I LOVE dogs and cats – they're my spirit animals! For me, caring for, playing with, and simply being with pets brings a ton of joy. I treasure the chance to be that human who treats your furry family member with kindness, respect, care, and compassion. My connection with animals started early. Growing up in Lithuania, I'd secretly share food with the neighborhood's stray dogs. At age six, I got my beloved dog, Fly ('Musė' in Lithuanian), and poured my time into her care and play. As an adult, I volunteered at a dog shelter, gaining experience with a wide variety of breeds, personalities, and temperaments through regular walks. I've also had extensive experience caring for cats, which included playtime, litter box duty, grooming, and endless cuddles! What sets me apart is my natural ability to connect with animals. I'm often the one who can calmly approach a runaway cat and coax them back, and it's not uncommon for random dogs at the park to make a beeline for me – an affection I'm always thrilled to reciprocate. Honestly, it's not just dogs and cats; even horses and ducks seem to sense my calm energy and often approach me!

My Downtown Santa Monica studio offers a safe, cozy, and comfortable home away from home for your pet. The space is clean, uncluttered, and free of roommates or household distractions, so your furry family member can relax with ease. The neighborhood outside can be lively, with the usual city sounds (sirens, cars, etc.), so please let me know if your pup is sensitive to noise. Inside, however, it’s peaceful and secure. Thanks to my flexible schedule, your pet will enjoy plenty of supervision, companionship, and care throughout their stay, helping ease any anxiety about being away from home. I’m also committed to following your instructions carefully and will send you regular photo and text updates so you always know how your pet is doing.

Birutė was great with our cat! She sent copious cute pictures and made sure he was well-cared-for while we were gone on a trip. She is communicative, responsible, and caring.
Birutė is AMAZING!!! She took care of my Frenchie in my home and took great care of him and my home. He has a complex medication and feeding schedule and she followed it perfectly. He was happy, healthy, and living his best life and she sent a ton of photos to let me know!
She handled 3 dogs, made sure they felt comfortable!

Birute was great with my cat! She had all the right questions at the meet & greet and so lovely to chat with. I could tell my cat was comfortable around her. Very glad Birute was there when I wasn’t.
Birutė was extremely attentive and kind to our two cats while we were gone for over a week. She went above and beyond to help us when we ran into some other issues in the house (loud noises that were disruptive for our cats) while we were gone. Highly recommend!

Schedule
Pet care fits easily into my routine! Working from home in Downtown Santa Monica means I have an extremely flexible schedule, and will be home a lot of the time.
