About: My family has had dogs my entire live and I grew up with shepherds and retrievers, so I’m confident taking care of dogs of all sizes! Now that I live in LA, I have a (foster-fail) dog of my own, Pepper from a local rescue I used to frequently foster from. She’s a 3 year old playful gal, who loves every dog she’s met! My schedule is pretty flexible, as I currently work part-time from the office (3-4 hrs on the week days). I am happy to communicate through text to figure out for what works best for you and your dog. As I work from office part time (3-4 hrs on the weekdays) so I’m around most of the day to give your dog some extra attention and pop out for potty breaks and walks with your pup frequently.. I have a dog of my own Pepper, so we are already going out for walks or going to the park during the day. Plus she makes for a great play mate! I live with my adopted dog Pepper in apartment building in the midst of a lovely walking neighborhood where your dog could get plenty of exercise. About: I have over 15 years of animal care experience in accredited zoos, vet clinics and rescues working hands on with a variety of species. I had a lot of peace of mind leaving my two cats under Mutsumi’s care. She had quick responses and was very thorough in updating with pictures for all the pet tasks (took pictures of clean kitty litter, filled water bowls, etc). My more social cat got good play time and she always checked up on the shy/hiding cat each visit while giving the shy one space. We had an unexpected heat wave while I was away, and she was also kind enough to turn on the AC for my cats exactly as requested.

10/10 recommend Courtney! She was absolutely wonderful with both of our cats! She came over for a meet and greet beforehand and was incredibly attentive throughout the weekend. One of our cats needed medication twice a day, and Courtney was always prompt, took extra time to write down instructions, and sent us updates after every visit. Our older cat, Bella, is naturally very shy and can get easily spooked. She unexpectedly swatted at Courtney (despite her being very friendly during the meet & greet), but Courtney handled the situation wonderfully! She was incredibly understanding and patient, giving Bella plenty of space and letting her warm up at her own pace throughout the weekend.
