About: Hi! My name is Megan, and I'm a college student home for the summer with a flexible schedule thanks to my online classes. I'm a huge animal lover—especially cats—which is why you'll notice a lot of my photos are with cats! I've been caring for my mom's boss's cats for the past 2 years, helped care for and walk my close friend’s two dogs, and am currently walking the lovely Golden Lab on my profile every day in my hometown in the Bay Area. I’m moving to the Los Angeles area on the 29th and will be able for all services in LA after! I know every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I take the time to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you're away. I may be younger than some sitters, but I'm dependable, patient, and genuinely excited to gain more experience doing something I love. Once the semester starts and I move back to LA on the 29th, my class schedule will be very flexible, with Tuesdays and Fridays off completely. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday I have classes in the morning. My busier day, Monday, only consists of about 4 hours of class from 9-1:30 so, even at my busiest I am available for afternoon and evening services! I always do my best to maintain every pet’s daily routine to make them feel as comfortable as possible while you’re away.. Whether I'm caring for your pet in your home for an extended period of time or stopping by for quick visits, I’ll follow your instructions carefully regarding feeding, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and anything else you need. I believe every pet deserves patience, attention, and plenty of love, and I'll make sure they are well cared for. About: I’ve had my own cats since birth and have taken care of dogs and other animals for friends, neighbors, etc since before I can remember. I can walk, trim nails, brush, bathe, and give medication if needed to the pet. I am currently taking a year off with no commitments, so I am available for pet care any day of the week at anytime. Very responsive, very detail oriented. Asked lots of great questions at the meet and greet beforehand and at the first drop in. Happily did everything I asked to take care of my two cats with very specific needs. They were comfortable with her quickly and so was I.
Veronica is amazing! She's incredibly kind, caring, and patient. Most importantly, my pups have taken to her so quickly, which is rare because they both have a bit of stranger danger at first. My dog, Chance, has Addison's disease, and I love that Veronica has a vet tech background. She truly understands his medical needs, knows how to help keep his stress levels as low as possible, and can recognize the early signs of stress. It's such a comfort knowing she's fully capable of administering his eye drops and eye ointment, and can even assist me with his hormone injections. I feel incredibly lucky to have found Veronica. Knowing my pups will be in such knowledgeable, loving hands while I'm away gives me complete peace of mind. We already have a few more trips and drop-ins scheduled with her. I couldn't recommend her more highly!
