About: I grew up having many dogs in my family of all shapes, sizes, and behaviors. When I was 16, I started volunteering with walking dogs at shelters. My friends also trust me to sit their dogs often. My family had many cats growing up too, and I currently have one older lady cat, who we love. I’m excited to have more pets in my life through Rover. I am home more often due to a career change, and I love to walk a lot every day. This makes me available for at home care, or drop by visits & walks. We allow pets on our furniture and beds, or we have space if someone wanted to bring their crate. We have a cat who would mostly hide from any other pets, but we can keep the animals completely separate if need be.

“Melanie was a great example of finding an excellent person at just the right time to sit for my dog. As I wanted to find the right type of person for my most important possession, my dog. Melanie had the difficult task of dog sitting my pup on 4th of July. She stopped by 4 times and sent pics of my dog as well as making sure she left the Radio on overnight, as to distract my dog from the nights fireworks. All went well and I had no problems with her stopping by in my home for those visits . Melanie is very thoughtful, loves dogs, asks good questions when prepping her on my dog’s routines. Melanie is Someone I feel I can trust, who also cares very much about dogs. I feel very lucky to have met her and as I felt comfortable to give her keys to my home, as well.
