes in behavior, and I bring that same level of patience and care to every pet I look after.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Los Angeles
Carley was great! I felt like my kitties were in good hands. She snagged some very cute photos of them and even my shy cat came out from under the bed during her visits which isn’t typical. So I’m sure they felt safe around her. I came home to happy, well fed and loved kitties which is what I was hoping for. She even went above and beyond and swept up their litter spillage so my floors weren’t horrible when I got back. Would book again!

Jessica was great! She stopped in to feed and spend time with my cat while I was on a work trip. She was communicative while I was gone, and flexible with the timing of one of her visits when my travel plans changed. I would definitely choose Jessica again for cat care!

Logan was so wonderful! I needed him to come and help out my two kitties very last minute and he was so communicative and helpful. I felt very reassured that my babies were well taken care of and he sent great pictures too. I look forward to booking Logan again soon.

Lindsey is the absolute best!!! I truly cannot say enough positive things. She gave my dogs so much love and attention, and provided both me and my partner separate, thorough text updates since we were away in different places. She also sent tons of adorable photos that really captured the dogs’ personalities and made me feel like she really got to know them. This was my first time using a Rover sitter in many years, as I’ve always had friends or family available to watch my dogs, but I just moved to LA and don’t have a reliable network of personal dog sitters, so I was really nervous about having a stranger take care of my boys while I was away, but Lindsey instantly made me feel at ease and like I’d known her forever. I would 100% trust her to watch my dogs again, and would recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will provide the same level of care to their pets that they would provide themselves.

I had sage watch over my princess for 2 weeks. And wow I cannot compliment her enough. She updated me about how my cat is doing, played with her, fed her well, and was very flexible. My cat loved her so much!! You can also tell she has so much experience by the way she takes care of other pets. She even talked to my cat and kept her company while I was away. Sage also respects all instructions and is very smart + has great memory. HIGHLY recommend and will keep using sage ❤️

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
