“Fantastic and accommodating sitter for our 5yr old cat. Diwa was on top of keeping us updated while on our trip and was thorough with questions regarding our cat’s needs. 10/10 would work with Diwa again!”

“I can’t say enough great things about Kai!!! This is my first experience using Rover as I did not want to put my boys in a kennel while I was away for a few days. Since my pups are a bit senior I wanted them to be in the comfort of their own home. Kai saw my boys twice a day, was consistent and timely and great at communicating with me how everything was going every time he saw them. I was a little nervous initially with allowing someone in my home while I was out of town, but Kai is completely trustworthy and made sure to lock everything up in between his visits. I HIGHLY recommend Kai for taking care of your pet(s) when you have to be away from them :)”

“Donnie was so wonderful with our little kitty cat. I really appreciate that he was able to help him with his injections and spend a little time with him after his breakfast. He is very friendly and knows just how to calm your pet and make them feel loved. Thank you so much!”

“Elaine is an amazing sitter! She has given the most detailed Roger Cards I’ve ever gotten, and sent sooo many wonderful photos! My doggy obviously loved her, and Elaine also took great care of my fish! She followed instructions very well, and went above and beyond with communicating, care, and photos. Thank you for keeping my pets safe and happy, and my mind at ease while I was away!”

About: Love going on dog walks to explore the city. I’m a full time student studying to be a Vet Assistant and Vet Tech. My passion is to help and provide care for animals . My family has 3 rescued dachshunds, 2 seniors and 1 pup. I enjoy being a dog mom and look forward to bonding with your best friend. I actively volunteer at Santa Monica and Los Angeles Animal Shelter. I volunteer a lot of my time to bond with dogs and cats to prepare for their forever homes. I’m a full-time student finishing my degree in animal science. I am pretty flexible with my school and work schedule. I will accommodate times and days as needed I’ve studied animal behavior the past year , I’m responsible and protective with every animal. I will take care of your dog/cat like it’s my own. I have certification for First Aid and Pet CPR through Animal Behavior College.

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. My love for them started early and has only grown stronger over the years. I was lucky enough to grow up with two amazing dogs: Max, my loyal and energetic German Shepherd, and Cody, my playful multi-poo. Through them, I learned not only how to care for dogs but also how to understand their unique personalities and needs. They taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and above all, love. Over the past three years, I’ve turned that lifelong passion into experience by dog sitting and walking for family friends and neighbors. Whether it’s a short walk around the block or a jog around the park, I always treat every dog like they’re my own with affection, proper attention, and cared for with responsibility and respect. I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments, from tiny terriers to large labs and everything in between. I’m confident in handling energetic puppies, shy rescues, and senior dogs who just need a little extra care. My multi poo is 15 years old so I know a thing or two about senior dogs. I take pride in being dependable, detail-oriented, and communicative with pet owners. Your dog’s safety and happiness are my top priorities, and I always strive to provide peace of mind for you while giving your pet the love, exercise, and care they deserve. Currently, I’m on summer break and living at home, which gives me a very flexible schedule. I'm free almost every day, so I can easily fit pet care into my daily routine. Whether it's early morning walks, mid-day check-ins, or evening playtime, I have the time and availability to be fully committed to caring for pets. My open schedule allows me to be reliable, responsive, and consistent making sure every pet gets the attention, exercise, and love they need. Caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life. Growing up, I helped take care of my German Shepherd, Max, who was very energetic and needed regular exercise. This experience taught me how to handle larger, active dogs and how important consistency and patience are in pet care. Now, I care for my 15-year-old multi-poo, Cody, who requires a gentler, more attentive approach. With Cody, I’ve learned how to support an older dog’s needs like giving medication, keeping a calm environment, and being mindful of physical limitations. I make sure he’s comfortable, clean, and always gets love and attention throughout the day. Whether I’m in my own home or a client’s, I bring the same level of care, responsibility, and affection. I follow any instructions provided closely, keep the pet’s space clean and safe, and make sure they feel secure and loved. I treat every pet like family and always aim to create a calm, happy environment where they feel cared for and at ease.

We had no issues and Madelynn followed all directions to a "T". :) Highly recommend for anyone looking for a gentle and conscientious sitter. Will definitely ask for Madelynn's services in the future.”

South East Torrance pet parents share their Rover experiences
Elika took wonderful care of my cats, as usual! She sent great pictures/updates and made sure they taken care of during a busy Fourth of July weekend.

Cats were well fed and taken care of while I was gone. Thank you!

Diwa was extremely kind, thoughtful, and helpful with my girl Pumpkin. I would definitely recommend her to anyone! I know I will be reaching out to her again on my next trip.

Sami is the best caretaker on Rover. She did multiple drop-ins for me to take care of my two cats. Followed feeding/cleaning instructions perfectly and made sure to take lots of photos. Communication was on-point and I felt very comfortable having her. Will hire again for the next trip for sure!

Zulaiha was excellent! My cats love her, and she took really great care of them. I was actually stressed because this was the first time I was away from them, but she made sure they were all good and they had everything they needed. I'll definitely want her to take care of my cats if I'm ever away on a trip again because I know they'll be in great in hands.

Mao did a great job watching over our cat again! He loves her visits and she does a great job tending to his needs. Thank you Mao!

Madelynn checked in on our three “kids” 🐈🐈⬛🐈⬛ for 3 days. Everything went well and the “kids” are happy. Madelynn provided good updates and cute pics. Very reliable - she was running late one day and let us know so dinner was a little late but it all worked out well. Look forward to Madelynn doing drop-in visits in the future
