“Blake was incredible. Our animals loved her, and she took wonderful care of them while we were gone— they both snuggled with her on her visits. We will definitely ask her to watch our pets again.”

“Jennifer has been great with my puppy. Very communicative and reliable, which I really appreciate. I feel comfortable knowing my puppy is being checked on and well cared for. Would recommend!”

About: I’m a lifelong dog lover and proud dog mom to a German Shepherd–Pitbull mix that I’ve raised and trained since he was 8 weeks old (he’s almost 4!). Through working with him and growing up with a reactive family dog, I’ve gained hands-on experience with training structure, different tools, and handling dogs with big personalities. That said, I’m comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and personalities! While I have experience handling large and high-energy breeds, many of my friends have small dogs, so I’ve spent plenty of time around little pups as well. My goal is always to meet each dog where they are and follow the care style that makes them feel safest and most comfortable. I treat every dog like they’re my own, and I’d love to help take care of yours and make sure they feel happy, safe, and comfortable while you’re away! I recently left my 9–5 to take some time to reset and figure out what I want to do next, which means I currently have a very flexible schedule and lots of time to spend with your pup! Dogs have always been a huge part of my life (including my own), so Rover felt like the perfect way to spend this time doing something I genuinely love. I’m very active and currently training for a marathon, so I love long walks. And if your dog enjoys running, I’d be happy to have a training buddy! (Ryder, my dog, unfortunately does not share that enthusiasm.) I currently offer dog walking and drop-in visits in clients’ homes. Since I have my own dog with a structured training routine, I’m not boarding dogs at my home right now. When caring for pets in your home, I focus on keeping their routine consistent and stress-free. I genuinely love clear instructions and lists, so if your dog has specific feeding schedules, training cues, tools, or little quirks, I’m happy to follow them exactly. (Have you seen the dog on TikTok that needs to go through a TSA check before getting into bed at night?!) I’m always mindful of leash safety, surroundings, and each dog’s comfort level during walks and visits. Whether your pup needs a long walk, structured exercise, or just some attention and playtime, I’ll make sure they feel safe and well cared for.
“Kellee is fantastic with my puppy Penny! She takes such great care of her, is punctual, and keeps me updated with photos and videos every visit. Kellee has only known Penny for a couple weeks but Penny already loves her. I highly recommend Kellee!”

About: Been taking care of dogs almost my entire life -- they are my favorite! I don't have a dog of my own, so I do Rover in the meantime :) I treat every pet like they are my own and am overjoyed when I have a pup around the house -- pretty much spending every second with them, walking, beach trips, puppy playdates and snuggles. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine—I love building time into my schedule for walks, feeding, playtime, and cuddles. Whether I’m working from home or out and about, I plan my day around giving pets the attention and structure they need to feel safe, happy, and loved. I do my best to match each pet’s usual routine, whether I’m at their home or they’re staying with me. I keep feeding and potty schedules consistent, provide daily exercise and play, and make sure they get plenty of affection and downtime. I pay close attention to their body language and needs, and I always prioritize safety, comfort, and communication with pet parents.
“Michelle was truly spectacular and I would, without hestitation book her again for the future. I'm personally a very thorough and particular person and those are traits that I noticed with Michelle from the get go. She asked all the right questions upon our first meeting. While she visited, she was attentive to all of Nala's needs from her playtime, to her meals/waters, and as well as the maintenance of her litter box. I received the cutest photos from her everyday, alongside notes of how Nala was doing. We really, really appreciated all the photos and check in notes - it made us feel at complete ease while being out of state. I also have to mention, that we left our place pretty spotless and came back to zero-minimal messes/litter scattered about - really appreciated this as well! Thank you so much for everything Michelle! Nala can't wait to see you again <3”

About: I decided to start professional dog walking because I was blessed to be raised with two beautiful dogs and because of knowing that bond I can't think of a better part-time job for me. I am a college student and work 20hrs a week in retail but would prefer to be hanging with your pal instead. My golden retriever, Enzo passed away a year ago and my first dog, Rex passed away 3 years ago of old age. I miss their presence and energy tremendously. I have been dog sitting for family and friends and their friends for three years. Through that experience I’ve learned the importance of keeping pets comfortable, safe, well-exercised, and on their normal routines. I’m patient, attentive, and happy to match each dog’s personality and energy level—whether that means active walks, playtime, or a calm companion pace. I take pride in being dependable, communicative, and treating every dog like they’re part of my own family. I am a college student, and I have a flexible schedule. I am located in Santa Monica, my school schedule varies. I am free early mornings, some early afternoons and most evenings. I am also available on weekends. I make it a priority to keep my dogs entertained, fed on schedule and active. I live in a very dog friendly area and it is important to know the dog you are tending to and their social habits. I am very good at reading a dog's body language and yes owners too. Sometimes owners are on the phone and not paying attention to the dog next to them. Knowing your dog's social habits will help me to manage encounters with other dogs while on walks. Keeping the dog moving is most healthy for the dog's health and their mood. I love to play with dogs and keep them entertained with games and toys if they like that.
“Jason has just be the best petsitter one could possibly asked. He has been very reliably coming to feed and play with our two cats, sent outstanding pictures (always heartwarming when you are far away from your furry friends), and great updates in a daily basis. We would definitely book Jason’s services again whenever needed. Thank you very much Jason”

“I could not have had a better experience as a first time user here on this app. I loved Alyssa’s incredible communication and flexibility. Would absolutely use her again.”

“Jonathan was great with the dogs and so, so helpful. He took both my dogs for a walk (even though the drop-in was just for one), and bathed Fennec like a pro. It was the dog’s first time getting blow-dried, and he didn’t care for that part. It took both Jonathan and me to hold him and was no easy feat! Friendly, knowledgeable, great with dogs.”

“Jessica was amazing! Took great care of my pup with multiple updates throughout the day and went the extra mile to make sure he was happy. Especially loved the extra pictures as well! 10/10 couldn't recommend her enough!”

About: I have hands, on experience caring for animals at a veterinary clinic in my home country, Argentina. In this role, I was responsible for feeding, bathing, walking, and monitoring dogs to ensure their comfort and well-being. I also helped create a calm and positive environment for the animals, making sure they felt safe and cared for at all times. This experience taught me how to understand animal behavior, be attentive to their needs, and handle different temperaments with patience and care. I am reliable, energetic, and truly enjoy spending time with pets, treating them as if they were my own At the moment, I have full-time availability, which allows me to be very flexible with my schedule. I can easily adapt to morning, afternoon, or evening walks and pet care sessions depending on the client’s needs. I am currently focused on working in pet care, so I can organize my daily and weekly routine around bookings without any conflict. This gives me the ability to be reliable, punctual, and fully committed to each pet I take care of. I am very motivated to build a consistent schedule and provide ongoing care, whether it is daily walks, occasional visits, or longer-term pet sitting. I always prioritize the safety, comfort, and well-being of every pet in my care. I make sure to follow the owner’s instructions carefully and maintain a calm, secure, and positive environment at all times. I am attentive to each pet’s behavior and needs, and I adapt my care style depending on their personality, energy level, and routine. I am fully available to provide different types of services, including dog walking, drop-in visits, and overnight pet sitting in the client’s home if needed. When staying in a client’s home, I treat it with full respect and responsibility, making sure the pet feels safe and comfortable in their familiar environment. My goal is to build trust with both the pet and the owner by being reliable, caring, and consistent. I always aim to create a stress-free and loving experience for the animals under my care.
About: I've been pet sitting for many years and have a lot of experience with dogs and cats. I work from home full time and my husband is retired so our flexible schedules allow us to spend quality time with your pet during the day, for overnight boarding, and extended stays. We provide a quiet, loving place and do not leave dogs alone during their stay with us, making us a good fit for animals that need constant care. Since we live in an apartment, we can only take dogs who do not bark a lot and are able to settle down for periods between walks. All pets can make themselves at home, are allowed on the furniture, and can sleep in our king size bed with us if they want to (so far everyone has!). We have doggie stairs for little ones, lots of clean, comfy blankets, as well as balls and toys to play with. We also love to walk and are happy to provide as many outside breaks as necessary, as well as long energetic walks for dogs who enjoy exercise. **Pick-up and/or Drop-off** is available for an additional fee. Price depends on distance. If interested in this service please inquire and I can add the fee to your invoice. Since I work from home, I am always here to pay attention to animals throughout the day. I am able to go outside as often as necessary, and can take dogs for many potty breaks, several short walks and one or two long energetic walks if needed. Pups who prefer to nap and snuggle most of the day are fine too! I have cared for young to senior dogs and cats, and have experience with special diets and administering medications, including pills, liquids, transdermals, subcutaneous injections and fluids. I am patient with old and shy pets and I'm happy to walk dogs in a stroller or front pack if needed. My apartment is also a safe place for cats with lots of windows for bird watching and a security screen they can look through. I and I am a licensed and insured pet care business.
“Wow! I am so grateful we found Birutė on Rover. She’s an absolutely amazing sitter - best we’ve ever had for our cat. So professional, responsive, observant and caring. 100/10, thank you so much Birutė!”

“Anna is so wonderful and so patient with Morgan! She comes when she says she will and Morgan warmed up to her very quickly. I feel much better knowing Morgan gets to see her when I have my long days away from home!”

As always Samanta was amazing! I had a big time difference on my trip this time which made real time communication tricky but had no stress as I knew my furbabies were in the best hands not to mention I always had their report card to look forward to with all the action shots ❤️

Arzu is calm, patient, knowledgeable and engaged my pup so beautifully. I also learned a lot as a first time dog owner from Arzu about training recommendations and the rules of the road to form a trusting and loving relationship with my adopted pup. Highly recommend having Arzu watch your best friend!

My rabbit Toast almost never likes strangers but he warmed up to Max so quickly! Max was super attentive and made sure Toast was well taken care of and got his meds. He's incredibly professional and detail-oriented; I would love to have Max drop in to look after Toast again.

Kacey was excellent with my puppy! My puppy is only 13 weeks old. This was the first time Skye has had someone watch her. Prior to the pet visit, Kacey was kind enough to meet Sky for 5 minutes. During the visit she played with her and also gave me behavioral details. Thank you so much!

Savanna did an incredible job taking care of our cat, Kiko! He can be an anxious cat yet she made him feel so comfortable and they bonded so well. She took care of all of his feedings and cleanings, and we felt very at ease with her taking care of him. Great communicator as well. Highly recommend

I’m really glad I had Karlie as my cat sitter. My cats seemed very happy and well cared for. Karlie is very sweet, reliable, and respectful—she followed instructions carefully and spent quality time with them. After some disappointing experiences in the past with other sitters on Rover, I finally feel like I found someone I can trust. I would definitely book her again!

Emilie did an excellent job taking care of my cat with drop-in visits during a trip! This was my first time using Rover and Emilie put my mind at ease with great communication and picture updates at each visit. She was reliable, trustworthy, and the pictures clearly showed that my cat really enjoyed spending time with her! I would definitely request to have Emilie take care of my cat again in the future!

I was nervous about leaving my dogs and Ann came through to relieve all my anxiety around it. She was so friendly, communicative, and timely. I got photos that spoke to what they were up to and how well they were being cared for. When my dogs met Ann she was totally unphased by my jumper of a dog and jumped right in to interact with my two dogs directly which I appreciated. They’ll be so excited to see Ann again!

Laura is the BEST! She provides great written updates after each visit and amazing photos:) I left my 15 year old cat with her recently for a long 10-day trip; since my cat is old, he requires medications and food modifications x2 a day and I have complete trust in Laura with that. My cat is always very happy when I’m back and does look worse for the wear all thanks to Laura’s care. She is really the best.
