About: I’ve had dogs for as long as I can remember; I’ve had several of all sizes throughout my life, and they were like siblings to me. I love dogs of all kinds; wherever I go, they seek me out, greet me, and let me pet them. I think that’s a great sign that I connect with them. I am a freelance videographer and video editor. If I could give JoAnne more than 5 stars, I would. We hired her to stay with our Great Dane, Gandalf, for three days while we were camping. He had just had surgery, so this wasn’t a typical pet-sitting job. She stayed with him around the clock, administered all of his medications, monitored his recovery, and gave us complete peace of mind. JoAnne kept us updated throughout every day with photos, videos, and thoughtful messages, so we always knew exactly how Gandalf was doing. It was so clear how deeply she understands animals. She has an incredible intuition, endless patience, and a genuine love for the pets she cares for. What completely blew us away was everything she did beyond caring for Gandalf. She unexpectedly cleaned our home, folded our laundry, and even washed all of our bedding so we came home after traveling to fresh, clean sheets. It was such an incredibly thoughtful gesture and something we never expected. Coming home to a happy, well-cared-for dog and an immaculate house honestly felt unreal. JoAnne is the real deal. She’s one of those rare people who genuinely loves both animals and people, and it shows in everything she does. We trust her completely and won’t hesitate to book her again. She is an absolute gem, and anyone would be incredibly lucky to have her care for their pets.
Absolutely perfect. Jihae watched our three dogs while staying at our house for several nights while we were away. As basically a complete stranger, she went above and beyond what we asked of her, was super communicative, and was overall just perfect. I highly highly recommend.
Ivy did a fantastic job for us with our dog and cat! This was our first time hiring a housesitter, so she was really patient with us communicating back and forth about our instructions before we left town. Once we left, she was easy to reach if we needed anything and let us know right away when anything was out of the ordinary. She handled the unexpected competently which made us feel at ease. She sent us daily pics and updates, as requested, which was reassuring. When we got home, we found the house was just as we left it and both pets were happy and healthy.
I was not sure we could leave our pets for 15 nights! But then we met Cassandra and instantly felt good and comfortable about it. She spent so much time with our two dogs and cats, loved on them, fed, filled water bowls, walked the dogs, watered plants, vacuumed, wiped down, scooped litter boxes, picked up dog poop, etc. We are so grateful for all she did to keep everyone safe and well cared for! Grace was absolutely amazing. As a first time rover user, she took away all the stress and worry I had leaving my boy alone for the first time. She was communicative, patient, sent daily updates and pictures, and overall was very kind and respectful of our space. We will be sure to use her again.
You won’t regret it if you hire Allen. He is outstanding! Allen easily managed our furry beast. Chloe is a Chinese slaughterhouse rescue and has some serious trust issues but Allen quickly won her over and was giving her belly rubs in no time. He also took great care of our home, leaving it better than he found it! We are so pleased with Allen and will definitely hire him again!!
Katie cared for my 2 dogs for a few days. It was clear from the start when we did a meet and greet that she was the best sitter. She asked lots of relevant questions and took notes. When I returned, my dogs looked happy and well taken care of. Katie kept me in the loop about everything that happen. Would def book her again.
