For fish - I’ve had a tank through my whole life (freshwater) and recently have had saltwater, taking a close eye on their needs and tank maintenance. 🐾🐠🐟 I currently work full-time on weekdays, but I’m available for morning and evening check-ins during the week. My weekends are fully open, so I’m happy to help however I can then! While I care for a saltwater tank full of marine life at home, I always make sure to dedicate plenty of focused time to meet—and go beyond—the needs of your furry companions. About: I’ve loved animals my entire life and grew up with four dogs, so I know how special it is to have a furry friend around. Throughout college, I also lived with roommates who had cats, which gave me plenty of experience caring for and spending time with cats as well. I’m an extremely active person and genuinely love walking—I walk the Strand every day and go for walks every morning before work and again after work. I walk at least 5 miles a day and often up to 8 miles on weekends, when I also enjoy longer hikes. I’d love having a furry companion join me! I also have a fenced-in backyard and live just 10 minutes from my office, so I can easily come home for potty breaks and give your pet plenty of attention throughout the day. I’ll treat your pet like my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for! I’m in the office Monday–Friday from 8 AM–5 PM, but I have plenty of flexibility around my work schedule. I live only about 10 minutes from my office, so I can easily drive home during my hour-long lunch break for potty breaks, feeding, or extra attention. I’m home nearly every evening and almost every weekend. I also love staying active and go for a walk every morning before work and every evening after work, so I’d love having a furry friend join me on my daily walks! I don’t have any other pets of my own, so your pet will have my full attention while staying with me. I have a fenced-in backyard where they can safely get some fresh air and play, and my apartment is always clean, organized, and pet-friendly with nothing dangerous or tempting for them to get into. I also have hardwood floors throughout, making cleanup easy and keeping the space comfortable for pets. I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and right at home while following their normal routine and any specific instructions you provide.

About: Pet care is already built into my everyday life. Three times a week I walk two 60-lb puppy Rhodesian Ridgebacks that I’ve successfully trained to walk calmly side by side. Every day I also take my own Black Mouth Cur on social outings to the dog park or dog beaches at Rosie’s Beach and Huntington Beach — over the last two years I’ve successfully socialized him to stop being aggressive. Mornings and late afternoons are set aside for client walks and drop-ins, while evenings and weekends open easily for longer visits or overnights. About: Hi, I’m Lillian. I’m originally from Chicago and I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and have always had a dog or two or three in our home. I started helping care for my sister’s 3 dogs when I was younger and later on my parent’s dog when they would travel. I’ve also helped care for many of my friends pets when they are out of town. I decided to join Rover in 2023 to extend my pet sitting services beyond family and friends and since then I have enjoyed caring for so many dogs in the Windy City. I absolutely love what I do and I always strive to provide the absolute best care to pup while you’re away so you don’t have to stress! I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule and am able to provide at least 3 walks a day for daily exercise and I always give plenty of cuddles and scritches for being a good boy or girl. I can also work anywhere that has wifi so it makes house sitting a lot easier. I always try to stick to your dog’s schedule as much as possible and adhere to their normal routine to facilitate familiarity and comfort which makes for a stress-free pup! I will take great care of your dog as if they were my own! I always make sure they are well cared for and loved.

About: I am known for my passion for taking care of dogs. For me, to know a canine is to love a canine. I have experience taking care of dogs who want to play for hours as well as couch potatoes. I also have experience caring for senior dogs with health issues. The great news is that Monday through Friday my schedule is flexible from mid-morning on, so I have plenty of time to focus on your dog. On the weekends I am available some afternoons and evenings. I have a small fenced in yard. We are a couple blocks from the park and from the strand, so plenty of options. I have a big wooden kennel that works for most dogs if they want quiet time.

I have worked at dog day care facilities and rehab clinics for sick / injured wild animals, where I received training in CPR, medication administration and behavioral training. I work full time as an animal care taker from our home with my partner. This is our full time job and we absolutely love every minute of it. I have a fenced yard with 2 cats and 2 dogs at home for plenty of socialization and playtime. I can also crate your pup if needed, as well as separate my animals from them if needed as well.

About: There is nothing I love more than dogs! I volunteer at animal shelters where I walk dogs, and have even travelled to different countries going around and feeding the stray dogs all over! I love caring for them and doing whatever it takes to make them happy and feel loved. I have two dogs of my own that i walk for an hour every day and would love to walk some more as well! I am a full time therapist but have a very flexible schedule. I work from around 2/3 and stay until around 6/7 so am only out of the house for around 4 hours max. Walking dogs would be the perfect thing for me to do with the extra time I have in the mornings and afternoons! I can walk them, check in and play with them, or house them. I’m also very open to cats I love them just as much as I love dogs :) I’m here to make your dog (or cat) happy and make your life easier! I am only at the office from around 3-4 hours a day at the most, so have plenty of time to take care of animals. I live in an apartment so I take any animal under my care on as many walks on possible. I try to take dogs on at least 3-4 walks every day. If I ever stay in a client's home I would still do the same!
