I have been working with reactive dogs (aggressive) and the reason why I say reactive is because our dogs react towards something that makes our dogs look aggressive or probably are. I make sure as a Dog Trainer and the pet parent have a clear understanding what we need to do to help out our dogs. The training I do is obedience. I came to Rover to help out pet parents in need and not just with training but to also care for your furry friend when you're at work. Not only am I a Dog trainer, but I’m also a dog bather at my job. So, I don’t just train dogs. I make sure they are groomed well and again I just bathe. I Do Not cut hair. I want to make sure that our furry friends are clean and healthy so when they are in our home or it’s summer, they feel fresh and fine. I am also a pet parent myself. I have two cats and two dogs of my own. In the picture that you see on Rover, I am Daya the person on the right side. Every day I need to make sure that my babies are fed and well. As myself I do have and work a full-time job, thankfully. I exercise my dogs and cats before I head to work to make sure they move around before I head to work because I know they’re probably just waiting for me to come home.

About: My approach with any animal is to use positive reinforcement and a lot of patience. I grew up with dogs, cats and various other animals. I was heavily into 4-H and adopted a wild burro, raised pigs and joined the dog training group with my shelter dog, a German Shepard Samoyed mix. Currently, we have two rescue dogs. Whenever we host our neighbor's dog, all the dogs have a blast and act like they are having a sleepover. In addition to caring for dogs, I also have experience with a diabetic cat that required two daily shots. My husband and I work from home so there is always someone around. We take the dogs out for frequent potty breaks throughout the day. We also live near Valley Park and the green belt which are perfect for longer walks. In addition to my husband, I have two teenage sons who will also be here to play with your pup. We currently have two welcoming adopted dogs, Koko, who is the older wiser pup bringing calm energy, and Mango, who very lovable and wants to be friends with every human and dog. At our condo, the dogs have access to two decks in the back, perfect for quiet naps in the sun, and one deck in the front overlooking all the action that passes by on the street. If your pup likes to play tug-of-war, Mango will happily play and share her toys.

About: New to Rover, but not new to caring for pets: I am an empty nester who loves dogs and cats. I’m easy-going and have cared for both puppies and older dogs, and I look forward to keeping your pet safe and happy while you’re away. When I pet sit, I’ll send you lots of photos and videos to reassure you that all is well. I won’t list myself as available on weekends when I know I will be in and out too much to give your pet the attention s/he deserves. I have a small fenced/gated area, and the gate is tall. We have a dog door we can utilize or lock depending on your preference. There is a small section of artificial grass outside. Indoors, dogs are allowed on the couch with me unless you prefer I not allow it. I can walk them in the morning early, usually between 7:00-7:30 am. Afternoon walks are typically between 2:30-4:00. I am flexible with when evening walks happen. Dogs don’t ever have to be crated here, but I can do so if you provide the crate. On the weekends, I can certainly let them out more often than the 4-8 hours indicated on the app. Some weekdays, however, fall within that window depending on my work schedule. I require proof or rabies and other vaccines at the meet and greet, please.
“My dog, Tango, loves going to Marco’s house. Marco is such a nice person and works hard to get to know each dog and their needs. He checks in to see if there are any changes since the last time we were there or any particulars he needs to be aware of. I know Tango is well taken care of when he is there and walked each day. Marco sends pictures every day of their walks and when they play. Marco’s house is always well maintained. It is such a comfort when we leave town to have my dog at Marco’s.
