10. Perla C.

“This was my first time leaving my dog with a non-family member when I went away for the day and Perla made it a good experience for me and my dog. She kept me updated throughout the day with his progress and how he was settling in and sent plenty of pictures. I really appreciate everything she did to put me at ease about leaving him. When I picked him up for the day he even got to keep the toy he enjoyed playing with while he was there for the day. I will definitely be using Perla again to watch my dog when we go out of town.”

11. Peter M.

About: I've grown up taking care of dogs. I know how to feed them, play with them, get to know them, walk them, and comfort them. Every dog I've met has loved my company and enjoys playing with me. I have a 4 1/2 year old Chihuahua Terrior that we've all been taking care of since was 8 weeks old. I socialize my puppy Scooby-Doo everyday and he goes everywhere with me. I can't imagine life without dogs, they mean the world to me. During one of my visits, I would play with your dog and have them feel safe in my company. Also, I would take your dog on potty breaks every couple of hours. My walks won't be too tedious but they'll be enduring. I'll only feed them the appropriate foods and treats I'm given and told to feed them. I'm extremely friendly, and I'm not afraid of barking.

12. Jon O.

“Jon has been nothing short of amazing! I had a prior experience with a different Rover sitter a few months ago (which was my first time using Rover for my puppy) and despite the good reviews, this sitter almost made me give up on Rover. However, I realized I needed to use Rover for doggy daycare since my pup can’t be neutered for another couple of months, and I needed someone to get my lab’s energy out while I work. After looking for a few days, I came across Jon’s page and reached out for a doggy day care request. Right away, I had a great feeling because he asked for a meet and greet which means he is mindful of the dogs he takes in and had a great response time to any questions I had. I waited until my pup’s first week with him to write a review, and I am so so so happy we found Jon! This first week, he did exactly what he said he was going to do aka tire my pup out so I have a balanced WFH life, take care of my pup, and my pup has been extremely excited to see him since then.”

13. Delaney O.

“Delaney was a godsend for an unexpected LA weekend. My golden retriever (and best friend) was immediately comfortable with her and pleased to never leave and just sit at her feet. She was communicative, friendly, and a wonderful guardian to my pet. I hope more travel in the area allows me to book her again, bc I had no worries. You can tell right away that’s she’s an animal lover and goes above and beyond for our furry friends. Thanks again, Delaney!”

About: I have pet and home-sit for twenty years. I have references upon request. All of my sittings are referrals of other pet sittings. I pet-sit for ten years full-time and another ten years part-time. I have administered chemo meds for dogs and insulin for cats. I welcome dogs into my home, or I can come to your home. For cats, I can always come to your home. I am currently in online school and a stay home mom. Both of my children attend school, I drop them off and pick them up from their schools. If your pet stays at my home, it is welcome to sleep or lounge on my couches. I have a backyard where they can play ball or just run around. Our neighborhood is great for walking dogs. I am near Hickory Park. I have a dog door that they can use to go in and out as they please. If you prefer for me to go to your house, I can also water plants, collect mail, and check property.

19. Malia B.
About: I have a 7-year-old mutt rescued from the LoveJoy Foundation which I consider the bulk of my experience. In addition to her, I’ve been pet sitting dogs and cats for friends, family, and neighbors since middle school. I also fostered both dogs and cats throughout my four years of college. I’m currently job hunting and therefore unemployed, so my schedule is completely free! I love taking care of pets so I figured this is the perfect way for me to make some money during this time. I always put the pet’s trust, safety, and comfort first before anything. I ensure that they have a secure environment, I maintain any/all routines they may have, as well as provide them with attention and exercise.

20. Getzemani F.
About: I have always had dogs growing up, and have always loved everything about them. I currently own a Doberman, I rescued him a year ago as a puppy and trained him myself and he is now certified as a service dog. He is a huddle of joy and loves everything and every one. I mainly work mornings during the week and have weekends off. I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule in order to fit any needs needed.
