Pet care experience

Your Dog’s New Favorite WFH Friend

I grew up with two pugs and a Maltese, so I’ve experienced it all—from sleepless puppy nights and potty training to wild zoomies and eventually the slower pace of senior care. I’ve learned how to read dog body language, keep pups on a schedule, and give them the love and patience they need at every stage of life. While I don’t currently have a dog of my own, I miss having that companionship and would love nothing more than to spoil your pup with attention, snuggles, and care.

Bri has been wonderful with Riley. She treats Riley as if she were her own dog. Riley loves going there so much, when we are a few blocks away she starts whining because skews so excited to see Bri.

Riley is always so happy and excited to see Bri and her husband. I’m not sure who loves who more, but it pleases me so much when Bri thanks ME for trusting her with Riley!

Calendar and availability

Schedule

Since I work from home, pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets consistent attention throughout the day- whether that’s potty breaks, walks, playtime, or just being there for companionship. I love having a furry friend around to break up the workday and keep things joyful and active. Caring for pets doesn’t feel like a chore, it’s something I genuinely look forward to.

Safety, trust & environment

I care for pets the same way I would want someone to care for mine- with lots of love, patience, and attention to their routine. Whether I'm watching your pup in my home or yours, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I stick closely to their feeding, potty, and walk schedules, and I always make time for play, cuddles, and any special needs they may have. I'm also happy to send photo updates so you can see how they're doing while you're away!

A typical day

I love going on neighborhood walks or to local parks where they can safely explore and sniff around — it’s great mental stimulation! If they love fetch or tug-of-war, I’m all in for a good play session in the yard or living room. For dogs that are more low-key, I enjoy relaxing with them, giving gentle pets, and maybe doing some training games with treats to keep their minds active. I’ve also cared for older dogs who just like slow strolls and a comfy spot in the sun. Every pet is different, so I always adjust based on their energy level and personality!

It’s important for me to know your pet’s routine, energy level, and any medical needs, like medications, allergies, or past injuries. I also like to ask about their temperament: are they shy, friendly, reactive to other dogs or people? Knowing their favorite toys, treats, or calming spots helps me make them feel at home. For dogs, I ask about leash behavior, recall, and any commands they know. Basically, the more I know, the better I can keep them happy and safe
