About: Hello, my name is Kendal! I’ve grown up with dogs and cats my whole life, and caring for animals has always been a huge part of who I am. I currently have a cat of my own, and spending time with animals is something I genuinely love. Whether it’s going for walks, playing, giving them plenty of attention, or simply keeping them company, I’m happiest when I’m around them. I’ll treat your furry family members with the same patience, love, and care that I give my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. 🐾 I’m currently working part-time in the afternoon 3 days a week so I’ll have plenty of time to take care of your furry friends! I have a kitty of my own who I love and care for every day. I make sure they have fresh food and water, a clean litter box, plenty of playtime, and lots of love and attention. I believe every pet deserves to feel safe, happy, and cared for!
“"I can’t recommend Leiah enough! She is professional, down-to-earth, friendly, and an excellent communicator. From our meet and greet, it was clear she truly loves dogs and knows how to engage with them. She is punctual and provides great updates (and awesome photos!) which gives me total peace of mind while I’m away. If you're looking for someone trustworthy who will treat your dog like her own, Leiah’s the needle in the haystack you are looking for!"”

“Ginny was so kind and sweet with my cat! My cat gets lonely when I’m away so I mainly needed someone to come play with her for a while everyday. When I got back, my cat was noticeably less lonely and Ginny was great about sending photos and letting me know how my cat was doing everyday! Highly recommend!!”

“Elika was amazing at caring for our cat Charlie while we were out of town! She was so sweet, caring, loving and patient with her! Highly recommend Elika and will definitely be trusting her again to care for our kitty!”

About: I’ve been officially pet sitting consistently since 2024 and have built my client base through word-of-mouth referrals and repeat bookings. I grew up with dogs but through petsitting, have experience caring for dogs, cats, birds, tortoises, betta fish, shrimp, and chameleons. Most of my experience is with overnight stays ranging from weekend trips to 1–2 week vacations. I’m detail-oriented, adaptable, and take pride in following care instructions closely while keeping owners updated with photos and messages throughout their trip. As a powerlifter and active person, I’m comfortable with both short and long walks and can keep up with high-energy & strong dogs. I work in-office during weekdays but am available mornings, evenings, overnights, and am fully flexible on weekends. My goal is simple: to make sure your pets feel safe and comfortable while giving you peace of mind when you’re away. I work in an office Monday through Friday, so I'm most flexible on weekends. For pets that are comfortable being home during the workday, I'm available for feeding, bathroom, and walks before work, in the evenings, overnight, and throughout the weekend. Prior to the stay, (my home or yours), we will go over your pet’s routine and your expectations to make sure this is a good fit before moving forward.

“We booked our holiday travel a little late in the year and our normal supply of family/friends who cat-sit for us were unavailable. I took a chance on Rover and found Allen and it all worked out splendidly! I met Allen before we left, gave him a quick intro to our cat Lisette, and away we went. I also left written instructions just in case and Allen followed them to a T. He sent photos and a video every day, putting my fears to rest about leaving our cat alone for the first time (we adopted her 6 months ago). I recommend Allen 100%! We will definitely be calling him again.”

She did a wonderful job making sure my cats were comfortable, happy, and fed every day while I was away for a week. She communicated well and was attentive to all the needs of my special-needs cat and my kittens. I felt confident knowing they were in caring and capable hands!

Ginny was so kind and sweet with my cat! My cat gets lonely when I’m away so I mainly needed someone to come play with her for a while everyday. When I got back, my cat was noticeably less lonely and Ginny was great about sending photos and letting me know how my cat was doing everyday! Highly recommend!!

Beyza was amazing with our cat, Strawberry. Even though it was their first time meeting, they bonded very quickly and Strawberry felt comfortable with her right away. During every visit, Beyza spent quality time playing with Strawberry, brushing him, and making sure he received plenty of attention and care. She was very responsible with feeding, refreshing water, cleaning the litter box, and keeping an eye on everything while we were away. Whenever there was anything worth mentioning, she proactively reached out and kept us updated, which gave us great peace of mind during our trip. I would absolutely book Beyza again in the future and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and attentive cat sitter. Thank you so much for taking such great care of Strawberry!

This is our second time booking with Donny, and I just wanted to say how lucky we feel to have found someone so kind, reliable, and trustworthy to take such wonderful care of our kitties. Knowing Donny is looking after them gives me so much peace of mind whenever we’re away. He’s communicative, attentive, and clearly cares about the animals he watched. Our cats are always happy, comfortable, and well cared for when we return. We truly appreciate the care and dedication he puts into every visit, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book with him again. Highly recommend!! 🐾❤️

Leiah is absolutely amazing, so patient and kind. My boy is blind and needs alittle extra care and attention and she does just that. Great communication before, during and after visits. Has amazing knowledge in regardless to pet health! Can’t recommend her enough! Besides family she’s who I trust with my baby!

Ji Hae was wonderful with our dogs. She came to meet them before we left town. She fed both and medicated our Australian Shepherd/Husky mix. Ji Hae walked both dogs and made sure they had plenty of water. She kept us updated with photos and left the house neat. I’m confident in recommending Ji Hae’s services.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
