Since I work from home I am able to go outside as often as necessary, and can take as many short or long walks as your dog desires. If they prefer to nap and snuggle most of the day that's fine too! I love to take photos and can send updates as often as you like.

Feel free to let me know anything about your pets likes, dislikes, quirks, bad behaviors so I can understand them better and make them more comfortable and happy. FOR WALKS: - Do they like to meet other dogs? Are they better with male or female dogs? - Do you have any commands you'd like me to use while walking your dog? - Are they prone to eating things they find on the ground? I watch out for that anyway! DAYCARE / OVERNIGHT stays with me: - Are they potty trained? I don't mind if they are pee pad trained. I have easy to clean floors throughout the apartment. - How often do they need to go out for potty breaks? I can go as often as necessary. - Do they have a feeding schedule? Do they get treats? Any food sensitivities? - Do they have a crate for sleeping or using as comfort zone? - Do they take any medication? I am comfortable giving meds if you give me clear instructions. - How much do they bark? I can't have dogs here that bark frequently but happy play barking and asking to go out barks are fine. I don't leave dogs alone when I care for them so the dogs I watch rarely bark.
A typical day
Dogs and I have fun taking walks around the neighborhood, going to local parks, playing ball outside and inside. And there will be lots of snuggles of course! I tailor activities to your pet's preferences, whether they are shy and quiet, or outgoing and energetic. As you can see from my profile I love to take pet pictures and I'm happy to send you lots of updates throughout the day!

I'm new to Rover but I've been taking care of animals my whole life, from my own cats and dogs, to neighbor's pets, and their friend's pets. I work from home full time and my flexible schedule allows me to spend quality time with your pet during the day, for overnight boarding, and extended stays. My husband and I provide a quiet, loving place and do not leave your pet/s alone during their stay with us. Animals can make themselves at home, are allowed on the furniture, and can sleep in the bed if they want to. We have doggie stairs for little ones, lots of clean, comfy blankets, as well as balls and toys to play with.

Heather has been my neighbor for 30 years and has looked after several of my pets over the years. She always arrived within the time frame my doggies needed for their walks. She is very dilligent with her updates detailing how many treats they had & what time my dog did their "business" as well as any fun observations from her visit/dog walk. Those thoughtful notes always put me at ease after leaving my pet alone. On the days she visited I would come home to a happily napping dog. There is nobody else I would trust more with the keys to my home & the care of my pets than Heather!
