“I was nervous at first to leave my dog with anyone other than family but from day one Tatiana eased all my fears. She was so patient and attentive to mine and Canela’s needs. She sent videos and photos daily which let me see how well cared for my furbaby was in real time. My puppy was so happy in her care and didn’t seem to miss a beat. I am so thankful to have found her on Rover already looking to book again in the future.”

“Artem was incredible! Our other Rover sitter fell through at the last minute, and he willingly took in our pup that same day, so we could catch our flight on time! He was very responsive, and it was clear that he kept a safe and structured environment for the dogs. I would highly recommend him and will definitely call on him the next time we need our dog boarded. Thank you again, Artem!”

“Amazing experience! She took such great care of my dog and kept me updated with photos throughout the stay. I could tell my pup was happy and comfortable. Definitely would book again!”

“Ivette was vey welcoming and kind to my little Charly. She had no issues tending to Charly meal routine aswell as his exercise needs. Charly was very happy when picking him up, which is always a very good sign that he had a good stay. Thank you and would 10/10 recommend to everyone”

“Kyle was great! Super responsive, nice to meet, and took great care of our maltipoo! I loved the photo updates during her stay. Definitely recommend him. We will use him again.”

“I had a fantastic experience with Jenny as a sitter for my Yorkie, Jehu, during my five-day trip. She was professional, attentive, and genuinely caring. Jenny kept in touch every day, sending me adorable photos of Jehu having a great time. Her dedication to his well being was evident, and it gave me peace of mind while I was away. I highly recommend Jenny for anyone needing a reliable and loving dog sitter! Thank you, Jenny, for taking such wonderful care of Jehu!”

“Ashley was amazing. My dog, Nipsey, had a great time at her house. After the initial meet and greet, my worries all left as I could tell she would be the perfect person for the job. She was super attentive and followed all directions. She provided medications as needed but most importantly she gave him tons of love. I highly recommend Ashley if you're looking for a trustworthy person with a great heart and love for animals.”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! We left our golden retriever with this wonderful family and their golden while we were out of town celebrating our son’s birthday. From the very beginning, their communication was excellent and they made us feel completely at ease. Our dog had the best time — it was her very first time staying with another golden retriever, and the two of them clearly had a blast together! Knowing she was in such loving, attentive hands allowed us to fully enjoy our family trip without worry. The updates and photos we received were such a treat. This family clearly adores dogs and provides genuine, caring, home-away-from-home care. We are already planning to book them again for our next trip. Highly, highly recommend!”

“This is the second time Shabnam has cared for Popcorn, and we couldn’t be happier. She is truly the sweetest dog sitter, treating him with so much love and attention. It gives me such peace of mind knowing he’s in her hands. Popcorn is always so happy and relaxed with her, like he’s part of her family. We feel so lucky to have found her.”

“Stephanie was wondering with Ellie! Great communication and provided lots of updates & pictures of her while I was away! Will definitely book with her again 😊”

“So happy with my Misty’s first visit to Ziya! Great location, huge fenced yard for playtime. Misty was treated like one of the family. Ziya has two of her own dogs and Misty had a wonderful time playing with them. My first time using a sitter and I had no worries about Misty’s safety. HIGHLY recommend Ziya”

“Narumi was excellent with Mina while in her care. She gave very detailed updates with pictures and videos. We felt very peace of mind with Narumi and will definitely contact her again when we need to board Mina.”

“Gina is the best doggie mama for our little Lulu when we are away! She’s so sweet, has a beautiful backyard for Lulu to sunbathe in & gives her lots of attention & cuddles. I always know Lulu is safe & well taken care of by Gina while we are away.🥰”

About: I’ve had a love for cats since I was 6 years old feeding the strays in my neighborhood. I’ve always been around cats, whether its family or friends, or my own kitties, so I have a lot of experience and knowledge about how to properly care for and love them.

“Tatiana did an amazing job helping my kitten with her separation anxiety. Tatiana was very patient and nurturing not just with her but myself as well. I would definitely rebook when needed. Thank you for everything and for such a safe environment.”

“Sarah was great with our cat! She was very communicative and also went above and beyond to help bring in deliveries while we were out of town. We will definitely hire her again!”

About: I have spent most of my life around cats. I've watched over my sister's kittens on multiple occasions since I was 17, bottlefeeding and potty training. I also have experience taking care of adult cats and kittens post-spay; providing a safe and comfortable space for recovery each time.

“Zulaiha did a great job caring for our babies and sending detailed updates and pictures during her visit. She was very helpful with stepping in last minute and making sure one of our cats got his medicine and special food. Would definitely recommend!”

“Elaine's time with our 3 cats could not have gone better. Our cats need (require!) lots of attention. Plenty of updates, pics, and videos of happy kitties - it was clear that our cats got plenty of attention and love from Elaine. We are VERY HAPPY with Elaine's house- and cat-sitting service and will be asking her to take care of our kitties in the future. THANK YOU ELAINE!”

“Outstanding. That's the word that best describes Sami. Other applicable words : thorough, caring, detailed, communicative, and genuine. I won't hesitate to call on her again.”

“We booked our holiday travel a little late in the year and our normal supply of family/friends who cat-sit for us were unavailable. I took a chance on Rover and found Allen and it all worked out splendidly! I met Allen before we left, gave him a quick intro to our cat Lisette, and away we went. I also left written instructions just in case and Allen followed them to a T. He sent photos and a video every day, putting my fears to rest about leaving our cat alone for the first time (we adopted her 6 months ago). I recommend Allen 100%! We will definitely be calling him again.”

“Ginny took such phenomenal care of my kitties and my Apartment! Couldn’t ask for better! Apparently a plumbing back up happened from the neighbors upstairs and Ginny contacted me right away and stayed there to let maintenance repair it. So thankful she was there and she cleaned up everything after. My kitties are very happy and love her so much!! Thank you again Ginny and we will see you again super soon!”

“"I can’t recommend Leiah enough! She is professional, down-to-earth, friendly, and an excellent communicator. From our meet and greet, it was clear she truly loves dogs and knows how to engage with them. She is punctual and provides great updates (and awesome photos!) which gives me total peace of mind while I’m away. If you're looking for someone trustworthy who will treat your dog like her own, Leiah’s the needle in the haystack you are looking for!"”

About: I have taken care of not only my own cats but friends, family, and neighbors cats for over 10 years. My own cat who I had for 15 years had developed diabetes and became experienced in administering medications and providing insulin twice day.
“Perla is the best. It’s hard to leave my fur babies when I travel but knowing I have someone that takes such good care of them, makes me feel less guilty about leaving them.”

“Amazing experience. My kitties were treated like family. Shaun accommodated a very last minute booking and gave me daily updates on my pets. Thank you again for excellent care!”

About: I’ve watched over many people’s cats along with my own cats at home for years. I enjoy their company and respect their needs. I would be thrilled to watch over your cat, and make it a safe space for them. I have plenty of experiences with different personalities of cats, such as calm cats, energetic, cats who may need some time to warm up to you, and those that are playful right away. However your cat may be like, I’ll be happy to get to know them! :)
“I can’t say enough amazing things about Pearl! This is our second time booking her. She is so great about updating me with photos of my cats while I’m away, which gives me complete peace of mind. About: I’ve had a ShitZu for over 12 years, have taken care of neighbors dogs dozens of times, and am always excited to mingle with a new doggo. I am punctual, attentive, responsible, and super friendly. I am a student, and all of my classes are online. I work remotely as well, and spend most of my time on video editing or fitness. Walks are a big part of my routine, especially in the mornings and after dinner. I am very cautious and attentive when it comes to dogs. I am hyper aware, and always try to figure out how to make them happy and comfortable in the space. When walking, I’m very good at gauging what the dog wants and needs.
“Thank you so much! She is BEST sitter for us. She sent many photos for us. So We could know how our fur baby were doing. My dog had a very relaxing stay and is very good condition the next day. We'll definitely request again next time.”

“Sonish is amazing! Gave us plenty of updates and pics / videos throughout the day. Elmo loved spending time with him and Kobe! Their place has plenty of toys and love. Would highly recommend :)”

“Amazing sitter!! Shaun and her family are super sweet and everytime I’ve left Roux with them they treat him as their own! They send updates, pictures and videos throughout the day which I truly enjoy! We’ve used them twice already and will continue to use their services!!”

“This was “Kobe’s” second time staying with Elaine. I knew I had made the right choice because when I dropped him off, he recognized the place and got super excited, like when we go to the dog park or the dog beach. Elaine and her husband are wonderful dog sitters, and I’m very pleased with their doggie hospitality.”

“Chieko was an amazing sitter!! She took really good care of my dog, Sunny. She went to take Sunny for a long walk and fed him snacks+food. I felt safe leaving my dog with Chieko.”

About: I have taken care of a variety of animals since I was a young kid and have had a dog virtually my entire life, sometimes a few dogs at once and many cats too. I have been a fish, dog, and cat parent for about thirty years or more of my adult life and ongoing. Recently completed a twelve-week obedience training course with our German Shepherd. Plenty of work to do. We also have done pet sitting for friends, as they have also done for us over the many years. We have cared for many a senior dog or cat, as they have been ours. We have always had and cared for animals through their entire life cycle. Before Rover dog care and dog walking of other peoples pets, aside from friends pets was not something we had done as a business, but taking care of animals, especially dogs is an activity I have been doing my entire life, every day. We walk our own dog a couple of times daily. I have owned and cared for many dogs. I currently own a two year old White German Shepherd, which is very socialized. He is a silly one. I have some experience in training, in as much as myself and my GSD went through twelve weeks of obedience classes through PetSmart to help get him setup for success. My primary business is in IT. I work from home almost every day. I have an independent IT consulting company, working for myself since 2003, to date. A very flexible schedule. However, the business has been slow and I am looking for something to supplement my income. Another IT job would likely be treated as a conflict, and I already do that work anyway. This type of gig seems perfect, flexible schedule and doing something I have always wanted to do. Right now, I have the time. We will discuss shifts; I may be good to help during a variety of times. I love dogs, all animals really. We are very willing to sit for some dogs in our own home or stop in to check on, walk and feed them, etc. I have a neighbor that does the same thing as a “side hustle” (for Rover) and they love it. When I am out walking my dog, I often run into them walking their dog tenants that they are sitting while owners are away. I have lived in the Southbay since 1988 and love it here. I live in a two-story house on the edge of old Torrance and Harbor City. I look forward to our future contact and making some new furry friends. Thanks so much for your consideration. I have a fenced yard and one dog, a white German Shepherd that is still enjoying late stage puppy hood :-) at two years old. Loves his toys, well socialized and really loves playing with other dogs. He is good company for another dog and someday soon we may be getting another, so he always has a friend. Right now we have just one. We also have one Maine Coon cat (16yr), that generally stays out of site around new dogs. Our one cat has been living with dogs most of his life. We will create separation of animals if it is necessary. If you provide it and it is needed, we will crate your dog, otherwise we are happy to let them always be part of the home while staying with us. The home is safe and secure with plenty of space inside and outside. We are in an enclosed subdivision with safe residential streets for walks. We have dedicated space where our dog and cat eat separately, we can also set up feeding so your pet can eat alone if necessary. We can adjust access to food, so nobody (including our dog) has any issues. Dog walking is done regularly for our GSD and we are happy to take your pet along to explore the neighborhood.
About: I’m a dog mom of 8 years, and caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. Over the years I’ve helped family and friends with their pets—everything from energetic puppies and senior dogs to rabbits, cats, and even goats! I’m comfortable with all kinds of personalities and needs, and I treat every animal like they’re my own. Whether it’s playtime, walks, feeding, or just keeping them company, your pet will get tons of love, attention, and patience while they’re with me. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine because I work from home and have plenty of flexibility. I get regular breaks every two hours and a full hour for lunch, which gives me lots of time for walks, playtime, feeding, and check-ins throughout the day. I also don’t go out much, so I’m home almost all day—meaning your pet will have constant company, attention, and a calm, comfortable environment. Your pet won’t ever feel lonely here! In my home, your pet will have plenty of comfort and space. I live in a spacious home with room for your pet to settle in and feel relaxed. I also have a friendly dog who loves company and gets along well with other pets. You’re welcome to bring any of your pet’s personal items—beds, toys, or a crate—and I have plenty of room to set everything up exactly the way they’re used to. My goal is to make their stay feel safe, familiar, and stress-free.
“If you’re in need of someone to care for your dog, Alice is the person I trust the most! She is my go-to sitter whenever I’m out for a day or an entire vacation. In August, she took him in for 3 weeks while I was in the Philippines and as much as I missed him, I knew he was in wonderful hands! She’s caring and attentive. I really appreciated the updates she would send. In his most recent stay, she babysat for a day and I never had to worry! Again, if you’re looking for someone you can trust, it’s Alice!”

About: I grew up with dogs and cats and can understand how they are feeling. There is a huge park nearby that I can take them on their daily walks and exercise if opting to stay at my place. In general, I love taking care of them like they are my own. I work full time remotely on East Coast hours, which means I finish my work early while spending more time to take care and play with your fur baby! I live by myself and can fully dedicate and commit my time to your dog or cat's needs. I have a plenty of space for your fur baby along with a fenced patio if caring in my home. I can easily crate your dog if needed. I stay with your fur babies and take lots of pictures throughout the day to make sure they're having a good and relaxing time with me.
“Bogie LOVES Deeja and Luc and their dog Milo. She’s always so excited to go to them for day care or boarding. They take great care of her and she seems relaxed and happy after time there.”

About: ** Daycare/Boarders, please note that I have my own dog, a 10lb wiener dog named Sadie, a meet-and-greet is a must to ensure they get along ** The hardest part about leaving home is finding someone reliable to take care of your pet(s). Anyone can take your pet in, but finding someone who will follow their schedule can be difficult. I have owned dogs all my life, and I know how important it is to make sure their schedule is maintained and that their lives are disrupted as little as possible while their owner is away. If you’re looking for someone who can follow the schedules and rules that you’ve laid out while you’re away, I am your person. My first paid dog-walking experience was through the "Wag" app during college, and then I took on clients in my direct neighborhood. My clients would tell you that I am punctual and reliable. If we have an agreed-upon date/time for a walk, you can count on me to be there. I have experience with all age ranges, from puppies to seniors. I work from home all day, so I am available for potty breaks and walks throughout the day. My main walks happen in the morning before work, and/or in the evening after work. I like to keep a consistent, predictable schedule for my pets. I do not have a yard, but potty breaks are often and walks are a must. There is a secondary gate on my patio to secure any front-of-door runners, but I am cautious when opening doors (I own a slippery mini dachshund, I know how sneaky some pups can be)
About: I've taken Care of dogs, cats, rabbits, lizards, pigs, and others since I was 12. I have over 15 Years of Experience; Family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers have relied on me to feed, walk, play, watch overnight, transport, cuddle and love their fur babies! I have A PET POT BELLY PIG named Winston who is 8 years old and the love of my life! Sadly, our Large Senior Dog Mac (175 lbs) with Special Needs we Rescued, passed away July 28, 2023. Thus, I offer SENIOR CARE also. I do not board dogs using Kennels at our home, and its 1 on 1 care where your baby is treated as family and can cuddle in bed with me. I offer transportation for boardings for additional fee. Also walks and drop in visits. Animals are my heart and always will be. I'm currently only working part time at my families business, so my availability is flexible ! I study a lot at home for the Bar Exam, so I am happy to have an animal at home while I study to care for! I offer Pet Sitting (at your home) & Boarding for overnight sleepovers (at my home), Drop In Visits, Walks, and Transportation for boarding for additional $. I am excited to get in some exercise walking your dogs, or playing with your cats (or other furriends), and can work around your schedule. I adore all animals and have a strong connection. I have my own pet pig at home who is treated like my own son! He is fenced in our HUGE DOUBLE LOT BACK YARD, where there are multiple gates & locks to ensure safety and remaining in the yard for play times / separation if needed. I have rescued / fostered many animals as a volunteer. I TRAINED my pet PIG to walk on a leash, and gently eat out of my hand, tricks like sit and spin (dance) for treats; He is very friendly & gets along with all animals, as he was raised with dogs, cats, rabbits. Any animals in my care are treated as family members, always are safe, and have a great environment. Boarding at my home means no kennels, 1:1 care with me in the house, play time outside, and cuddles in bed at night! I love to Dog/House Sit as well, and am happy to care for your animals at your home while you are away. I am extremely trustworthy and responsible, and studying to become a lawyer. I graduated from Law School, and work part time at our families business during the week with flexible hours!

Feel free to let me know any concerns or give me any rules to follow.
“My 5 year old doodle has been walking with Jailene for over a week now. We decided our pup needed more midday exercise than we could provide, so Jailene swooped right in to come on time everyday: friendly, confident, professional, and no frills. My dog even looks cool walking with her! They get an uphill mile in each weekday for 30 mins and our pup comes back worked, happy, and relaxed. It's been very easy to communicate with Jailene and we trust that our dog is in good hands.”

“Tatiana did an excellent job with our special needs dog . He is completely blind but loves walks. She selected places that best suited him. Tatiana has a strong intuitive sense of dogs , as well as being bright and active. She is not lazy. Tatiana did a wonderful job and I would hire her again.”

She was patient and understanding with our smallest and most skittish pup while still loving. She went above and beyond by cleaning up loose fur and always provided excellent feedback and pictures during walks. Would definitely ask her to help out again. Thank you Sarah!”

I’m patient, attentive, and genuinely love animals, and I treat every pet like they’re my own so they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. Pet care has always been a natural part of my daily routine. I recently lost my dog a couple of weeks ago at 14 years old, but for years I took care of him every day. I walked him, fed him, gave him treats, and made sure he stayed active and happy by taking him to fun places like parks and outdoor areas. Taking care of pets has always been something I genuinely enjoy, and I’m used to making time in my day to give them attention, exercise, and care. When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I follow the owner’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, walks, playtime, and any special instructions. I am currently only in school and go two days a week so other than that I have lots of free time to watch over and care for your pets. For dog walking I am very attentive and will make sure your pets are safe. I am also active and love a good walk/run which is perfect for those active dogs.
“Allen was very professional and cordial. He was very open with communication and vibed with our dogs. I would recommend him to anyone that expects the level of care our furry family members deserve.”

There is a secondary gate on my patio to secure any front-of-door runners, but I am cautious when opening doors (I own a slippery mini dachshund, I know how sneaky some pups can be)
About: I have experience giving medications (pills, liquids, ear/eye drops) as well as experience with senior and small dogs especially. Senior care is my strength but I love dogs of all ages. I work from home part time and am home all day Friday-Monday. There are no children or pets in the home so I am able to provide my undivided attention. Your dog will be inside my home most of the day as I do not have a yard. I do however have a large park/lake across the street that I frequent that is great for walks.
About: I have cared for and been around animals my entire life, and absolutely love them all. No breed restrictions here! Over the past almost decade, I've worked in numerous pet care facilities, along with rehabilitation centers for other animals including bats, sloths, flying squirrels, etc. Now I’m working at a chiropractor/massage location, but still absolutely love animals with a passion! I strive to love and care for your fur kid as if it's my own. I’m extremely patient, love to go on walks, and cuddles are my speciality. I can honestly say, I’ve never met an animal I didn’t immediately fall for. The only complaint I’ve heard from a pet owner was that I just might spoil their pet more than them. Not only will I take care of your fur babe, but I’ll also care for your house as well. Need mail brought in? Plants watered? I do that too. Pet care has always been a natural part of my daily and weekly routine because I’ve worked with and cared for animals my entire life. It doesn’t feel like a chore—it feels like second nature. Each day, I make sure animals are fed, have clean water, and a comfortable space, but I also prioritize their emotional well-being through play, walks, or simply spending quiet time with them. I build my day around their needs, whether that’s early mornings for feeding and exercise, or evenings for grooming and bonding. On a weekly basis, I set aside time for deeper care, like washing bedding, refreshing living areas, and doing more detailed grooming or health checks. I find joy in noticing the little things—changes in behavior, shifts in appetite, or even subtle signs that an animal may need extra comfort or medical attention. Because I truly love animals, caring for them never feels like a task to squeeze in—it’s something I look forward to and value. They become part of my rhythm, and ensuring they’re healthy, safe, and happy is a responsibility I take to heart every single day. When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I approach it with the same level of love and responsibility I would give my own animals. I always start by learning about each pet’s unique needs—feeding schedules, routines, medications, favorite activities, and any special instructions—so I can provide consistent, comfortable care. In the home, I make sure their environment is safe, clean, and enriched. That includes fresh food and water, daily exercise or playtime, litter box or waste cleanup, and keeping their bedding and living areas fresh. I also pay close attention to their behavior and body language, since small changes often signal when an animal needs something extra. Beyond the basics, I focus on giving them companionship and reassurance. Whether that’s long walks, interactive play, or quiet time for pets who enjoy simply being near someone, I make sure they feel cared for and not just “looked after.” For clients, I communicate regularly with updates and photos, so they know their pets are happy and well cared for. My goal is always to make pets feel secure and loved while keeping their routines as normal as possible, so clients can have peace of mind while they’re away. For me, it’s not just about making sure they’re fed and safe—it’s about making them feel loved, secure, and comfortable. More than anything, I want every pet to feel at ease while their family is away. I know how much trust it takes to let someone else care for a beloved companion, so I put my heart into giving both pets and their owners peace of mind.

“Elaine was super nice and accommodating with our dogs. She sent lots of pictures to let us know the dogs were doing okay. She made us feel confident that the dogs were getting enough attention and were playing well with the other dogs. I would definitely recommend Elaine.”

“This is my 2nd booking. My dog absolutely loves and gets excited when he see’s Shardae. I have found his forever sitter. He is well taken care of and happy when he comes home! I appreciate you!”

“Qing was amazing to our pup, she sent video and photo updates the whole stay to assure us our pet was well taken cared of. Highly recommend and we will use her again!”

“Sonish is fantastic! He was very communicative and we appreciated the photos/updates throughout the stay. He took great care of our two dogs with wildly differing energy levels (one’s a senior and the other is a little over 1). They both came back happy, walked, and clean. We would definitely recommend him (and Kobe) and will come back again!”

“I recently had the pleasure of leaving my dog with Xenia, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Xenia was incredibly thoughtful in accommodating my dog’s schedule, ensuring a smooth and stress-free stay. Her own dogs were very friendly and welcoming, making my dog feel right at home. I highly recommend Xenia for anyone looking for a caring and considerate dog sitter.”

“Lissa was great. She treated our Zippy during his stay of 8 days like her own. The communication was great. I could tell that he was given lots of love from the pictures and texts. Highly recommended!”

“It was my first time using Rover and having my dogs stay at another persons home. I was definitely worried about how Nala and Autumn would be, but Bethany took great care of them. She sent me updates right away and sent pictures of them at the dog park, walking, playing fetch, relaxing. It made me happy to know they were in good hands and constantly had someone around with her daughters. Would highly recommend her!”

“Johanna and Dawson did an amazing job taking care of my dog Ace. They sent lots of pictures and videos throughout his stay. Ace has a ton of energy and they made sure to give him enough exercise and plenty of play time and really catered to his needs. Their home is a wonderful place to keep your dog safe and happy while you’re away.”

“It’s my very first time looking for a pet sitter because I’m always so anxious about leaving my dogs with people that I don’t know but I can’t thank Stephanie enough for taking care of my puppies! It was a great experience, my dogs had fun, played with other dogs and she was so accommodating to their needs and also to my last minute changes! I was getting daily updates and pictures too! I was comfortable because she has so many years of experience and a lot of good reviews! I can fully recommend her and I would definitely be happy to bring my dogs again! Thank you so much!!!”
