“We hired Heather for drop-in visits when a last-minute trip came up, and after our experience, I highly recommend her. Heather came right over for a meet-and-greet, and it took only seconds for her and Oliver to become best friends. In fact, when we came home from our trip, he told us that he wants to live with Mrs. Heather now. While we were gone, she provided Oliver with food (which has medications involved), cleaned his litter, played with him, brushed him, fed him treats, gave him love, and even cleaned up. Major Kudos: Oliver requires this transdermal medication applied within his ear. This is something that's difficult even for me to apply, so I sort of accepted it'd be impossible for anyone else. And yet, Heather was able to apply it—all four times. Oh, and all of the pictures she sent were like... professional. My cat looked like a model. So I mean, really, does it get better than that? Heather is a wonderful sitter, and unless Oliver chooses to move in with her, we'll be hiring her again.”

About: Hi, I’m Barbara. I grew up in a home of multiple dogs (specifically a West Highland White Terrier and a Black Lab) and have spent most of my adulthood lovingly caring for other people's pets, including my sister's two Black Labs. Because I travel frequently, I don't have a dog of my own right now, which means I pour all my canine affection and energy into my clients! I absolutely love long walks, coastal hikes, getting outside as much as possible, and finishing the day with plenty of snuggling if your pup is up for it. My home is perfectly situated in Santa Monica (Ocean Park), just one block from a fenced-in dog park, and directly in front of a popular non-fenced park where neighborhood dogs gather daily. About: Since 2015, I've had experience living with roommates with dog(s), dogsitting for friends and brother at their residences or boarding their dog while they've been away, and dog hosting and house/dog sitting for multiple dog owners here on Rover. I am able for dogsitting at your residence, drop in visits, dog walking, and boarding at mine. Usually, barring any predetermined plan, I am free weekdays after 4PM and more consistently free Friday night to Sunday night. During that time, I will be with the dog the majority/all of the time, depending on service/preference you and your dog(s) prefer. I work during the day with few days a week in office (flexible on days), but I have availability on only when I have no conflicting/concurrent work or social plans so the time and commitment to furry friend(s) will be priority number one. Boarded pets will have supervised free roam around the townhouse style apartment with a mini private backyard. I will be more or less with the dog(s) at all times (barring to go outside to pickup food, etc.). Schedule will be cleared to minimize any personal item and prioritize the time spent watching over and playing with the dog (s).
