About: Animals have always been a big part of my life, and caring for them is something I truly enjoy. I have over 10 years of experience looking after dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. From daily walks and feeding to playtime, cuddles, and keeping routines consistent, I make sure every pet feels happy and comfortable while you’re away. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I’ll treat yours with the same love, patience, and attention I would give my own. I’m currently a part-time server at Olive Garden and taking summer college classes, but I have a flexible schedule with plenty of free time throughout the week. I’m available for drop-in visits, dog walking, and pet sitting, and I always do my best to accommodate my clients’ schedules. I’ll make sure your pet gets the attention, care, and companionship they deserve while you’re away. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I always follow each pet’s routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and any special instructions. I treat every pet as if they were my own by providing a safe, calm, and loving environment. I’ll also keep you updated with messages and photos, so you can feel confident knowing your pet is happy and well cared for.
“Brittany did a great job with my furry trio. I loved the photos that were sent over so I could see how happy they were. I got home and the pups were happy and the place looked great. Thank you soo sooo much!”

“Caitlin did a great job with all our cats! This was our first time having someone petsit them and I was so at ease during our vacation with Caitlin’s updates and cute pics she sent of our pets!”

About: I’ve been raising furry friends since i was 7. I’ve been accountable for raising 3 liters of cats from their birth to adulthood. Not only do i take care of them, but they take care of me, too. Im very patient, active, and attentive with pets to ensure they’re healthy and happy. I’m able to be active outdoors to ensure they’re getting exercise and exploring. I know how to get along with any kind of personality and make them feel comfortable. I do not discriminate. I love them all! Good with administering medicine, clipping nails, etc., if needed. I’m happy to provide companionship and be there next to a pet at all times. I’m a firm believer that their well-being is as important as ours. I go to school part time and will fit your pet into my routine with dedicated time slots to take care of your pet and their needs. I can ensure your pet is in a comfortable environment, get regular exercise, kept up with routines, and following specific instructions provided while monitoring their health.

About: Hi! I’m a fellow dog mom who has booked walks and drop-ins for my own dog, so I know what it feels like to leave your pup to a stranger, and the love you have for them in doing so. Which is why I prioritize communication, safety, and making sure your dog feels comfy and happy. I stick to routines, give lots of love (if pup allows) and make sure your pup gets the exercise, attention, and stimulation they need. I treat every dog how I’d want my dog treated. You’ll get photo updates, clear communication, and peace of mind knowing your dog is with someone who genuinely gets it. Im currently working part time so my schedule can be flexible for drops ins and weekly walks. Especially in the early mornings and late evenings! I ensure that your pup is with me only at all times. I’m watching them like a hawk bc I have a beagle that tries to vacuum everything so I’m hyper aware of what your pup is sniffing.
“So happy we found our new dog walker! 😊 Kyle has been amazing with Zoey right from the start. She looks so happy and comfortable in every update. He communicates really well, is super reliable, and always sends the best photos. It’s such a relief knowing she’s in good hands during the day. Highly recommend!”

About: Hi! My name is Kaia, and I’m a college student based in Southern California with a lifelong love for dogs. 🐾 For the past 5 years, I’ve been helping my mom with dog sitting and pet care, gaining experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities. I also grew up with my own fur babies, so I understand how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your pets like family. Whether your dog needs a fun walk, overnight care, playtime, feeding, medication reminders, or just some extra love and attention while you're away, I’m committed to making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy. I love getting to know each dog's unique personality and building a bond with them, from energetic puppies to senior sweethearts. As a student, I’m responsible, organized, and dependable, and I know how important communication is. I’m happy to provide updates, photos, and check-ins so you can have peace of mind while you're away. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! 🐶❤️ As a college student, I balance pet care with a part-time job, but my schedule is especially flexible during the summer since I’m not taking classes. Most days, you can find me relaxing at home, studying, or enjoying the sunshine outdoors, which gives me plenty of time to dedicate to walks, drop-in visits, playtime, and quality care for your pets. I love staying active with dogs and making sure they get the attention, exercise, and companionship they deserve while you're away. 🐾☀️ I care for every pet as if they were my own, prioritizing their safety, comfort, and routine. I closely follow owner instructions, provide plenty of attention and exercise, and make sure pets feel secure and loved while you're away. Whether on walks or at home, I focus on creating a safe, reliable, and stress-free environment for your furry family member. 🐾❤️
“Had a great experience with Marianna! She was very communicative, sent updates, and took great care of Zoey. Zoey looked happy in the photos and it gave me a peace of mind knowing she was in good hands. Highly recommend!”

“I can’t say enough good things about using Kandall to care for my little buddy. This was my first time using Rover and Kendall was extremely helpful guiding me through the process from choosing the appropriate accommodation for my dog through to the time I returned. Kendall truly cared for my dog as if it was here own. If you are on looking for the best option for your pet, she is the perfect choice!”

About: I have grown up with dogs around me & have 1 of my own 🐶 💕. Before rover I used to take care of my friends dogs for fun! I have the biggest heart for doggies, they are amazing! I have been on the rover app for over a year now & gained even more experience with taking care of dogs. I do very well at looking over them, playing with them, & make sure they are happy! I am a college student at Cypress college. I have now finished my 2 years as a full time student & have become a part time student for now! I am also now currently working as a part time Behavior therapist. So doing rover fits perfectly into my schedule right now as it is not so cramped. Drop ins-In your home I will make sure to ask & follow your rules. I will keep in mind where the doggy is allowed & not allowed to be. I will always be making sure that your fur baby is comfortable & happy 😊.
“Haylee was great with our doggos! Showed up on time and was able to feed and play with our dogs during her visit. She takes her time with them and gives them a lot of love and attention.”

About: I have two cats of my own. I have a five-year-old and a two-year-old cat. I’m always looking out for them and making sure they stay happy and healthy, which is something every pet parent aims for their own. I am a full-time college student, and I go to El Camino College. I have always loved animals growing up. My family used to have birds and chickens when we lived in Oregon. One of my goals is to become a veterinarian! The only experience I have is sitting my friend's cat when she is out of town. I would make sure to drop in three times during the day. I don't have much experience with dogs, so I would like to grow in that area and be able to make great connections with them!! I do have a main job as a part time barista. I normally work on the weekends since I do go to school on the weekdays. On the weekend I’m available on Saturday after 5pm and Sunday before 12pm. During the weekday I’m fully available Tuesday and Thursday. Mondays and Wednesdays I’m available before 6pm! My cats are indoors, and we live in an apartment where there are other dogs and cats. I make sure to stay with them the whole time. I always make sure to keep things clean and sanitary! My main concern is always their health, since a few years ago, both my cats did have corona, and it was the worst and scariest experience, so I would appreciate any health concerns I should know about before coming in contact with any of them, and you can expect me to do that as well!!

About: Huge animal lover. I raised my Labrador until she crossed the rainbow bridge, have always taken care of family pets including cats, dogs and reptiles! I work remotely so I have a lot of flexibility around my schedule to take care of animal’s needs and able to adjust my weekend routine. I am very detail oriented with client’s needs when it comes to pet care but always prioritize the well being and health of the animals first.
About: I'm a two-dog parent who learned along the way what works and what doesn't with wild little terriers. Over the years, I've become proactive in making appropriate accommodations for my aging girls, and I regularly ensure I am providing the best care. My best quality is that I empathize with animals, adapting my behavior to suit each dog's distinct personality, and I love all animals like my own. I take my community college online, so I can be on-call prepared for anything! Having an open schedule means I'm always ready to give your dog someone to play with, walk with, and care for. I'm familiar with everything that comes with pet care. I keep the environment clean, feed, water, and play with my own girls, and am more than happy to do this for other pups as well!

Aileen is amazing and I would rebook in a heartbeat. My senior cat is very distant from strangers and not super friendly, but Aileen knew exactly how to manage the home visits and still got great pictures. Aileen is very communicative, professional, and quick to respond with detail. She made my first Rover experience truly so easy which helped me be at ease during my time away.

Vanessa took wonderful care of our cats while we were away for two weeks. She was always on time, incredibly responsive, and kept us updated with detailed report cards after every visit. It was obvious from the photos and updates that our cats were comfortable, well cared for, and genuinely loved by her, they looked like they were having a great time! She also went above and beyond by bringing in our packages and helping with a few small requests around the house, which we really appreciated. Knowing everything was in such good hands gave us so much peace of mind while we were traveling. We highly recommend Vanessa to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy cat sitter!

10/10 would recommend. She was communicative, on-tone, trustworthy and not to mention our dog instantly loved her! We have very selective who we let take care of our dog when we are not home or into our home and we had absolutely no hesitations with Sydney. Will absolutely be using her again!

Indra did an amazing job dropping in to check on out pets during our trip. She was prompt, reliable, and communicative. She took extra care giving out pets the type of attention they like, and shared great pictures and videos with us daily. Would highly recommend.

Beyza was amazing with our cat, Strawberry. Even though it was their first time meeting, they bonded very quickly and Strawberry felt comfortable with her right away. During every visit, Beyza spent quality time playing with Strawberry, brushing him, and making sure he received plenty of attention and care. She was very responsible with feeding, refreshing water, cleaning the litter box, and keeping an eye on everything while we were away. Whenever there was anything worth mentioning, she proactively reached out and kept us updated, which gave us great peace of mind during our trip. I would absolutely book Beyza again in the future and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and attentive cat sitter. Thank you so much for taking such great care of Strawberry!

Leiah is absolutely amazing, so patient and kind. My boy is blind and needs alittle extra care and attention and she does just that. Great communication before, during and after visits. Has amazing knowledge in regardless to pet health! Can’t recommend her enough! Besides family she’s who I trust with my baby!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
