About: I've always known I was an animal person! I've grown up with cats and dogs since I was 5 years old — 7 family cats and 5 family dogs throughout the years — so I'm familiar with every stage, from puppy and kitten energy all the way through senior care. Personally, I have 3 wonderful pups of my own. We're an active household: we walk every day and make sure to play and engage with them throughout the day, so I understand firsthand what it takes to keep a dog happy, healthy, and mentally stimulated. As someone with three dogs of my own, it's important to me to provide the same level of care I'd want for my own pups. I want you to feel confident that your dog will be looked after just as they would be in your own home with the same patience, attention, and love. I am present full time for your pup! Care fits right into my everyday routine rather than being squeezed in around it, so your dog gets consistent attention throughout the day. After I have a better understanding of your pup's routine we'll go on walks, play in our fenced front and back yard with lots of grass to enjoy, and I'll send you pics and updates along the way so you can see how they're doing. For rest and downtime, we have a private, dog-friendly ADU set up specifically for our furry guests to decompress after play and meals. I'm present in the ADU with them, and we also have a Furbo camera set up for extra monitoring. If your pup enjoys canine company, my Australian Shepherd will keep them company there; if your pup prefers to be the only dog, we'll give them their own separated space and time instead, tailored to what makes them most comfortable. Throughout the day, care naturally rotates between active time outside and quiet time in the ADU, so your pup gets a good balance of exercise, mental stimulation, and rest with me nearby the whole time. Your pet's safety is my top priority, both indoors and out. My front and back yards are fully fenced and gated, with an added interior gate leading to the backyard for extra security. I never let dogs outside unsupervised for extended periods, and I always do a visual check of the yard and gate latches before letting anyone out. We have cameras covering the front yard, so we never open the door to unfamiliar people, and dogs are always leashed the moment we step outside the fenced area. Indoors, I keep household chemicals, medications, and anything toxic to pets safely stored away, and I make sure trash cans and food are out of reach. I follow each pet's normal feeding, water, and bathroom schedule as closely as possible, and I'm comfortable administering medication if needed. If I'm caring for multiple pets at once, I introduce them slowly and supervise their interactions until I'm confident everyone is comfortable together.

About: I’m a dog mom of 8 years, and caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. Over the years I’ve helped family and friends with their pets—everything from energetic puppies and senior dogs to rabbits, cats, and even goats! I’m comfortable with all kinds of personalities and needs, and I treat every animal like they’re my own. Whether it’s playtime, walks, feeding, or just keeping them company, your pet will get tons of love, attention, and patience while they’re with me. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine because I work from home and have plenty of flexibility. I get regular breaks every two hours and a full hour for lunch, which gives me lots of time for walks, playtime, feeding, and check-ins throughout the day. I also don’t go out much, so I’m home almost all day—meaning your pet will have constant company, attention, and a calm, comfortable environment. Your pet won’t ever feel lonely here! In my home, your pet will have plenty of comfort and space. I live in a spacious home with room for your pet to settle in and feel relaxed. About: I have taken care of a variety of animals since I was a young kid and have had a dog virtually my entire life, sometimes a few dogs at once and many cats too. I have been a fish, dog, and cat parent for about thirty years or more of my adult life and ongoing. Recently completed a twelve-week obedience training course with our German Shepherd. Plenty of work to do. We also have done pet sitting for friends, as they have also done for us over the many years. We have cared for many a senior dog or cat, as they have been ours. We have always had and cared for animals through their entire life cycle. Before Rover dog care and dog walking of other peoples pets, aside from friends pets was not something we had done as a business, but taking care of animals, especially dogs is an activity I have been doing my entire life, every day. We walk our own dog a couple of times daily. I have owned and cared for many dogs. I currently own a two year old White German Shepherd, which is very socialized. He is a silly one. I have some experience in training, in as much as myself and my GSD went through twelve weeks of obedience classes through PetSmart to help get him setup for success. My primary business is in IT. I work from home almost every day. I have an independent IT consulting company, working for myself since 2003, to date. A very flexible schedule. However, the business has been slow and I am looking for something to supplement my income. Another IT job would likely be treated as a conflict, and I already do that work anyway. This type of gig seems perfect, flexible schedule and doing something I have always wanted to do. Right now, I have the time. We will discuss shifts; I may be good to help during a variety of times. I love dogs, all animals really. We are very willing to sit for some dogs in our own home or stop in to check on, walk and feed them, etc. I have a neighbor that does the same thing as a “side hustle” (for Rover) and they love it. When I am out walking my dog, I often run into them walking their dog tenants that they are sitting while owners are away. I have lived in the Southbay since 1988 and love it here. I have a fenced yard and one dog, a white German Shepherd that is still enjoying late stage puppy hood :-) at two years old. Loves his toys, well socialized and really loves playing with other dogs. He is good company for another dog and someday soon we may be getting another, so he always has a friend. Right now we have just one. We also have one Maine Coon cat (16yr), that generally stays out of site around new dogs. Our one cat has been living with dogs most of his life. We will create separation of animals if it is necessary. If you provide it and it is needed, we will crate your dog, otherwise we are happy to let them always be part of the home while staying with us. The home is safe and secure with plenty of space inside and outside. We are in an enclosed subdivision with safe residential streets for walks. We have dedicated space where our dog and cat eat separately, we can also set up feeding so your pet can eat alone if necessary. We can adjust access to food, so nobody (including our dog) has any issues. Dog walking is done regularly for our GSD and we are happy to take your pet along to explore the neighborhood.

About: I’ve helped train, and care for dogs for several years, and I love working with all sizes and breeds. It makes my day to be able to work with dogs and be able to care for them. Currently have a flexible schedule, as I make my own hours and with part time work and online classes. Willing to work on weekends as well. About: I have a 25lb goldendoodle named Churro 😊 I currently cannot commit to getting another fur baby; however, would love to watch your furbaby and treat him/her like family 💕 I'm currently a stay-at-home mom with two sweetest boys (one furbaby, one hooman). If I do go out to run errands, I'm back home no more than 2 hrs later. I have a fenced yard and a furfriend + toddler to keep your fur baby company. If you provide a crate, I can easily crate your fur baby for extra protection.

By nature, I am an attentive nurturer who will be sure to put your fur baby’s well-being as my top priority. My services include drop-in visits, house sitting, dog walking, and occasional boarding/daycare for small dogs and cats in my townhouse apartment. I will gladly care for other pets as well such as birds, reptiles, and amphibians. I have cared for for multiple pups of various ages (puppy-senior) and I have fostered two newborn puppies. About: I’ve had my dog, Milo, since he was a puppy and I basically take him anywhere he is welcomed. As someone who was scared of dogs as a child, I made it a priority to understand my own dog. I learned plenty about dog enrichment and body language, which has helped Milo become a well-adjusted and socialized dog. My approach to dog walking is allowing the pups to obtain enrichment through walking with brief stops for quick training. All bookings will help fund my dog’s dental cleaning, so thank you! 🫶🏽 Available for walks almost any time during the week, so long as you book in advance. 🙂‍↕️ Will likely walk my dog along with your dog, but let me know if your dog prefers to fly solo. Milo and I take walks every 4-8 hours. All pups are welcome to make themselves at home and are allowed on the furniture. There’s a balcony if your pup wants to sunbathe with Milo. We have a crate that your dog can use, if need be.

I'll run with your dog, teach them tricks (taught our former dog how to use the clicker and various commands), throw the ball with them, take them on walks and feed them. I'm located in PV by the PV reservoir so I'm always out and about in the neighborhood on runs, etc. I grew up with a Scottish Terrier and have watched German Shepherds, Cattle Dogs, Dashunds, Shiba Inu’s and other Terrier breeds. I've got many books on how to deal with various dog behaviors and it's taught me a lot over the years. Would love to help during the week or if you need someone to assist on the weekends too, that can be arranged. Hope to meet your pooch soon! I’ll be able to balance time as I’m at home most days of the week. I’m pretty flexible with my schedule and can typically make it work.
