About: With over a decade of experience caring for both small and large dogs, we’re excited to welcome your furry friend into our home! Jess began her journey in pet sitting right in her neighborhood, and both of us have grown up with dogs, making us exceptionally comfortable catering to each pup’s unique needs. In the past four years, we’ve had the pleasure of fostering three wonderful dogs through various rescues: a Cane Corso, a Golden Retriever puppy, and a Chihuahua mix. We have hands-on experience with puppies and dogs requiring medication multiple times a day—Max even cared for a seriously ill puppy needing round-the-clock care and eight doses of medicine daily. Our dog-sitting experience extends to friends, family, and word-of-mouth referrals, giving us a well-rounded background in providing attentive care. Think of us as the “cool aunt and uncle” your dog will adore! Whether your pup is laid-back or full of energy, we’ll match their vibe and provide personalized attention. We take pride in offering one-on-one care, ensuring that your dog receives our undivided attention and feels at ease without the distraction of other pets. We’re also experienced in handling dogs with behavioral issues with other animals. Jess’s passion for photography means you’ll receive plenty of adorable photos of your pup while you’re away! Our rates reflect our extensive experience and the high-quality, individualized care we provide. We’re excited to offer bathing services for an additional fee. If you’re interested in this service or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. We’re here to help. We look forward to making your dog’s stay enjoyable and memorable! Max works from home full-time, so your furry friend will have someone with them around the clock! Jess works until 4 PM Monday through Friday and her office is just 10 minutes away, ensuring she can easily check in on your pup during the day. We’re happy to accommodate both short-term and long-term stays, providing flexibility to meet your needs. We're always delighted to arrange a "Meet & Greet" before your stay! Just a quick note: we can only schedule these if you have a booking request with us. Looking forward to meeting you! Our apartment is spacious, clean, and comfortable in a secure 24-unit gated complex. Access is by key, ensuring safety and privacy. Our apartment offers plenty of room for your pup, including space for crate-training if needed. We have water and food bowls available for use—just let us know ahead of time. Our safe, residential neighborhood features large sidewalks, and directly across the street is Fox Hills Park, perfect for additional walks and playtime. We promise to care for your dog with the same love and attention as if they were our own. To ensure each pet receives the highest level of care, we currently accept only one pet at a time.
“Koko was an amazing sitter who came and fed my cat on time each day and was sure to send me plenty of photos! Also amazing at communicating in a timely manner! Highly recommend!”

About: Hi! My name is Kellin, and I’m a loving and experienced dog walker and sitter based in Culver City, CA. I’ve been caring for pets professionally since 2018, and I’m also a certified Pet First Aid provider, so your furry friend is always in safe hands. I work from home as a Pet Portrait Artist (my Etsy shop is DigitalArtbyKell), which means I have a flexible schedule and can dedicate focused, quality time to your dog. 💛 I’m a true animal lover who believes all dogs should be loved, safe, and spoiled! With me, your dog will get personalized care: I never walk dogs in groups, so your pet gets my full attention. I always check for fresh water, give treats (with your permission), and pay close attention to their needs and energy. I avoid unknown dogs during walks to keep your pup safe and stress-free. I love building trust through consistency, calm energy, and lots of affection. Whether it’s a walk, a drop-in visit, or overnight care — your dog will be treated like one of my own. Let’s connect! I’d love to meet you and your four-legged friend 🐶✨ I’m a full-time dog walker and sitter, which means your dog will receive my full attention and care — never rushed, never overlooked. I focus on quality over quantity, offering personalized walks and visits based on your dog’s specific needs, energy level, and personality. ✨ I truly believe every dog deserves to feel safe, loved, and seen. Please message me before booking, as I’d love to meet you and your dog first to make sure we’re a great match. I value connection and trust — both with you and your pup! 🦴 Bonus: I provide daily updates with photos and notes about your dog’s walks, behavior, potty breaks, and anything I notice — so you feel connected even when you’re away. 🌎 I’m also bilingual — hablo español, so feel free to reach out in the language you feel most comfortable with. Let’s create a schedule that works best for you and your furry friend. I can't wait to meet you both! 🐾 At this time, I only offer in-home care at my client’s residence. When caring for your dog in their own environment, I make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved — just like if you were home. I follow your instructions closely, keep their routine consistent, and pay attention to every detail: from fresh water and feeding schedules to playtime, cuddles, and daily walks. I respect your space, keep things clean, and always leave your home just as I found it — or even better! If your dog has special needs, medications, or preferences, I’m happy to accommodate them with love and care. I’m also certified in Pet First Aid, so your pup is in safe hands. Let me know what your dog loves — I’ll make sure they get lots of it! 🐾💛
“Emily was very responsive and professional while arranging care for my kitty, Jan, for a last-minute trip I had to take. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a dedicated animal lover to look after their pets. I will definitely be contacting Emily in the future for pet care.”

“I was away for a few weeks and Shibiyin took great care of my cat!! She made sure he got lots of cuddles and play time and was also very flexible and accommodating with building entry which I appreciated a lot. She also made sure the litter was clean every day and even helped clean when he threw up. Normally I come back from trips and my cat is screaming for attention but this time he wasn’t so I take that as he must’ve received lots of love while I was gone! Definitely recommend ☺️”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I got my first dog when I was 9 years old. In college, I was responsible for taking care of my roommates dog, which included daily walks, feeding, and baths. After graduating, I volunteered at my local animal shelter as a dog walker and would occasionally foster a dog as well. I have my own little pup, Roo, who is a 1 year old Aussiedoodle who has my heart. Animals bring so much joy and love into our lives and deserve to be looked after with love and care. I am currently working full time in a remote position. My work schedule is very flexible, so I can give your pet the attention they need. My apartment has a small yard that we use to let our dog lounge when we are relaxing at home. We are in a great area, and frequently walk our dog along the bike path. As for taking care of your pet in your own home, I am big on respecting other peoples’ space and am a very clean and organized person.
About: I have had my dog for 10 years now and before, during, and currently have taken care of families, friends, and neighbors dogs. I don't have special skills, but I am responsible, diligent, and really love animals. I am a single mom who is taking care of my sick parents, therefore I can't have a normal job. I can take your dogs on fun walks while my son is in school. I found out through my dog that exercise and love is most important. I will give your dog lots of TLC and take care of him/her to the best of my ability.
“This is our first time working with Shaniya. Her communication was great, super responsive and flexible. Our dogs have not been cared for by someone outside of the family and Shaniya did a great job working with them. They are also elderly, picky eaters, and one needs medication and she did a great job with them. Would definitely work with her again.”

“YaYun was fantastic! She got along great with Calpico and made sure to send pictures with every visit. She was very consistent with her proposed times that she would be there. The apartment was in great condition upon return and she even helped bring in some packages.”

“Amanda did a great job taking care of my diabetic cat for me while away on vacation. She was prompt, thorough, flexible, friendly and best of all my cat loved her! Thank you Amanda for everything!”

First time having Jacqueline over to house sit my dog 🫶🏼 , first time meeting I felt great vibes from Jacqueline and absolutely felt comfortable leaving my dog . I would definitely recommend and rebook again 💯. Thank you so much Jacqueline for taking care of my Lilo 💘

Anya was amazing! Our usual sitter had a last-minute schedule change, so we needed someone quickly, and she stepped right in. She was super communicative the whole time and kept us updated, which let us actually relax and enjoy our trip. The boys were happy and well cared for, and everything went smoothly. Her great reviews are well earned, and I'd highly recommend her to anyone. Thanks so much, Anya!

I had a lot of peace of mind leaving my two cats under Mutsumi’s care. She had quick responses and was very thorough in updating with pictures for all the pet tasks (took pictures of clean kitty litter, filled water bowls, etc). My more social cat got good play time and she always checked up on the shy/hiding cat each visit while giving the shy one space. We had an unexpected heat wave while I was away, and she was also kind enough to turn on the AC for my cats exactly as requested.

10/10 recommend Courtney! She was absolutely wonderful with both of our cats! She came over for a meet and greet beforehand and was incredibly attentive throughout the weekend. One of our cats needed medication twice a day, and Courtney was always prompt, took extra time to write down instructions, and sent us updates after every visit. Our older cat, Bella, is naturally very shy and can get easily spooked. She unexpectedly swatted at Courtney (despite her being very friendly during the meet & greet), but Courtney handled the situation wonderfully! She was incredibly understanding and patient, giving Bella plenty of space and letting her warm up at her own pace throughout the weekend. We felt so comfortable knowing our girls were in such great hands. Will absolutely book Courtney again!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.
Before booking, confirm:
- the timing, length, and frequency of visits;
- the care instructions the sitter should follow;
- which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
- how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.
Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
